On Sunday, June 7, 2026, members of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) of Kinshasa gathered for their weekly Sunday service in an atmosphere filled with spirituality, meditation, and inner renewal. This celebration brought together a total of 767 participants who came to renew their commitment of faith and deepen their relationship with Heavenly Parent through listening to the word, prayer, and collective worship.
The main message was delivered by Reverend RANG WAN LUBAKA, National Leader of FFWPU-DRC, on the theme: “Renewal Through Sanctification and Purification.” In his teaching, he reminded the congregation that true change in a believer’s life cannot be achieved through external efforts alone, but must begin with a profound transformation of the heart. Drawing on the teachings of the True Parents, he explained that repentance is the first step in returning to Heavenly Parent, allowing everyone to recognize their shortcomings and realign their lives with heavenly principles.
Reverend RANG WAN LUBAKA also emphasized that sanctification represents the process by which believers consecrate their lives to God and voluntarily choose to live according to His will. As for purification, it was presented as an ongoing process to break free from habits, thoughts, and behaviors that distance human beings from their original ideal. He insisted that sanctification and purification are not one-time events but lifestyles that must be nurtured daily through prayer, the study of divine words, and the constant practice of heavenly traditions.
A Call to Reflection and Deep Prayer
The message deeply touched the participants, inviting them to examine their personal, family, and community lives in the light of the teachings received. Many members expressed their gratitude for this spiritual reminder, which encourages them to become models of faith and actors of spiritual renewal within their families and Congolese society.
At the conclusion of the sermon, the congregation observed an important moment of prayer, repentance, and worship. Together, members lifted their hearts to Heavenly Parent in a spirit of humility and gratitude, renewing their determination to follow the path of sanctification and to support the providence led by Holy Mother Han. This spiritual sequence created an atmosphere of great communion, allowing everyone to more deeply feel the presence and love of Heavenly Parent.
Key Highlights and Powerful Blessings
One of the most memorable moments of this celebration was the closing prayer offered by Reverend Jean-Pierre KADIMA, Continental Director. In a particularly profound and inspiring intervention, marked by a strong spiritual vibration, he invoked the grace of Heavenly Parent upon all participants, their families, and the entire Congolese nation. He prayed that Heavenly Parent would grant everyone the strength needed to live a life of authentic sanctification, to overcome daily spiritual and material challenges, and to remain firmly attached to the teachings and tradition of the True Parents.
Reverend Jean-Pierre KADIMA also asked that Heavenly Parent abundantly pour out His blessings upon the blessed families, church officials, community leaders, and all local churches across the country. He implored divine protection over the Democratic Republic of the Congo, praying that the nation might become a model of peace, reconciliation, prosperity, and moral values founded on true love. His prayer, delivered with conviction and depth, stirred deep emotion within the assembly and served as a major highlight of the celebration.
