From August 10 to 16, youth and leaders gathered under warm summer skies for the annual Hungarian HARP workshop, embarking on a deeply transformative retreat under the evocative theme “Road to Growth.” Throughout the week, the workshop served as a vibrant sanctuary of spiritual devotion, intellectual exploration, and heartistic bonding, encouraging every participant to reflect on the deeper dimensions of their personal faith journey.
The spiritual narrative unfolded seamlessly across the week. Participants began their journey on the first full day by contemplating the beauty, purpose, and design of Creation. This inspiring opening laid a solid foundation for the second day, which invited a thoughtful and deep examination of the Fall of Man. The internal momentum built directly into the third day’s Challenge Day, pushing participants out of their comfort zones through shared trials that forged lasting unity and resilience. On the fourth day, the center of focus shifted to the profound life, sacrifice, and grace of Jesus. That evening, the spiritual intensity reached its peak during a dedicated CheonBo Activity. The room resonated with collective devotion through energized Chanyang, earnest Cheon Shim Won Resonance Prayer, and 120 chanting focused on the release of Holy Mother Han.
On the fifth and final full day, the community gathered to focus on True Parents. Participants took time to honor the severe hardships, constant trials, and immense effort that Sun Myung Moon and Hak Ja Han Moon endured throughout their lives. Understanding the staggering cost paid to build the foundations that made such a workshop possible filled the room with overwhelming gratitude and reverence.
The week reached its culmination on Sunday morning with an interactive Sunday Service titled “Road to Growth.” Attendees explored the lifelong nature of personal and spiritual maturation, discussing how dramatically a person grows throughout their lifetime and recognizing how much there still remains to learn. As the gathering came to an end, participants departed for their home communities with renewed conviction, carrying hearts rich with unforgettable memories shared with Heavenly Parent and with one another.
