Nurturing Faith, Community, and Care: Children’s Educational Workshop Concludes in Beirut
A two-day educational workshop dedicated to character building, faith development, and community engagement brought together five young participants aged 6 to 13 on July 22 and 23 in Beirut.
Organized for local youth—including children of community members and HTM families—the workshop offered an intimate, supportive space for spiritual growth, practical ethics, and personal connection.
Day One: Core Values in Action
The first day set a vibrant tone with a series of interactive, age-appropriate sessions designed to instill fundamental virtues and practical moral lessons:
- Building a Relationship with God: Children explored personal faith through reflective discussions and creative activities, learning how to connect with God in their daily lives.
- Strengthening Family and Friendships: Through teamwork exercises and guided sharing, participants discussed the importance of loyalty, open communication, and empathy within their homes and peer groups.
- Living for the Sake of Others: A cornerstone of the program, this session highlighted altruism and service, inspiring the children to look for small, everyday opportunities to help those around them.
- Caring for Creation: Hands-on activities focused on environmental stewardship, encouraging the youth to respect nature and take responsibility for protecting God’s creation.
Fostering the Next Generation
Despite the small group size, the workshop’s focused format allowed for deep engagement, personalized attention, and meaningful bonding among the participants.
