Immediately following this year’s annual children’s gathering, the picturesque municipality of Gaflenz hosted the 2026 HARP Workshop from July 18–24. Centered around the theme “Hunters of Truth,” the week-long event brought together 27 teenagers aged 12 to 17 and four team leaders for an intensive program focused on faith, authentic living, and personal growth.
This year marked a significant milestone for the workshop, welcoming participants from across national lines to foster a vibrant, international spirit.
Key Highlights
- Cross-Border Collaboration: For the first time, 10 participants from Germany joined the Austrian teenagers. This new dynamic gave the workshop an international flair, creating a unique environment for cross-border fellowship and international friendships.
- Theme in Action (“Hunters of Truth”): The core curriculum guided “HARPies” through practical ways to identify, embrace, and live out truth in their daily lives.
- Active Engagement & Faith: Teens were encouraged to ask honest questions, step out of their comfort zones, and discover how to share their faith authentically.
- Leadership & Personal Growth: Beyond theoretical discussions, youth were given tangible responsibilities designed to build confidence, resilience, and accountability.
