On July 23, 2026, FFWPU Palau and UPF Palau successfully conducted a Character Education and Pure Love Lecture at Mindszenty High School in Koror—a Catholic high school administered by the Roman Catholic Church. The program centered on the theme “Find Your Purpose, Change Your Life” and was attended by 30 freshmen students and 3 high school teachers.
Missionaries Arrival and Background
The Pinson family—Mr. Romel Pinson, Mrs. Judy Pinson, and their daughter, Ae Cheon Pinson—arrived in the Republic of Palau from the Philippines in May 2026. Sent as missionaries under the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) and the Universal Peace Federation (UPF), their goal is to promote character education, family values, and peace-building initiatives across the nation.
Program Highlights
The lecture encouraged students to:
- Discover their unique purpose in life.
- Develop strong moral character and make responsible decisions.
- Understand the value of purity, integrity, and healthy relationships.
The freshmen students actively participated throughout the session, showing great enthusiasm and interest during the discussions.
Key Support & Partnerships
This meaningful educational program was made possible through the generous support of the Head of the Catholic Nuns at the convent, who warmly welcomed the missionaries and facilitated communication with the school administration. Following a formal request, the Vice Principal, Mr. Cruz, provided strong support in coordinating the event and ensuring its smooth execution.
Looking Ahead
The success of this inaugural lecture has opened the door for future collaboration with Mindszenty High School. The missionary team plans to return in one to two months to deliver similar lectures to upperclassmen, continuing their mission to inspire young people toward strong character, responsible citizenship, and lasting peace.
