On August 30, 2026, 133 participants—93 in person and 40 online—gathered to commemorate the 14th anniversary of True Father’s Seonghwa Ceremony. The event took place in an atmosphere of deep respect, gratitude, and reflection on the life and legacy of the True Parents.
The ceremony opened with remarks by Mr. Bernardo Cruz Peralta, Regional Director and National Leader of the Dominican Republic. He highlighted True Father’s extraordinary life of devotion, sacrifice, and unblemished character. Encouraging members to practice true filial piety, Mr. Peralta called on the community to remain deeply united with True Mother and embody the path of love and faithfulness modeled by the True Parents.
Testimonies and Floral Offerings
Several elder members shared personal memories and testimonies, offering participants—especially younger generations—a more intimate perspective on True Father’s life, character, and teachings. Following the testimonies, attendees presented white flowers during a reverent floral offering ceremony, expressing love and gratitude for True Father’s lifelong commitment to peace and God’s will.
Reflection and Renewal
The commemoration provided a meaningful opportunity for members to reflect on the love and sacrifices of the True Parents. Moving forward with a renewed commitment, participants resolved to embody True Father’s teachings through service, filial piety, and a transparent life dedicated to God, family, and humanity.
