On May 10, 2026, at the HJ Cheonbo Training Center in Pak Chong, Thailand, the Appointment Ceremony of the Heavenly Top Gun Asia Pacific 2nd Batch was held as Part II of the joint program with the Cheonbo Workshop.

Eleven Pure Water Youth from five nations across Asia Pacific were officially appointed as Heavenly Top Gun missionaries, with eight participants attending onsite and three joining through Zoom.

The program began with an opening message from Dr. Julius Malicdem, Vice Continental Director of FFWPU Heavenly Asia Pacific,  who emphasized that the young people are all called to support the Providence centering on True Mother and to inherit the heart, tradition, and mission of Heaven in this important time.

A keynote video message from True Mother emphasized the history of missionary work from the early days of the church until today, calling the younger generation the “Pure Waters” and the Heavenly Top Gun of this era.

Special remarks were also delivered by Rev. Yutaka Yamada, Continental Director of FFWPU Heavenly Asia Pacific,  offering guidance and encouragement to the newly appointed missionaries. He shared that they are the hope of the Providence as envisioned by True Mother and encouraged them to live in complete resonance with True Parents as representatives of the future generation and leaders of Heaven’s providence.

The ceremony featured a video presentation of the HTG Asia Pacific 1st Batch journey, followed by a report from Rev. Ninoy M. Avila, Director of Future Generation Department Asia Pacific, and heartfelt testimonies from first batch missionaries Somruetai Setthakitcharoen of Thailand and Queen Shine Demasis of the Philippines.

The highlight of the event was the official appointment ceremony, including the pinning of the HTG badge, the bestowal of the Death Valley Holy Salt Necklace, and the Resolution Dedication.

The program concluded with the singing of the “Fight Song of the Will” and victorious cheers of Eog Mansei, as the newly appointed Heavenly Top Gun missionaries pledged their determination to advance God’s providence throughout the Asia Pacific region.

HJ TESTIMONY

My name is Somruethai Setthakitcharoen. I am a first-generation member, and I joined the HTG 1st Batch.

Today, I would like to share my testimony about my one-year HTG missionary mission. At first, I could not imagine why I was chosen to become a missionary in the Philippines. I had many worries, especially about communication. I felt that speaking English was very difficult for me because I was not confident in my English skills. I kept asking myself, “Will I really be able to witness to people?” This was one of the biggest concerns in my heart at the beginning of my mission.

However, I am very grateful that I was not walking alone. I had the opportunity to work together with my team, Joyce and Marvin. We worked well together and always supported one another. Even during difficult times, we encouraged each other and grew together.

When we went on our mission in Cauayan, Isabela, we met many full-time members, leaders, and blessed families there. We witnessed to people, attended Sunday services, visited blessed families, and carried out HTM activities together. They warmly welcomed and supported our team. I sincerely appreciate them because they made me feel like I was part of one family.

For me, this mission was not only about fulfilling the responsibility of a missionary, but it was also a precious time of growth in faith, in attending True Parents, and in developing a heart to serve others.

One unforgettable memory for me is the love of the Filipino people. Everyone was kind, supportive, and cared for us like family. Through them, I received love, warmth, and many valuable experiences.

I learned that even when we feel afraid or unprepared, if we step forward with faith, God will always send good people to help and walk alongside us.

I am deeply grateful to Heavenly Parent for guiding me to become a missionary. I am also thankful to all the HTG missionaries and Filipino leaders for their love and support.

Lastly, I would like to encourage the HTG 2nd Batch. I hope all of you will enjoy every moment and not worry too much, because this may become a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Do your best and treasure everything with a grateful heart.

Thank you very much.
