Respected and beloved blessed families around the world,
Leaders and members dedicating your utmost sincere devotion (jeongseong) for the Will of Heaven!
On this meaningful occasion of the Autumn Cheonbo Great Works, I am truly honored to extend my warmest greetings to you all. First and foremost, in these deeply challenging and solemn times, I offer my profound gratitude and respect to all our brothers and sisters across the globe who continue to invest their utmost devotion in their respective positions, steadfast in their unwavering faith and love toward Heavenly Parent and True Parents.
1. The Inauguration of Moon Shin-chul as Director-General of the International Headquarters and Moon Shin-heung as President of the Cheonshim Culture Center
Beloved members!
Above all else today, I wish to offer my deepest heart of gratitude to Heavenly Parent and True Parents. Even amidst arduous circumstances, True Mother has never paused for a single moment in preparing for the future. Through Her profound love and providential dispensation, She has appointed Missionary Moon Shin-chul as the Director-General of the International Headquarters and Missionary Moon Shin-heung as the President of the Cheonshim Culture Center.
I believe this appointment goes beyond merely entrusting two individuals with new responsibilities; it represents a providential launch toward the future that True Mother has long prepared. True Mother appointed them in conjunction with a fresh start toward the substantial Kingdom of Heaven on Earth, launched the Sunhak UPA to nurture the future generation, granted the new beginning as Cheonaechukseungja (Inheritors of Heaven’s Love and Blessing) last year, and has unceasingly prepared for the coming future up to this very day. Remembering Her boundless love and providential management deeply moves our hearts.
2. Realizing the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth Through Substantial Witnessing
Beloved members!
How long have we awaited this time? How earnestly have we longed for a future generation to rise up—inheriting the providential tradition that True Parents dedicated their entire lives to establish, and substantially fulfilling that Will within our daily lives? We now stand at a new starting point where we must realize that dream together. Of course, the reality before us is by no means easy. Above all, whenever we reflect on the trials True Mother is currently enduring, all our hearts ache with profound sorrow and concern.
Currently, International Headquarters Director-General Moon Shin-chul is dedicating his whole heart and sincere devotion to ensuring True Mother’s safety, protection, and Her swift, complete liberation and release. At the same time, he is deeply reflecting on and preparing how to build the future envisioned by True Mother and how to open a new era hand in hand with all members worldwide.
The Director-General is posing a truly fundamental question to us. What True Mother earnestly desires is substantial witnessing (jeondo). This does not merely mean increasing the number of converts or successfully hosting grand events. It means a single soul encountering True Parents and being transformed; a family growing into a family of true love; and such families coming together to build a community that brings genuine hope to the world.
3. The Model Figure: Children Who Resemble True Parents
Then, brothers and sisters!
Ten, twenty, or even decades from now, what will draw new people to our community? What will inspire them to want to know True Parents? Will it be magnificent church buildings? Or well-prepared educational curricula? While such external environments are certainly important, in the end, what truly touches human hearts is the living example and character of the people they meet there.
The living image of children who resemble True Parents!
People who genuinely love one another, embrace neighbors in need, and live for the sake of the world! When people encounter such individuals, families, and communities, they will naturally be moved to ask:
“How can they live like that?”
“Who are the True Parents they believe in and follow?”
When people are deeply moved by our way of life and long to know True Parents, discovering Heavenly Parent’s dream through our love—this is the very essence of the substantial witnessing (jeondo) we must realize.
This is precisely the future that the Director-General of the International Headquarters envisions. Building this future is neither the sole responsibility of the first generation nor the exclusive mission of the second generation; nor can it simply be left to the third and fourth generations. It requires the first, second, third, and fourth generations to learn from and love one another across generational divides, growing together into true children who resemble True Parents! When the dreams and passion of the future generations are built upon the sincere devotion (jeongseong) and dedication of the elder generation, and when all generations move forward together toward one singular dream—I firmly believe this is the start of the new era we must prepare and open together.
4. Heavenly Parent’s Dream Is Our Dream
Beloved members!
Today, in this place, I wish to share a precious message that True Mother once gave to the future generation. On June 27, 2020, True Mother met with UPA future leaders and gave that day a special name: Yume no Hi, the “Day of Dreams.”
On that day, True Mother spoke about Heavenly Parent’s dream, True Parents’ dream, and the dream that our blessed families and future generations must realize. Heavenly Parent’s dream is to build a peaceful Kingdom of Heaven on Earth where He can live eternally with His beloved children. That dream is True Parents’ dream, and it is the dream that all of us must realize together.
True Mother spoke to the youth gathered on that day:
“Individually, you may feel small and weak. However, if you become one and continue to grow significantly toward a single goal, you will without fail realize a unified Korea, Heavenly Parent’s dream, True Parents’ dream, and your dream!”
Whenever I reflect upon these words, I am filled with profound inspiration and hope. True Mother did not tell us that we could realize this dream because we were already perfected. Rather, She bestowed Her blessing upon us, saying that even though we are currently deficient and small, if we unite as one and continuously grow toward that shared goal, we will surely fulfill that dream. What True Mother looked upon was not our current shortcomings, but the magnificent future we will bring about by uniting and growing together.
Brothers and sisters!
What a message of tremendous hope this is! We are still lacking. There are still many areas where our church, our families, and we ourselves must continue to grow. At times, we hurt one another because of our mutual inadequacies, and we may feel disheartened before the harsh realities we face.
Yet, True Mother looked beyond our weaknesses and chose to see our potential first. She looked beyond how we appear today, gazing forward to the future that we will achieve by growing together as one.
That is why I am filled with conviction.
We are not devoid of hope simply because we are lacking.
Hope is lost only when we cease to unite and grow.
If we never give up on one another, if we learn together, love together, and grow together, Heavenly Parent’s dream will without fail be realized through us.
5. An International Headquarters Serving the Mission Field
Beloved members around the world!
I, too, walked the path of pastoral ministry for a long time in Japan alongside our youth, laughing and weeping together with members on the front lines of the church. More recently, while living alongside brothers and sisters gathered from various nations on the mission field in Canada, I came to realize anew the true essence of mission work.
In the end, mission work is about genuinely loving one single soul and taking shared responsibility for that person’s future. The steadfast love that believes in a person’s potential and walks with them to the end is what truly moves the human heart. Where such love endures, new life blossoms and the future generation flourishes.
The newly inaugurated International Headquarters aspires to serve the world’s mission fields with this very heart. Rather than functioning as an administrative body that stands above the front lines to give top-down directives, we will become an International Headquarters that ponders solutions together with and provides practical support to field pastors, missionaries, and blessed families so they may nurture hope and achieve growth.
However, this dream cannot be accomplished by the International Headquarters alone. Only when headquarters and the front lines unite as one, and when all generations trust and cooperate with each other, can we open a new future. And the central protagonists who will realize this dream are each and every one of you gathered here today.
6. Our Resolution
Beloved members!
I earnestly hope that this Autumn Cheonbo Great Works will not simply be a time where we receive grace and depart, but rather a meaningful turning point where each of us reclaims Heavenly Parent’s dream as our own and sets out with fresh determination to bring it to fruition.
No matter how great the tribulations before us may be, let us not fear. Even if we feel inadequate today, let us not be discouraged. The dream True Mother has planted in our hearts is far greater than the difficulties we currently face, and the future we will achieve together is vastly wider and more magnificent than the realities of today.
Let Heavenly Parent’s dream become my dream!
Let True Parents’ wish become our wish!
Let our small daily practices gather to form a boundless love that transforms the world!
Let the first and second generations join hands. Let us be the first to set the example of true love so that the third and fourth generations can carry on that dream. Rather than pointing out one another’s shortcomings, let us believe in and encourage each other’s potential. Rather than lingering in past hardships, let us advance vigorously toward the future True Mother has prepared for us.
In doing so, let us ensure that those who come to meet True Parents through us will one day confess from the bottom of their hearts:
“Through their love, I encountered True Parents.”
“Through their lives, I discovered Heavenly Parent’s dream.”
When our love and our lives bear living witness to True Parents and become a vibrant beacon of hope revealing Heavenly Parent’s dream to the world—will that not truly be the authentic “Day of Dreams” that True Mother envisioned for us?
Beloved members!
We can do it!
When we become one, we will surely grow!
When we grow together, we will surely open a new future!
And that future is not something anyone else can build for us.
It is the future that all of us here today will forge together!

존경하고 사랑하는 전 세계 축복가정 여러분,
그리고 하늘의 뜻을 위해 정성을 다하고 계시는 지도자와 식구 여러분!
오늘 이 뜻깊은 추계 천보대역사를 맞이하여, 여러분께 인사드리게 된 것을 진심으로 영광스럽게 생각합니다. 먼저, 참으로 어렵고 엄중한 이 시기에도 하늘부모님과 참부모님을 향한 변함없는 믿음과 사랑으로 각자의 자리에서 정성을 다하고 계시는 전 세계 식구 여러분께 깊은 감사와 존경의 말씀을 드립니다.
1. 문신출 세계본부장, 문신흥 천심문화원장 취임
사랑하는 식구 여러분!
저는 오늘 무엇보다도 하늘부모님과 참부모님께 깊은 감사의 마음을 올리고 싶습니다. 참어머님께서는 어려운 환경 속에서도 한순간도 미래를 향한 준비를 멈추지 않으셨습니다. 그리고 그 깊은 사랑과 섭리적 경륜 가운데 문신출 선교사님을 세계본부 본부장으로, 문신흥 선교사님을 천심문화원 원장으로 세워주셨습니다.
저는 이번 인사가 단순히 두 분에게 새로운 책임을 맡기는 차원을 넘어, 참어머님께서 오랫동안 준비해 오신 미래를 향한 섭리적 출발이라고 생각합니다. 실체적인 지상천국을 향한 새로운 출발과 함께 두 분을 세워주시고, 선문 UPA를 출범시켜 미래세대를 준비하셨던 참어머님! 그리고 지난해 천애축승자로서 새로운 출발을 이루게 하시고, 오늘에 이르기까지 다가올 미래를 위해 끊임없이 준비해 오신 참어머님의 사랑과 경륜을 깊이 되새겨 봅니다.
2. 실질적 전도를 통한 지상천국 실현
사랑하는 식구 여러분!
우리는 이때를 얼마나 기다려 왔습니까? 참부모님께서 평생을 바쳐 세우신 섭리의 전통을 상속받고, 그 뜻을 우리의 삶 속에서 실체적으로 이루어 갈 미래세대가 일어나기를 얼마나 간절히 소망해 왔습니까? 이제 우리는 그 꿈을 함께 이루어 가야 할 새로운 출발점에 서 있습니다. 물론 지금 우리 앞에 놓인 현실은 결코 쉽지 않습니다. 무엇보다도 참어머님께서 겪고 계시는 어려움을 생각할 때마다 우리 모두의 마음은 무겁고 아픕니다.
현재 문신출 세계본부장님께서는 참어머님의 안위와 보호, 그리고 하루속히 완전한 자유와 해방을 이루어 드리기 위한 일에 온 마음과 정성을 집중하고 계십니다. 동시에 참어머님께서 바라시는 미래를 어떻게 준비하고, 세계의 모든 식구들과 함께 어떻게 새로운 시대를 열어 갈 것인가를 깊이 고민하며 준비하고 계십니다.
세계본부장님께서는 우리에게 매우 본질적인 질문을 던지고 계십니다. 참어머님께서 간절히 바라시는 것은 바로 실질적인 전도입니다. 그것은 단순히 전도의 숫자를 늘리거나 큰 행사를 성공적으로 개최하는 것만을 의미하지 않습니다. 한 사람의 생명이 참부모님을 만나 변화되고, 한 가정이 참사랑의 가정으로 성장하며, 그러한 가정들이 모여 세상에 희망을 주는 공동체를 이루어 가는 것입니다.
3. 인재상: 참부모님을 닮은 자녀
그렇다면 여러분!
10년 후, 20년 후, 아니 수십 년 후에 새롭게 우리 공동체를 찾아오는 사람들은 과연 무엇을 보고 찾아오게 될까요? 그들은 무엇에 감동하여 참부모님을 알고 싶어 하게 될까요? 훌륭한 교회 건물 때문일까요? 잘 준비된 교육 프로그램 때문일까요? 물론 그러한 환경도 중요합니다. 그러나 결국 사람들의 마음을 움직이는 것은, 그곳에서 만나는 사람들의 모습이 아닐까요?
참부모님을 닮은 자녀들의 모습!
서로를 진심으로 사랑하고, 어려운 이웃을 품어 주며, 세상을 위해 살아가는 사람들의 모습! 그러한 사람들과 가정, 그리고 공동체를 만났을 때 사람들은 자연스럽게 묻게 될 것입니다.
“저 사람들은 어떻게 저렇게 살아갈 수 있을까?”
“저들이 믿고 따르는 참부모님은 어떤 분이실까?”
사람들이 우리의 삶에 감동하여 참부모님을 알고 싶어 하고, 우리의 사랑을 통해 하늘부모님의 꿈을 발견하게 하는 것! 바로 이것이 우리가 이루어 가야 할 실질적인 전도의 모습이라고 생각합니다.
세계본부장님께서는 바로 이러한 미래를 바라보고 계십니다. 이 미래는 1세만의 책임도, 2세만의 사명도 아니며, 3세와 4세에게만 맡겨 둘 수도 없습니다. 1세와 2세, 3세와 4세가 세대를 넘어 서로 배우고 사랑하며, 함께 참부모님을 닮은 참된 자녀로 성장해 가는 것! 선배 세대의 정성과 헌신 위에 미래세대의 꿈과 열정이 더해지고, 모든 세대가 하나의 꿈을 향해 함께 나아가는 것! 저는 이것이 우리가 함께 준비하고 열어 가야 할 새로운 시대의 출발이라고 믿습니다.
4. 하늘부모님의 꿈은 우리의 꿈
사랑하는 식구 여러분!
저는 오늘 이 자리에서 참어머님께서 미래세대에게 주셨던 귀한 말씀을 함께 나누고 싶습니다. 2020년 6월 27일, 참어머님께서는 UPA 미래지도자들을 만나시고 그날을 특별한 이름으로 불러 주셨습니다. 바로 ‘유메노 히’, 꿈의 날이었습니다.
그날 참어머님께서는 하늘부모님의 꿈이 무엇인지, 참부모님의 꿈이 무엇인지, 그리고 우리 축복가정과 미래세대가 이루어야 할 꿈이 무엇인지를 말씀해 주셨습니다. 하늘부모님의 꿈은 사랑하는 자녀들과 함께 영원히 살아가는 평화로운 지상천국을 이루는 것입니다. 그리고 그 꿈은 참부모님의 꿈이며, 우리 모두가 함께 이루어야 할 꿈입니다.
참어머님께서는 그 자리에 모인 젊은이들에게 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다.
“여러분 개개인은 미약하지만 여러분이 하나가 되어서 한 목표를 향해서 계속 크게 성장하여 나간다면 반드시 통일한국, 하늘부모님의 꿈, 참부모의 꿈 여러분의 꿈이 이루어집니다!”
저는 이 말씀을 되새길 때마다 깊은 감동과 희망을 느낍니다. 참어머님께서는 우리가 이미 완성된 존재이기 때문에 꿈을 이룰 수 있다고 말씀하신 것이 아닙니다. 지금은 비록 부족하고 미약할지라도, 서로 하나 되어 같은 목표를 향해 끊임없이 성장해 나간다면 반드시 그 꿈을 이룰 수 있다고 축복해 주신 것입니다. 참어머님께서 바라보신 것은 오늘 우리의 부족한 모습이 아니라, 하나 되어 함께 성장함으로써 이루어 갈 위대한 미래였습니다.
여러분!
이것이 얼마나 큰 희망의 말씀입니까? 우리는 아직 부족합니다. 우리의 교회도, 우리의 가정도, 우리 자신도 아직 성장해야 할 부분이 많이 있습니다. 때로는 서로의 부족함 때문에 상처를 주고받기도 하고, 현실의 어려움 앞에서 낙심하기도 합니다.
그러나 참어머님께서는 우리의 부족함보다 우리의 가능성을 먼저 바라보셨습니다.
오늘의 모습만이 아니라, 우리가 함께 성장하여 이루어 낼 미래를 바라보셨습니다.
그렇기 때문에 저는 확신합니다.
우리가 부족하기 때문에 희망이 없는 것이 아닙니다.
우리가 하나 되어 성장하기를 멈출 때, 비로소 희망을 잃는 것입니다.
우리가 서로를 포기하지 않고, 함께 배우고, 함께 사랑하고, 함께 성장한다면 하늘부모님의 꿈은 반드시 우리를 통해 실현될 것입니다.
5. 선교 현장을 섬기는 세계본부
사랑하는 전 세계 식구 여러분!
저 역시 일본에서 오랫동안 청년들과 함께하고, 교회 현장에서 식구들과 울고 웃으며 목회의 길을 걸어왔습니다. 최근에는 캐나다의 선교 현장에서 여러 나라에서 모인 형제자매들과 함께 생활하며, 선교의 본질에 대해 다시 한번 깊이 깨닫게 되었습니다.
선교란 결국 한 사람을 진심으로 사랑하고, 그 사람의 미래를 함께 책임지는 일입니다. 한 사람의 가능성을 믿고 끝까지 함께 걸어가는 사랑이 사람의 마음을 움직이고, 그러한 사랑이 이어지는 곳에서 새로운 생명이 자라나며 미래세대가 성장합니다.
새롭게 출발한 세계본부도 바로 이러한 마음으로 세계의 선교 현장을 섬기고자 합니다. 세계본부가 현장 위에 서서 일방적으로 이끄는 조직이 아니라, 현장의 목회자와 선교사, 축복가정들이 희망을 품고 성장할 수 있도록 함께 고민하고 실질적으로 지원하는 세계본부가 되겠습니다.
그러나 이 꿈은 세계본부만의 힘으로 이룰 수 없습니다. 세계본부와 현장이 하나 되고, 모든 세대가 서로를 믿고 협력할 때 비로소 새로운 미래를 열어 갈 수 있습니다. 그리고 그 꿈을 이루어 갈 주인공은 바로 이 자리에 계신 여러분 한 분 한 분입니다.
6. 우리의 결의
사랑하는 식구 여러분!
오늘 이 추계 천보대역사가 단순히 은혜를 받고 돌아가는 시간이 아니라, 우리 모두가 하늘부모님의 꿈을 다시금 자신의 꿈으로 품고, 그 꿈을 실현하기 위해 새로운 결의로 출발하는 뜻깊은 전환점이 되기를 간절히 소망합니다.
우리 앞에 아무리 큰 어려움이 놓여 있더라도 두려워하지 맙시다. 오늘 우리의 모습이 아직 부족하다고 해서 낙심하지도 맙시다. 참어머님께서 우리에게 심어 주신 꿈은 지금 우리가 마주한 어려움보다 훨씬 크고, 우리가 함께 이루어 갈 미래는 오늘의 현실을 넘어 더 넓고 위대하기 때문입니다.
하늘부모님의 꿈이 나의 꿈이 되고,
참부모님의 소원이 우리의 소원이 되며,
우리의 작은 실천이 모여 세상을 변화시키는 큰 사랑이 되게 합시다!
1세와 2세가 함께 손을 맞잡읍시다. 3세와 4세가 그 꿈을 이어 갈 수 있도록 우리가 먼저 참사랑의 본을 보입시다. 서로의 부족함을 탓하기보다 서로의 가능성을 믿고 격려하며, 과거의 어려움에 머물기보다 참어머님께서 준비하신 미래를 향해 함께 힘차게 나아갑시다. 그리하여 언젠가 우리를 통해 새롭게 참부모님을 만난 사람들이 진심으로 이렇게 고백할 수 있도록 합시다.
“저들의 사랑을 통해 참부모님을 만났습니다.”
“저들의 삶을 통해 하늘부모님의 꿈을 발견했습니다.”
그리하여 우리의 사랑과 삶이 참부모님을 증거하고, 하늘부모님의 꿈을 세상에 드러내는 살아 있는 희망이 되는 날, 그날이야말로 참어머님께서 우리에게 보여 주신 진정한 꿈의 날이 아닐까요?
사랑하는 식구 여러분!
우리는 할 수 있습니다!
우리가 하나 되면 반드시 성장할 수 있습니다!
우리가 함께 성장하면 반드시 새로운 미래를 열 수 있습니다!
그리고 그 미래는 누군가가 대신 만들어 주는 미래가 아닙니다.
바로 오늘, 이 자리에 있는 우리 모두가 함께 만들어 가는 미래입니다!
하늘부모님의 꿈을 나의 꿈으로!
참부모님의 꿈을 우리의 꿈으로!
참어머님을 중심으로 세계의 모든 축복가정이 하나 되어, 새로운 희망과 사랑의 시대를 힘차게 열어 갑시다!
하늘부모님과 참부모님의 크신 사랑과 축복이 전 세계 모든 축복가정과 식구 여러분의 가정 위에 충만하시기를 진심으로 기원합니다.
