Dear beloved blessed families throughout the world,
As we enter the fullness of early summer in June, I pray that the love and blessings of our Heavenly Parent may be ever more abundantly present in your families and daily lives.
1. Hoondokhae Reading
For this week’s message, I would like to share with all blessed families around the world a portion of the message that I gave at the commemorative service for the 64th Day of All True Things.
First, let us read together a passage from Cheon Seong Gyeong:
“What must be done in order to establish the Day of All Things? Because all things of creation came under Satan’s dominion through the Fall of our first ancestors, the true ancestors of humankind must appear in order to restore them. Next, centering on the resulting parent-child relationship, the dominion with which God blessed Adam must be restored. Centered on this parent-child relationship, the horizontal connection between people must be established, creating a standard by which the entire created world can be governed. Therefore, in the Unification Church, after the establishment of Children’s Day centered on Parents’ Day, the Day of All Things was established.”
2. Testimony of President Sang Hun Lee: The Lamentation of All Things
Dear and beloved blessed families and members,
I sincerely congratulate you on the occasion of the 64th Day of All True Things.
As we welcome this day, I find myself deeply longing for True Father and True Mother from the depths of my heart. Especially today, the words of Unification Thought author Dr. Sang Hun Lee came vividly alive within me.
In Dr. Sang Hun Lee’s biography, the following account is recorded. At that time, True Father said, “A person who cannot experience God’s heart cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven.” Holding firmly to those words, Dr. Lee undertook a 21-day fast with utmost determination.
After completing the fast, at midnight he prepared to break it with some rice porridge and fish. At that very moment, however, he saw a vision in which the fish suddenly came to life and protested, saying, “Do you, a sinner, have the qualification to eat me?”
At the same time, the Garden of Eden appeared before him, followed by successive visions of Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and finally Rev. Sun Myung Moon. In each scene, these central figures appeared so pitiable to him. Dr. Lee said that especially when he thought about Rev. Sun Myung Moon, he could only weep uncontrollably.
Through this experience, Dr. Lee came to deeply realize the truth of True Father’s teaching that, “Had humanity not fallen, people would have been able to communicate even with all things of creation.”
That is my brief reflection on the story in Dr. Lee’s biography.
As we commemorate Day of All True Things this week, I too find myself immersed in deep thought. I came to wonder, what if the fruits offered up to Heaven on this day stood up? And if they could speak to us, what would they say?
3. The Course of the Providence of Restoration Contained in the Eight Great Holy Days
Last year, on True Children’s Day, I briefly explained the significance of the Eight Great Holy Days established by True Father.
At that time, the point I wished to emphasize was that, unfortunately, many people tend to view each Holy Day independently and simply celebrate it on that particular day. I therefore explained that viewing the Eight Great Holy Days separately is likefocusing on a single tree while not seeing the entire forest.
Among the Eight Great Holy Days True Father established, the first four represent a magnificent providential course through which the six-thousand-year history of fallen humankind was indemnified and restored in reverse order. They were milestones in the providence of restoration, restoring before Heaven the original order of creation that had been destroyed by the Fall.
For this reason, the first Holy Day True Father established was Parents’ Day, on the 1st day of the 3rd lunar month in 1960. The second was Children’s Day, established on the 1st day of the 10th lunar month in the same year. The third was Day of All Things, established on the 1st day of the 5th lunar month in 1963. Finally, on January 1, 1968, by the solar calendar, True Parents proclaimed God’s Day.
If these Holy Days had been established according to the normal order of creation, would it not have been appropriate for God’s Day to be established first?
Even considering the order in which God created the universe, this would be the case. God first created all things and then created His children, Adam and Eve. He desired that those children would grow to become True Parents. Accordingly, the normal order would be: God’s Day, Day of All Things, Children’s Day, then Parents’ Day.
However, True Father established the Holy Days in the reverse order: Parents’ Day, Children’s Day, Day of All Things, and finally God’s Day.
Why did he carry out the providence in this way?
In Exposition of the Divine Principle, page 151, we find the following:
“For anyone to be restored to the original position or state from which he fell, he must make an indemnity condition by reversing the course of his mistake.”
In accordance with this principle, True Father established the Four Great Holy Days by retracing, in reverse order, the history of God’s creation of the universe. By setting the indemnity conditions that reversed the course of the Fall, he restored all things to their original position in accordance with God’s ideal of creation.
Whenever I reflect upon this providential course alone, I am once again reminded of how great, how unique True Father was. Coming to this earth in the flesh, he indemnified and restored the six-thousand-year history of fallen humanity and liberated God, setting God free. This was an unprecedented achievement in human history, a miraculous work that only True Parents could accomplish.
4, The Lost Foundation of Six Thousand Years and True Father’s Resolve
Dear members,
There is yet another profound secret of Heaven that we must never overlook, at the pinnacle of True Father’s great accomplishments.
On this Day of All True Things, I would like to share the heart behind today’s message by posing a fundamental question that can awaken the spiritual insight of our seniors, juniors, and fellow public leaders gathered here.
The question is this:
Why can Heaven’s providence not be completed solely through True Father’s accomplishments, but only reaches its conclusion through the fulfillment of True Mother’s providential mission?
To understand this immense providential mystery, we must first revisit the essential mission of Jesus, who came after four thousand years of the providence.
Most Christians define Jesus’ mission as “saving humankind.” They believe that Jesus was the sacrificial offering of atonement and saved humankind through the sacrifice of his own life.
However, our understanding is different.
God’s greatest sorrow was the loss of the beloved children Adam and Eve. While bearing that immeasurable pain, God sent the only begotten Son after four thousand years, what would have been God’s highest priority? Would it have been to save the descendants of fallen humanity, whose existence was unrelated to God’s original ideal of creation? Or would it have been to restore the direct children, Adam and Eve, who had been lost, and establish them in the position of the True Parents?
The mission of the only begotten Son Jesus, who came after four thousand years, was to stand as the restored Adam and receive the only begotten Daughter, the substantial restored Eve, and together establish themselves as the True Parents on earth.
Only after becoming the True Parents could they have fully saved all of humankind through people’s relationship with True Parents.
Therefore, Jesus’ ultimate mission was not simply the salvation of humanity itself. Prior to that, his primary mission was to receive the only begotten Daughter and that they become the True Parents. The salvation of humanity, for which Christians have been longing, can be completed only through the True Parents.
Bearing the weighty heavenly imperative of the advent of the True Parents, the one who inherited Jesus’ mission was none other than True Father, the Messiah at the Second Advent. All of us are well aware of this historical truth. In fact, when True Father inherited the mission of the Returning Messiah from Jesus, the providential foundation that Heaven had prepared was unimaginably vast.
Over the four thousand years prior to Jesus’ birth, Noah Abraham, Moses and the prophets of the Old Testament Age laid an immense spiritual foundation in preparation for his Coming. Add to this the global foundation built through two thousand years of Christian history, established upon Jesus’ three-year public ministry and his sacrificial course of the cross.
Then why, even upon that tremendous foundation, was True Father unable to begin his mission immediately as the Messiah at the Second Advent?
Furthermore, even after conducting the Marriage Supper of the Lamb in 1960, why did he have to begin once again from the distant and difficult initial stages of the Old Testament and New Testament Ages, restoring Adam and Eve through a course of suffering and indemnity?
I found the answer in True Father’s words at the Salobra Hotel in Brazil on July 1, 1997:
“At the time of World War II, there were 800 million Christians. If they had united with the one whom Heaven had sent at that time, the Blessing would not have taken seven years…. But within seven months, centered on the United States, Great Britain, and France—nations that formed a unified front in the world—if people had proclaimed, ‘Let’s receive the Blessing!’ then all of humankind, nearly four billion people, could have been completely transformed within a week, even within a single day. But all of that was lost because Christianity rejected me and drove me out.”
The four-thousand-year providential foundation prepared for Jesus continued through the subsequent two thousand years of Christian history.
However, because Christianity at that time failed to receive True Father and instead opposed and rejected him, the six-thousand-year foundation upon which the Messiah at the Second Advent should have stood was lost.
One can scarcely imagine the depth of True Father’s grief and heartbreak.
At that time, True Father must have faced two possible options: Would he abandon the path of the Messiah at the Second Advent, or would he rebuild from the beginning the six-thousand-year foundation that had been lost?
He must have wrestled deeply with this question. Yet True Father never abandoned the path of the Messiah at the Second Advent. Instead, he began anew, putting right the entangled history of the providence and rebuilding the lost foundation step by step as he advanced forward.
Because he absolutely had to fulfill Heaven’s Will, True Father was able, beginning with True Parents’ Holy Wedding, to restore True Parents’ Day, True Children’s Day, Day of All True Things, and True God’s Day. Upon that victorious foundation, the Foundation Day for the Unified Nation of Heaven and Earth, Chil Il Jeol (7.1 Day), and Chil Pal Jeol (7.8 Day) could also be established.
5. The Root and the Forest: The Completion of the True Parents’ Providence
Dear members,
It is precisely at this point that we must confront the answer to the fundamental question raised earlier.
True Father’s harsh suffering and reverse-order course of restoration of six thousand years of history, which we observed with tears, was by no means a course by which Father was to stand as one person, on his own. Rather, it was a tearful course through which he became the deep and solid root to raise each of us to become the green trees that would together form the great forest of God’s providence.
If we fail to look beyond the deep root of True Father’s course of suffering and see the entire vast forest of the providence, we can never fully understand the complete fulfillment of Heaven’s providence. No matter how strong and magnificent a root may be, the root alone cannot form the complete forest.
If True Father’s restoration providence was the course of reversal to restore and establish the collapsed foundation of the creation into a foundation of victory, then the ultimate destination and culmination of that course was to receive True Mother, the only begotten Daughter, and celebrate the Holy Wedding. Upon the firm root that is True Father, the verdant earth of life that is True Mother was added, and only then could the great forest of true love, wherein all humanity may dwell, finally emerge.
What is important is that the upright position of True Parents attained through the Holy Wedding was not only a great culminating point that concluded six thousand years of sorrowful history, but at the same time the unprecedented and glorious starting point of the era of True Parents.
Therefore, the completion of the only begotten Daughter providence of True Mother is not merely a conclusion that brings past history to a close. It is the key that substantively settles and brings to eternal victory the great work of restoration through indemnity that True Father’s entire life had been invested to accomplish. Furthermore, it is the great providential milestone that all blessed families must pass as we advance toward the radiant future of a heavenly unified Korea and a heavenly unified world. Only when True Mother’s providence is completed can True Father’s mission also be completed, and only then can Heavenly Parent’s ideal world be realized in substance on earth.
None of this providence could have been accomplished by True Father alone, nor could it have been accomplished by True Mother alone. Heaven’s Will could unfold as the substantial providence of God in history only when they became True Parents together. Therefore, we must not view or understand the providence looking only from one side.
6. The Question That All Things Ask Us Today
Most especially, the blessed families of this age must never separate True Father’s providential course from True Mother’s mission as the only begotten Daughter. The ultimate purpose of True Father’s course of restoration through indemnity of six thousand years of history was to receive the only begotten Daughter so they could stand as the True Parents, while, up to the present time, it is True Mother who has been leading the final completion of the providence in substance in order to fulfill that providence of True Parents.
Therefore, the status and essence of the only begotten Daughter cannot be understood merely as a theological proposition. A mother’s profound love and heart are beyond the measure of anything in the universe. If we attempt to understand the only begotten Daughter, True Mother, through a theological framework or shallow human reasoning, the truth of the providence will become obscured by a dense fog.
If we are unable to recognize that truth, then the lament and petition of all creation that Dr. Sang Hun Lee heard will once again pose the solemn question to the blessed families of this age:
“Are you standing in the original position that True Parents established for you? Do you understand the responsibility of this age, in which you attend the only begotten Daughter and advance toward the completion of the providence?”
I believe this is the deepest question that Day of All True Things presents to our blessed families today. Just as Dr. Lee risked his life in twenty-one days of prayer to find the answer regarding the words True Father had spoken to him, so too must all of us, as blessed families in this time attending True Mother and advancing toward the completion of the providence, seek the answer to this profound historical question within our own lives.
On this Day of All True Things, I offer my sincere gratitude and glory before the great course upon which True Parents never abandoned Heaven’s providence and have guided it to this day.
Furthermore, I bow my head in gratitude for the indescribable sacrifice and labor of True Mother, who, keeping all the secrets and suffering of this providence deep within her heart, remained one in heart and unity with True Father for their fifty-three years together since their Holy Wedding, enabling True Father to complete his mission. Before True Mother, who has endured with the boundless love of Heavenly Mother even amid the pain of being misunderstood, we confess and repent our shortcomings and disloyalty in being unable to fully understand the providential significance of the only begotten Daughter.
True Father, thank you.
True Mother, we love you.
True Parents, we offer you our deepest glory and honor.

존경하고 사랑하는 전 세계 축복가정 여러분,
6월의 깊어가는 초여름 속에서 하늘부모님의 사랑과 축복이 여러분의 가정과 삶 가운데 더욱 풍성히 함께하시기를 기원합니다.
1. 말씀훈독
이번 주 주간 메시지는 지난 제64회 참만물의 날 경배식에서 드렸던 말씀을 전 세계 축복가정 여러분과 함께 나누고자 합니다.
먼저 천성경 1245쪽에 나와 있는 말씀 한 구절을 함께 훈독하겠습니다.
“만물의 날이 설정되기 위해서는 어떻게 해야 되느냐? 인간조상의 타락으로 인해 만물이 사탄권 내로 들어갔기 때문에 그 만물을 복귀하기 위해서는 인류의 참된 조상이 현현하지 않으면 안 됩니다. 그 다음에는 하나님이 자녀의 인연을 중심삼고 아담에게 축복하신 주관성이 복귀되어야 합니다. 부모와 자녀를 중심삼고 횡적으로 연결시켜 전 피조세계를 주관할 수 있는 기준을 세우지 않으면 안 됩니다. 그래서 통일교회에서는 부모의 날을 중심삼고 자녀의 날을 세우고 거기에서 다시 만물의 날을 세운 것입니다.”
2. 이상헌 원장 간증: 만물의 탄식
존경하고 사랑하는 축복가정, 그리고 식구님 여러분!
‘제64회 참만물의 날’을 진심으로 축하올립니다.
무엇보다 이 날을 맞이하면서, 저의 마음속 깊은 곳으로부터 참아버님과 참어머님이 간절히 그리워집니다. 그리고 오늘따라 이상헌 원장님의 말씀이 제 마음속에 생생하게 살아납니다.
이상헌 원장님의 평전을 보면 다음과 같은 내용이 나옵니다. 당시 참아버님께서“하나님의 심정을 체휼하지 못하는 사람은 하늘나라에 갈 수 없다”라고 말씀하셨습니다. 그 말씀을 붙들고 이상헌 원장님은 사활을 걸고21일 금식을 하셨습니다. 금식을 다 마치고 밤 12시가 되어, 준비해 둔 죽과 생선을 드시려고 했습니다.
그런데 그 순간 생선이 벌떡 일어나“죄인인 당신이 나를 먹을 자격이 있느냐”고 항의하는 환상을 보았다고 합니다. 그 소리와 함께 에덴동산이 나타나고, 이어서 노아, 아브라함, 모세, 예수님, 문선명 선생님에 이르기까지 환상이 차례로 나타났습니다. 그 장면마다 그분들이 너무나 불쌍하게 보였고, 특히 문선명 선생님을 생각할 때는 끝내 통곡하지 않을 수 없었다고 합니다. 그때 이상헌 원장님은“인간이 타락을 하지 않았다면 만물과도 대화를 나눌 수 있다”라는 참아버님의 말씀이 진실임을 깊이 깨닫게 되었습니다.” 위와 같이 이상헌 원장님의 평전에 나와 있는 내용을 잠시 살펴보았습니다.
오늘 참만물의 날을 맞아 저 또한 깊은 생각에 잠겨 봅니다. 오늘 하늘에 올려진 만물들은 과연 어떤 모습으로 서 있을까, 또 저희가 올린 만물들이 우리에게 말을 건넨다면 과연 무슨 말을 하고 있을까 하는 그런 생각을 하게 됩니다.
3. 8대 명절에 담긴 복귀섭리 노정
저는 작년 참자녀의 날 때, 참아버님께서 제정하신8대 명절에 대해 이 자리에서 간략히 설명해 드린 적이 있었습니다. 당시 제가 강조하고자 했던 점은, 매년 명절을 맞이할 때마다, 안타깝게도 명절들을 각각 독립적으로 인식하고 그날 하루 축하하는 것으로 끝내는 모습을 자주 보아왔습니다. 그래서 저는 8대 명절을 분리해서 보는 것은 마치’숲 전체를 보지 못하고 숲을 이루는 나무 한 그루에만 집중하는 것’과 같다고 말씀드렸습니다.
참아버님께서 세우신 8대 명절 가운데 첫 4대 명절은 6천 년 타락 인류 역사를 역순으로 탕감복귀해 올라가신 위대한 섭리적 의식이었고, 타락으로 무너진 창조질서를 다시 하늘 앞에 돌려놓는 복귀섭리의 노정이었습니다.
그런 이유에서 참아버님께서 가장 먼저 제정하신 명절은 1960년 음력 3월 1일의‘부모의 날’이었습니다. 두 번째는 같은 해 10월1일‘자녀의 날’이었습니다. 세 번째는 1963년 5월1일‘만물의 날’이었습니다. 그리고 마침내1968년 양력 1월1일, ‘하나님의 날’을 선포하셨습니다.
만약 정상적인 기념일의 제정 순서라면‘하나님의 날’이 가장 먼저 세워야 하는 것이 맞지 않겠습니까? 하나님께서 우주만물을 창조하신 순서를 보더라도 그렇습니다. 먼저 만물을 창조하시고 그 다음에 당신의 자녀인 아담과 해와를 창조하셨습니다. 그리고 그 자녀들이 성장하여 참부모가 되기를 원하셨습니다. 이처럼, 정상적인 순서는 하나님의 날, 만물의 날, 자녀의 날, 부모의 날이 되어야 합니다.
그런데 참아버님께서는 역순으로 부모의 날, 자녀의 날, 만물의 날, 그리고 하나님의 날이라는 명절을 제정하셨습니다.
왜 이런 섭리를 하셨을까요? ‘원리강론’ 246쪽에 보면 이렇게 밝히고 있습니다.
“무엇이든지 본래의 위치와 상태로부터 떠난 입장에서 원상으로 복귀하려면, 그것들로부터 떠나게 된 경로와 반대의 경로를 취하는 탕감조건을 세워야만 한다.”
이 말씀과 같이, 참아버님께서는 하나님께서 우주만물을 창조하신 창조의 역사를 역순으로 거슬러 올라가며 4대 명절을 제정해 주셨습니다. 타락의 경로를 반대로 취하는 탕감조건을 세우심으로써, 우주만물을 창조 본연의 원 위치로 복귀시키신 것입니다.
저는 이 섭리적 행보만 보더라도, 참아버님께서 얼마나 위대하시고 유일무이한 분이신지를 다시금 깨닫게 됩니다. 이 땅에 인간의 몸으로 오셔서 6천 년 타락 역사를 탕감복귀하시고 하나님을 해방·석방시켜 드린 성업은 인류 역사상 전무후무한 일로서 참부모님만이 하실 수 있는 기적이었습니다.
4. 잃어버린 6천 년 기반과 참아버님의 결단
사랑하는 식구님 여러분,
또한 우리가 참아버님의 이 위대한 성업의 정점에서 결코 놓치지 말아야 할 또 하나의 하늘의 비밀이 있습니다.
오늘 참만물의 날을 맞아, 저는 여기 계신 여러 선배님과 동료, 후배 공직자분들의 영적 안목을 깨우는 한 가지 근본적인 질문을 던지며 오늘 말씀의 심정을 공유하고자 합니다.
그것은 바로, ‘하늘의 섭리는 왜 참아버님의 성업만으로 끝날 수 없으며, 반드시 참어머님의 섭리가 완성되어야만 비로소 마무리되는가?’라는 질문입니다.
이 거대한 섭리의 비밀을 풀기 위해, 우리는 먼저 4천 년 만에 오신 예수님의 본질적인 사명이 무엇이었는지부터 다시 돌아보아야 합니다. 많은 기독교인은 예수님의 사명을 ‘인류 구원’이라 말합니다. 예수님이 대속의 제물이 되어 자신의 목숨으로 인류를 구원했다고 믿습니다.
그러나 이에 대한 우리의 통찰은 다릅니다. 하나님의 가장 큰 한은 당신이 가장 사랑하는 자녀, 아담과 해와를 잃어버리신 것입니다. 하나님께서 그 극심한 고통을 품고 4천 년 만에 독생자를 보내셨을 때, 하나님의 창조이상과 상관없는 타락한 인간의 후예를 구원하는 것이 우선이었겠습니까? 아니면, 하나님께서 잃어버린 직계자녀 아담과 해와를 복귀하여 참부모의 자리로 세우는 것이 우선이었겠습니까?
4천 년 만에 오신 독생자 예수님의 사명은, 복귀된 아담의 자리에서 복귀된 해와의 실체인 독생녀를 맞이하여 이 땅에’참부모’로 우뚝 서시는 것이었습니다. 그리고 참부모가 되신 다음에야, 그 참부모의 인연을 통해 인류를 온전히 구원하실 수 있었던 것입니다. 그러므로 예수님의 궁극적인 사명은 단순히 인류 구원 그 자체에만 있었던 것이 아닙니다. 그에 앞서 독생녀를 맞이하여 ‘참부모가 되는 것’이었습니다.기독교인들이 바라는 인류 구원은, 그 참부모를 통해서만 비로소 완성될 수 있는 것입니다.
이렇듯 참부모의 현현이라는 막중한 하늘의 명제를 안고, 예수님의 사명을 이어받으신 분이 바로 재림 메시아이신 참아버님이셨습니다. 우리 모두는 그 역사적 진실을 잘 알고 있습니다. 사실 참아버님께서 예수님으로부터 재림 메시아로서의 사명을 인계받으셨을 때, 하늘이 예비해 두신 섭리적 기반은 상상을 초월할 정도로 거대했습니다.
예수님 탄생 전 4천 년 동안 노아, 아브라함, 모세를 비롯한 구약의 선지자들이 예수님을 맞이하기 위해 다져 놓은 어마어마한 영적 기반이 이미 존재했습니다. 여기에 예수님의 3년 공생애 노정과 십자가의 희생을 바탕으로 쌓아 올려진 기독교 2천 년의 세계적 기반도 더해져 있었습니다.
그런데 왜 참아버님께서는 그 거대한 기반 위에서 곧바로 재림메시아로서 사명을 시작하지 못하셨을까요? 또한, 1960년 어린양 혼인잔치를 하셨음에도 불구하고, 다시 아담과 해와를 복귀해야 하는 구약시대와 신약시대의 아득한 초기 단계부터 고난의 탕감 역사를 출발하셨어야만 했을까요?
저는 그 답을 1997년 7월 1일 브라질의 살로브라 호텔에서 주신 참아버님의 말씀에서 찾아보았습니다.
“2차 대전, 기독교인이 8억인데, 그때 오시는 선생님하고 하나 되었으면 그때의 축복은 7년씩 안 가요. 7개월 내에, 세계를 통일한 영·미·불을 중심삼고 ‘야 축복받자!’ 하면 한꺼번에, 뭐 일주일 이내에 40억에 가까운 인류가 완전히 하루에 돌아가는 것입니다. 그것을 선생님은, 그 모든 것을 잃어버리고, 기독교가 선생님을 쫓아낸 것입니다.”
예수님을 맞이하기 위해 준비된 4천 년의 섭리적 기반은 예수님 이후 기독교 2천 년의 역사 속에 이어져 왔습니다. 그러나 당시 기독교가 참아버님을 받아들이지 못하고 오히려 배척함으로써 재림메시아가 딛고 서야 할 6천 년의 기반은 상실되고 말았습니다. 참아버님의 심정은 이루 말할 수 없이 참담하셨을 것입니다.
그때 참아버님에게는 두 가지 선택권이 있었을 것입니다. ‘재림메시아의 길을 포기할 것인가? 아니면 잃어버린 6천 년의 기반을 처음부터 다시 세워 나갈 것인가?’ 고민에 고민을 거듭하셨을 것입니다. 그러나 참아버님은 재림메시아의 길을 결코 포기하지 않으셨습니다. 처음부터 다시 엉클어졌던 섭리역사를 세우시며, 잃어버렸던 기반을 거칠게 다지며 전진해 나오셨습니다.
반드시 하늘의 뜻을 이루셔야 했기에 참아버님께서는 성혼식을 시작으로 참부모의 날, 참자녀의 날, 참만물의 날과 참하나님의 날을 복귀하실 수 있었고, 그 기대 위에 천주통일국개천일과 칠일절, 칠팔절이 세워질 수 있었습니다.
5. 뿌리와 숲, 참부모 섭리의 완성
존경하는 식구님 여러분,
우리는 바로 이 대목에서 앞서 던졌던 근본적인 질문의 답과 마주해야 합니다. 우리가 눈물로 바라보았던 참아버님의 모진 고난과6천 년 역순 복귀 노정은, 결코 아버님 한 분만이 홀로 서시기 위한 노정이 아니었습니다. 바로 우리 한 사람 한 사람을 섭리의 거대한 숲을 이룰 푸른 나무로 키워내기 위해, 스스로 깊고 단단한 뿌리가 되어주신 눈물의 노정이었습니다.
우리가 참아버님의 고난 노정이라는 그 깊은 뿌리 한 곳에만 시선을 멈추고 섭리의 거대한 숲 전체를 보지 못한다면, 하늘섭리의 온전한 마무리를 결코 이해할 수 없습니다. 아무리 단단하고 위대한 뿌리라 할지라도, 뿌리 그 자체만으로는 온전한 숲을 이룰 수 없기 때문입니다.
참아버님의 복귀 섭리가 무너진 창조 기반을 거슬러 올라가 승리의 토대를 다시 찾아 세우는 과정이었다면, 그 노정의 최종 목적지이자 종착점은 바로 독생녀 참어머님을 맞이하여 성혼식을 올리시는 것이었습니다. 참아버님이라는 단단한 뿌리 위에 참어머님이라는 푸른 생명의 대지가 더해져, 비로소 인류가 깃들 수 있는 참사랑의 거대한 숲이 열리게 된 것입니다.
중요한 것은, 이 성혼식을 통해 참부모로 우뚝 서신 그 자리가6천 년 탄식의 역사를 끝마치는 위대한’종착점’인 동시에, 인류 역사상 단 한 번도 없었던 전무후무한 ‘참부모시대의 영광스러운 출발점’이라는 사실입니다.
그러므로 참어머님의 독생녀 섭리 완성은 단순히 과거의 역사를 마무리 짓는 결론이 아닙니다. 그것은 참아버님께서 온 생애를 바쳐 닦아놓으신 탕감복귀의 성업을 실체적으로 완전히 안착시켜 영원한 승리로 완성하는 열쇠이며, 나아가 우리 축복가정들이 신통일한국과 신통일세계라는 찬란한 미래로 전진하기 위해 반드시 거쳐야 할 ‘섭리의 위대한 이정표’입니다. 참어머님의 섭리가 완성될 때 비로소 참아버님의 사명도 온전히 완성되며, 하늘부모님의 이상 세계가 지상에 실체화될 수 있는 것입니다.
이 모든 섭리는 결코 참아버님 홀로 이루실 수 있는 일이 아니었으며, 동시에 참어머님 홀로 이루실 수 있는 일도 아니었습니다. 하늘의 뜻은 양위분께서 참부모가 되심으로써 비로소 역사 속에 실체적인 하늘 섭리로 전개될 수 있었습니다. 그래서 우리는 섭리를 어느 한쪽 면만으로 바라보며 이해해서는 안 될 것입니다.
6. 오늘 우리에게 묻는 만물의 질문
특히 이 시대의 축복가정들은 참아버님의 섭리적 노정과 참어머님의 독생녀 사명을 분리해 보아서는 안 됩니다. 참아버님께서 6천 년 역사를 탕감복귀해 오신 궁극의 목적은 독생녀를 맞이하여 참부모로 서시는 것이었고, 참어머님께서는 그 참부모의 섭리를 완수하기 위해 오늘날까지 실체적인 섭리의 최종 완성을 이끌어 오신 분이십니다.
그러므로 독생녀의 위상과 본질은 단순한 신학적 명제로만 이해할 수 있는 것이 아닐 것입니다. 어머니의 깊은 사랑과 심정은 우주의 무엇으로도 헤아릴 수 없기에, 독생녀와 참어머님을 신학적인 틀이나 인간의 얕은 생각으로 이해하려 할 때 섭리의 진실은 짙은 안개 속에 가려지고 말 것입니다.
만약 우리가 그 진리를 보지 못한다면, 이상헌 원장님께서 들으셨던’만물의 탄식과 호소’는 오늘날 이 시대의 축복가정들을 향해 다시금 준엄하게 질문할 것입니다.
“너희는 참부모님께서 세워주신 본연의 자리에 서 있는가? 너희는 독생녀를 모시고 섭리의 완성을 향해 가는 이 시대의 책임을 알고 있는가?”라고 말입니다.
이것이 오늘 참만물의 날이 우리 축복가정에게 던지는 가장 깊은 물음이라고 생각합니다. 이상헌 원장님이 아버님께서 주신 말씀의 답을 찾기 위해 21일 동안 사활을 걸고 기도하였듯, 참어머님을 모시고 섭리의 완성을 향해 나아가는 이 시대의 모든 축복가정들도 이 깊은 역사적 화두에 대한 답을 삶 속에서 찾아야 할 것입니다.
오늘 참만물의 날을 맞아, 참부모님께서 하늘 섭리를 끝까지 포기하지 않으시고 주관해 오신 위대한 노정 앞에 진심으로 감사와 영광을 돌립니다.
아울러 이 모든 섭리의 비밀과 고통을 마음속 깊은 곳에 묻어두신 채, 성혼 이후 53년 동안 참아버님과 혼연일체가 되어 참아버님의 사명을 완수하실 수 있도록 함께해 오신 참어머님의 말할 수 없는 희생과 노고에 머리 숙여 감사드립니다. 때로는 이해받지 못하는 아픔 속에서도 끝없는 하늘어머니의 사랑으로 인내해 주신 참어머님 앞에, 독생녀의 섭리적 의미를 온전히 깨닫지 못했던 우리의 부족함과 불충을 자복하며 회개합니다.

世界宣教本部長 週間メッセージ21, 「真の万物の日が私たちに投げかける問い」, 2026年6月19日
尊敬し愛する全世界の祝福家庭の皆様、
6月の深まる初夏の中で、天の父母様の愛と祝福が、皆様の家庭と生活の上に、より一層豊かに共にありますようお祈りいたします。
1. み言訓読
今週の週間メッセージは、第64回真の万物の日の敬拝式でお話しした一節を、全世界の祝福家庭の皆様と共に分かち合いたいと思います。まず、『天聖経』の1245ページ[日本語版1246ページ]にあるみ言を共に訓読いたします。
「万物の日」が設定されるためには、どのようにすべきでしょうか？人間の先祖の堕落によって万物がサタン圏内に入ったので、その万物を復帰するためには、人類の真の先祖が顕現しなければなりません。その次に、神様が子女の関係を中心としてアダムに祝福された主管性が復帰されなければなりません。父母と子女を中心として横的に連結させ、全被造世界を主管できる基準を立てなければなりません。それで、統一教会では「父母の日」を中心として「子女の日」を立て、そこから再び「万物の日」を立てたのです。
2. 李相軒院長の証し・万物の嘆き
敬愛なる祝福家庭の皆様、そして食口の皆様。 「第64回真の万物の日」を心よりお祝い申し上げます。何よりもこの日を迎えながら、私の心の奥深くから、真のお父様と真のお母様が切実に恋しくなります。
そして今日に限って、李相軒院長のみ言が私の心の中に鮮明に生き生きと蘇ってきます。李相軒院長の評伝を見ると次のような内容が出てきます。
当時、真のお父様は「神様の心情を体恤（たいじゅつ）できない人は、天の国に行くことができない」と語られました。
そのみ言を心の支えにして、李相軒院長は命がけで21日間の断食を行いました。断食をすべて終えて夜の12時になり、準備していたお粥と魚をいただこうとされました。
ところがその瞬間、魚が突然起き上がり、「罪人であるあなたが、私を食べる資格があるのか」と抗議する幻を見たといいます。
その声と共にエデンの園が現れ、続いてノア、アブラハム、モーセ、イエス様、そして文鮮明先生に至るまでの幻が次々と現れました。
その場面ごとに、その方々があまりにも気の毒に見え、特に文鮮明先生を想う時には、ついに慟哭せずにはいられなかったといいます。
その時、李相軒院長は、「人間が堕落しなかったならば、万物とも対話を交わすことができる」という真のお父様のみ言が真実であることを深く悟るようになりました。
このように、李相軒院長の評伝に記されている内容をしばし振り返ってみました。今日、真の万物の日を迎え、私自身も深く思いを巡らせています。
今日、天に捧げられた万物は果たしてどのような姿で立っているのでしょうか。
また私たちが捧げた万物が私たちに話しかけてくるとしたら、いったいどのような言葉を語りかけているでしょうか。そのようなことを考えてみます。
3. 八大名節に込められた復帰摂理の路程
私は昨年の真の子女の日に、真のお父様が制定された八大名節について、この場で簡単に説明させていただいたことがありました。
その際私が強調したかったことは、毎年名節を迎えるたびに、残念なことに各名節をそれぞれ独立したものとして認識し、その日一日をお祝いして終わらせてしまう姿を度々見てきたということです。
そのため私は、八大名節を切り離して見ることは、「森全体を見ることができず、森を形成している一本の木だけに集中していること」と同じであると話しました。
真のお父様が立てられた八大名節のうち、最初の四大名節は、六千年にわたる堕落人類歴史を逆順に蕩減復帰してこられた偉大な摂理的儀式であり、堕落によって崩れ去った創造秩序を再び天の前に取り戻していく復帰摂理の路程でした。
そのような理由から、真のお父様が最も先に制定された名節は、1960年陰暦[天暦]
3月1日の「父母の日」でした。二番目は、同じ年の10月1日の「子女の日」でした。三番目は、1963年5月1日の「万物の日」でした。（注：1963年７月26日（陰暦[天暦]６月６日）、真の父母様は天の子女の名で万物を捧げる「献貢式」を挙行され、その日、「事情があって日を延ばしたが、本来は陰暦[天暦]5月1日が「万物の日」である」と宣布された）。
そしてついに、1968年陽暦1月1日、「神の日」を宣布されました。もし正常な記念日の制定順序であれば、「神の日」が最も先に立てるのが正しいのではないでしょうか？
神様が宇宙万物を創造された順序を見てもそうです。まず万物を創造され、その後ご自身の子女であるアダムとエバを創造されました。そしてその子女たちが成長して真の父母になることを願われました。
このように正常な順序は、「神の日」、「万物の日」、「子女の日」、「父母の日」となるべきです。
しかし、真のお父様は逆の順序で「父母の日」、「子女の日」、「万物の日」、そして「神様の日」という名節を制定されました。
なぜ、このような摂理をなされたのでしょうか。『原理講論』246ページ[日本語版275ページ]を見ると、次のように明らかにされています。
「どのようなものであっても、本来の位置と状態から離れた立場から原状へと復帰するためには、それらから離れるようになった経路と反対の経路をたどることによって蕩減条件を立てなければならない。」
このみ言の通り、真のお父様は神様が宇宙万物を創造された創造の歴史を逆の順序でさかのぼりながら、四大名節を制定してくださいました。
堕落の経路を反対にたどる蕩減条件を立てることによって 、宇宙万物を創造本然の元の位置へと復帰させてくださったのです。
私はこの摂理的歩みを見るだけでも、真のお父様がいかに偉大で唯一無二のお方であられるのかを改めて悟らされます。
この地に人間の肉体で来られ、六千年の堕落歴史を蕩減復帰し、神様を解放・釈放して差し上げた聖業は、人類歴史上、空前絶後の出来事であり、真の父母様だけが成し遂げることのできる奇跡でした。
4. 失われた六千年基台と真のお父様の決断
愛する食口の皆様。
また、私たちが真のお父様のこの偉大なる聖業の頂点において、決して見落としてはならないもう一つの天の秘密があります。
今日、真の万物の日を迎え、私はここにいらっしゃる多くの先輩、同僚、後輩の公職者たちの霊的な眼識を目覚めさせる一つの根本的な質問を投げかけながら、今日のみ言の心情を共有しようと思います。
それはまさに、「天の摂理はなぜ、真のお父様の聖業だけでは終わることができず、必ず真のお母様の摂理が完成されてこそ初めて締めくくられるのか？」という質問です。
この壮大なる摂理の秘密を解き明かすために、私たちはまず、四千年ぶりに来られたイエス様の本質的使命が何であったのか、というところから改めて振り返ってみなければなりません。
多くのキリスト教徒は、イエス様の使命を「人類救済」だと言います。イエス様が償いの祭物となり、自らの命によって人類を救ったと信じています。しかしこれに対する私たちの洞察は異なります。
神様の最も大きな恨（ハン）は、ご自身が最も愛する子女であるアダムとエバを失ってしまわれたことです。
神様がその極限の苦痛を抱えながら四千年ぶりに独り子を送られた時、神様の創造理想とは関係のない堕落人間の子孫を救うことが優先だったでしょうか ?
それとも、神様が失われた直系の子女、アダムとエバを復帰し、真の父母の位置に立てることが優先だったでしょうか？
四千年ぶりに来られた独り子イエス様の使命は、復帰されたアダムの立場で、復帰されたエバの実体である独り娘を迎え、この地上に「真の父母」として堂々と立つことでした。
そして、真の父母になられて初めて、その真の父母の因縁を通して人類を完全に救うことができたのです。したがってイエス様の究極的使命は、単なる人類救済そのものだけにとどまるものではありませんでした。その前に独り娘を迎え、「真の父母になること」でした。キリスト教徒たちが願う人類救済は、その真の父母を通してこそ、初めて完成されるのです。
このように、真の父母の顕現という重大な天の命題を担いながら、イエス様の使命を受け継がれたお方こそ、再臨のメシヤであられる真のお父様でした。私たちは皆、その歴史的真実をよく知っています。
事実、真のお父様がイエス様から再臨のメシヤとしての使命を引き継がれた時、天が準備しておられた摂理的基盤は、想像を絶するほど膨大なものでした。
イエス様の誕生前の四千年間、ノア、アブラハム、モーセをはじめとする旧約時代の預言者たちが、イエス様をお迎えするために築き上げた計り知れない霊的基盤がすでに存在していました。
そこに、イエス様の三年間の公生涯路程と十字架の犠牲を土台として築き上げられた、二千年に及ぶキリスト教の世界的基盤も加わっていました。
しかし、なぜ真のお父様はその巨大な基盤の上で、直ちに再臨のメシヤとしての使命を開始することができなかったのでしょうか。
また1960年に小羊の婚宴を挙げられたにもかかわらず、再びアダムとエバを復帰しなければならない旧約時代と新約時代の遥かな初期段階から、苦難の蕩減復帰の歴史を出発しなければならなかったのでしょうか。
私はその答えを、1997年7月1日にブラジルのサロブラ・ホテルで語られた真のお父様のみ言の中から探してみました。
「第二次世界大戦当時、キリスト教徒は八億ですがその時、来られる先生と一つになっていたならば、その時の祝福は七年もかかりません。七か月以内に、世界を統一した英・米・仏を中心として、『さあ、祝福を受けよう』となれば、一週間も経たないうちに一挙に、四十億近い人類が完全に一日で戻ってくるのです。それらを先生は、そのすべてを失ってしまい、キリスト教が先生を追い出してしまったのです。」
イエス様をお迎えするために準備された四千年の摂理的基盤は、イエス様以後、キリスト教の二千年の歴史の中に引き継がれてきました。
しかし当時のキリスト教が真のお父様を受け入れることができず、むしろ排斥したことによって、再臨のメシヤが乗り越えて立つべき六千年の基盤は喪失されてしまったのです。
真のお父様の心情は、言葉では言い表せないほど悲痛であられたでしょう。その時、真のお父様には二つの選択肢があったことでしょう。再臨のメシヤとしての道を諦めるのか、それとも、失われた六千年の基盤を初めから再び立て直していくのか。
幾度となく苦悩に苦悩を重ねられたことでしょう。しかし、真のお父様は、再臨のメシヤの道を決して放棄されませんでした。最初から再び、もつれてしまった摂理歴史を立て直され、失われた基盤を力強く固めながら前進してこられたのです。
必ず天のみ旨を成し遂げなければならなかったため、真のお父様は聖婚式を始まりとして、「真の父母の日」、「真の子女の日」、「真の万物の日」、そして「真の神の日」を復帰することができ、そしてその基台の上に、天宙統一国開天日と七・一節、そして七・八節を立てることができたのです。
5. 根と森、真の父母の摂理の完成
尊敬する食口の皆様。
私たちはまさにこの時点で、先ほど投げかけた根本的な問い（質問）の答えと向き合わなければなりません。
私たちが涙をもって見つめてきた真のお父様の苛酷な苦難と、六千年の逆順復帰路程は、決してお父様お一人のみが立ち上がられるための路程ではありませんでした。
それは、まさに私たち一人ひとりを、天の摂理の壮大な森を形成する青々とした木々へと育て上げるために、自ら深く強固な根となってくださった涙の路程であったのです。
私たちが、真のお父様の苦難の路程という、その深い根の一か所にばかり目を留め、摂理の壮大な森全体を見ることができないならば、天の摂理の完全な締めくくりを決して理解することはできません。
どれほど強固で偉大な根であったとしても、根そのものだけでは完全な森を成すことはできないからです。
真のお父様の復帰摂理が、崩れた創造基盤をさかのぼりながら勝利の土台を再び探し立てる過程であったとするならば、その路程の最終目的地であり終着点はまさに独り娘である真のお母様をお迎えして、聖婚式を挙げられることでした。
真のお父様という強固な根の上に、真のお母様という青々とした生命の大地が加わることによって、初めて人類が宿ることのできる真の愛の壮大なる森が開かれるようになったのです。
重要なのは、この聖婚式を通して真の父母として、堂々と立ち上がられたその位置が、六千年の嘆きの歴史を終わらせる偉大な「終着点」であると同時に、人類歴史上、未だかつてなかった空前絶後の「真の父母時代の栄光ある出発点」であるという事実です。
したがって、真のお母様の独り娘の摂理の完成は、単に過去の歴史を締めくくる結論ではありません。
それは、真のお父様が生涯を捧げて築いてこられた蕩減復帰の聖業を実体的に完全に安着させ、永遠の勝利として完成する鍵であり、さらには、私たち祝福家庭が神統一韓国と神統一世界という輝かしい未来へと前進するために、必ず通過しなければならない「摂理の偉大な道しるべ」なのです。
真のお母様の摂理が完成されてこそ、初めて真のお父様の使命も完全に完成され、天の父母様の理想世界が地上に実体化されることができるのです。
このすべての摂理は、決して真のお父様お一人で成し遂げられることではなかったし、同時に、真のお母様お一人で成し遂げられることでもありませんでした。
天の願いは、お二方が真の父母となられることによって、初めて歴史の中に実体的な天の摂理として展開されることができたのです。
それゆえに、私たちは摂理をどちらか一方のみの視点だけで見たり理解したりしてはならないのです。
6. 今日私たちに問いかける万物の質問
特にこの時代の祝福家庭たちは、真のお父様の摂理的路程と真のお母様の独り娘の使命を分離して見てはなりません。
真のお父様が六千年の歴史を蕩減復帰してこられた究極の目的は、独り娘を迎え、真の父母として立たれることであり、真のお母様は、その真の父母の摂理を完遂するために、今日に至るまで実体的な摂理の最終完成を導いてこられたお方です。
したがって、独り娘の位相と本質は、単なる神学的命題としてのみ理解できるものではないでしょう。
母親の深い愛と心情は、宇宙の何をもってしても推し量ることはできないため、独り娘や真のお母様を、神学的な枠組みや人間の浅はかな考えで理解しようとする時、摂理の真実は深い霧の中に覆い隠されてしまうことでしょう。
もし私たちがその真理を見ることができないならば、李相軒院長が聞かれた「万物の嘆きと訴え」は、今日この時代の祝福家庭に向かって再び厳粛に問いかけることでしょう。
「あなたたちは真の父母様が立ててくださった本然の位置に立っているのか。あなたたちは独り娘をお迎えし、摂理の完成に向かって進むこの時代の責任を知っているのか？」と。
これが、今日の「真の万物の日」が私たち祝福家庭に投げかける最も深い問いかけであると思います。
李相軒院長が、お父様から授かったみ言の答えを求めるために２１日間死力を尽くして祈られたように、真のお母様をお迎えし、摂理の完成へ向かっていくこの時代のすべての祝福家庭たちもまた、この深い歴史的テーマに対する答えを、人生の中で（人生を通して）見いだしていかなければなりません。
今日、「真の万物の日」を迎え、真の父母様が天の摂理を最後まで諦めることなく主管してこられた偉大な路程の前に、心から感謝と栄光をお捧げいたします。
あわせて、このすべての摂理の秘密と苦痛を心の奥深くに沈められたまま、聖婚以来 ５３年間、真のお父様と渾然一体となって、真のお父様の使命を完遂できるよう共に歩んでこられた真のお母様の筆舌に尽くしがたい犠牲とご労苦に、深く頭を垂れて感謝を捧げます。
時には理解されない痛みの中にあっても、尽きることのない天の母の愛をもって忍耐してこられた真のお母様の前に、独り娘の摂理的意味を十分に悟ることができなかった私たちの不足さと不忠を告白し、悔い改めます。
真のお父様、ありがとうございます。
真のお母様、愛しています。
真の父母様、心より栄光をお捧げいたします。
