On April 18-19, 2026, we humbly hosted the Hyo Jeong Cheonbo Special Philippines Event at the beautiful Cauayan Family Church in Cauayan City, Isabela. We express our deepest gratitude for the divine presence that graced us throughout the gathering and for the unwavering support of our esteemed leaders from the Cheonbo Asia Pacific Branch, particularly President In Cheon Kim, alongside our dedicated Regional Director, Rev. Ronnie Sodusta. Our heartfelt appreciation extends to every beloved participant, both onsite and through virtual engagement, whose collective energy and enthusiastic spirit elevated this sacred occasion.
Day 1: Afternoon Session
As early as 10 a.m., the registration table started to welcome participating members for the afternoon session. Smoothly, the chapel is filled with many participants from across the region who came together with their families to participate in this spiritual occasion.
As the warm sunlight streamed into the venue, the first day of the event was marked by vibrant energy and enthusiasm from a diverse array of attendees. Individuals traveled from various localities, including Cauayan City itself, the Calma-Taguinod tribe, Angadanan, Echague, Nueva Vizcaya, Cagayan Province, Ifugao, and neighboring municipalities. Additionally, many participants joined the event remotely from far-flung areas, highlighting the widespread commitment to shared spiritual growth.
The opening of the event was graced by an uplifting prayer led by Rev. Rene Lansangan. As the Area Director for Northern Luzon and Head Pastor of FFWPU Region 2, Rev. Lansangan’s words set a serene and contemplative tone for the gathering. He encouraged attendees to create an atmosphere of reflection and connection as they embarked on this important spiritual journey together.
Following the prayer, the Regional Director, Rev. Ronnie Sodusta, stepped onto the stage to deliver a heartfelt message that resonated deeply within the hearts of all present. His words emphasized the importance of unity, compassion, and dedication to the teachings of True Parents, inspiring attendees to actively engage in their spiritual disciplines as a way to safeguard their spiritual connection to the church and True Parents, no matter what challenges they are dealing with.
The first Chanyang Yeoksa session, which emphasized the potent elimination of harmful spirits, was vibrantly led by the talented Blessed Children Chanyang Team. Their dedication and enthusiasm filled the room, creating a powerful atmosphere that allowed attendees to focus fully on the process of spiritual liberation.
A highlight of the day was a profound lecture delivered by Dr. In Cheon Kim, who serves as the President of the Cheon Bo Asia Pacific Branch. His talk was not only enlightening but also deeply inspiring, as he shared an interpretation of True Mother’s vision. Dr. Kim expressed profound gratitude for the commitment displayed by everyone and articulated the critical importance of Ancestor Liberation, especially for many who were participating for the very first time. His insights provided a deeper understanding of the spiritual journey ahead, encouraging attendees to embrace the process with open hearts and minds.
The event was a beautiful blend of spiritual upliftment, community connection, and the deepening of understanding related to the principles of Ancestor Liberation and healing, setting a strong foundation for the days to come.
Day 2: Ancestor Liberation and Blessing Ceremony
The second day of our gathering emerged as the most profound and impactful, as we prepared ourselves on physical, spiritual, and emotional levels for the highly revered Ancestor Liberation ceremony. This day began with the spirited organization of attendees, who were buzzing with anticipation for the sacred rituals ahead. Led by the compassionate Pastor Mila Fragata, the session commenced in an atmosphere brimming with reverence and solemnity.
We took a moment to quiet our minds and engage in a heartfelt prayer and reflection. The soft lighting and gentle ambiance created a sense of inner peace, setting the tone for what was about to unfold. Pastor Mark Portabes stepped forward to lead us in another deeply resonant prayer that helped anchor our hearts and minds in the significance of the day’s events.
Rev. Ronnie Sodusta, the Regional Director of the FFWPU Philippines, delivered a profound special message entitled “Way Back Home” that resonated deeply with the audience. His captivating insights shed light on the significance of ancestor liberation, emphasizing its importance not only for personal healing but also for the collective restoration of families and communities. Through thoughtful examples and compelling narratives, he illustrated how addressing ancestral burdens can lead to transformative healing processes, fostering a sense of unity and understanding among individuals. His words encouraged attendees to reflect on their own familial histories and to recognize the interconnectedness of their journeys with those of their ancestors, ultimately inspiring a movement toward healing and reconciliation within their communities.
As we transitioned into the Chanyang Yeoksa, the energy in the room was palpable. Participants joined in unison, chanting rhythmically as we sought to cleanse and prepare our spirits for the sacred Ancestor Liberation ceremony that awaited us. The air was thick with anticipation, and by the end of this transformative experience, we were primed for the blessings that were to come. Afterward, we gathered as one large community, joyfully embracing the opportunity for a group photo to commemorate the liberation of our ancestors, a moment filled with elation, connection, and pride in our heritage.
After a short break, Dr. In Cheon Kim took the stage, captivating the audience with his commanding presence as he prepared to deliver an inspiring lecture. His focus was on the profound significance of liberating our ancestors, framed within the current divine providence. With eloquence and passion, he emphasized the remarkable impact this ancestral liberation has on our lives today.
Dr. Kim shared compelling stories that demonstrated how honoring our ancestral lineage has led to tangible blessings for many. His insights were more than theoretical; they painted an inspiring picture that resonated deeply with everyone in attendance. As he spoke, the weight of his words urged us to embrace and acknowledge our roots as an essential part of our spiritual journey, highlighting that understanding our origins is vital for both personal and communal growth.
After lunch, we gathered for the highly anticipated Ancestor Blessing Ceremony, which was reserved for those who had prepared and applied for this sacred experience. Rev. Rene Lansangan and his wife, Mrs. Lorna Lansangan, officiated the ceremony. Their warmth and guidance fostered an environment filled with love and support. Couples stood before them, eager and hopeful, as they received blessings on behalf of their ancestors, which led them to enhance their lives and the lives of their families with the presence of their blessed ancestors.
As the clock struck 3:00 p.m., we gently brought the event to a close, filled with an overwhelming sense of joy, fulfillment, and spiritual upliftment. The HJ Asia Pacific CheonBo Works had successfully concluded, and the atmosphere was charged with a deep sense of community and connection. Each attendee left with renewed hearts and invigorated spirits, reflecting on the shared experiences that had woven us together.
Throughout the gathering, we engaged in meaningful rituals, facilitating the liberation of our ancestors. This process not only honored our heritage but also fostered a sense of healing and reconciliation for many in attendance. The air was thick with emotion as we shared our stories, each narrative adding layers to our collective understanding of where we come from.
As we departed from this sacred space, we carried with us the blessings and warmth that enveloped us during the event.
