KATICATANYA, HUNGARY — From July 22 to July 26, 2026, south-west Hungary played host to an uplifting five-day Hungarian Summer Children’s Camp at the scenic Katicatanya farm and experience park. Centered around the theme and camp song “Monarch Butterfly” and guided by the inspirational motto “May Heavenly Parent’s dream soar wing to wing,” the event brought together young participants, parents, and staff for a week of spiritual growth, team building, and outdoor joy.
Spiritual Guidance & Tailored Learning
Throughout the five-day program, the children engaged in a series of dynamic presentations and lectures crafted specifically for their age group. The educational content sought to nurture their spiritual development while keeping them energized and curious.
A highlight of the week was the dedicated Sunday Service, tailored to the children’s level of understanding. The service invited the participants to reflect on the camp’s core theme, helping them understand their role in Heavenly Parent’s vision and encouraging them to support one another like butterflies soaring together.

Outdoor Adventure & Community Bonding
The venue—a remote farm and interactive experience camp—provided the ideal setting for physical activity and outdoor exploration. Surrounded by nature, the Second Generation children participated in targeted team-building exercises designed to strengthen camaraderie, resilience, and cooperative problem-solving.
The presence of dedicated staff, supportive parents, and young family members created a warm, multi-generational community environment. Counting all attendees, 52 people shared in the meals, worship, and outdoor festivities, reinforcing bonds across the entire local community.
Looking Ahead
By the end of the camp on July 26, all 30 children successfully completed the program requirements, leaving Katicatanya with new friendships, memorable experience on the farm, and a deeper connection to their faith community. The camp concluded on a high note, leaving participants and staff inspired to carry the spirit of the “Monarch Butterfly” into the rest of the year.
