From July 18 to July 25, the Czech Republic hosted the annual CHARP Children’s Workshop, bringing together youth, staff, and volunteers for an immersive week centered on the theme “The NeverEnding Story,” inspired by the famous classic book.
The workshop welcomed 20 children aged 5 to 12, engaging them in a high-energy program designed to spark creativity, physical activity, and personal growth. Throughout the week, participants enjoyed a wide range of activities, including team-building challenges, sports, creative arts, games, and worship sessions.
Fostering Community and Connections
A total of 32 participants—including dedicated staff and volunteers—helped cultivate a warm, supportive, and inclusive atmosphere.
- Cross-Border Reach: The majority of attendees were second-generation children from the local community as well as neighboring Slovakia.
- New Relationships: The workshop extended its reach by welcoming five first-time participants invited as school friends, offering them an uplifting introduction to the CHARP community.
