IAYSP Peru organized the “Misti Sebiokk Drawing and Painting Contest” promoting and supporting the reunification of Korean Peninsula.
This event was held in partnership with the municipality of Miraflores in the city of Arequipa, at the Mayta Capac square. All the participants were inspired by nature and were able to make the drawings in a warm beautiful weather.
More than 240 drawings were received. 450 people were present, including the participants. The event was also broadcasted live on Facebook, reaching 500 people. The mayor of the city showed his support for True Parents’ vision for the peaceful unification of Korea. The citizens shared great moments allowing the culture of the heart to expand.
Prizes were awarded to the top 10 places inspired by those who could continue with art.
Divine Principle Workshop
CARP and FFWPU Peru conducted two 7-day seminars for young people from July 25 to 31 and from August 1 to 7, 2022 in two different locations. Participants from the north of the country traveled to Lima, and the other participants from the south traveled to the city of Arequipa.
A total of 50 young people participated. The words of truth and True Parents teaching, with the all the participants and young people were reborn accepting True Parents and signing the membership paper.
Participants shared their beautiful testimonies at the end of the workshop encouraging us to hold more workshops and let people to know the word of truth for this age by our beloved True Parents.
