A week after victoriously celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Holy Ascension of Our True Father, Congo Brazzaville organized its 7th edition of the Peace Road 2022 on Sunday August 21, 2022 in the city of Pointe-Noire under the theme: “ The establishment of the Heavenly Congo in Unity and Peace”.
It was at 8:30 a.m. that the program began with the performance of the national anthem and that of UPF on the one hand and on the other hand the prayers of peace of the representative of Islam as well as that of the National Leader, the Rev. Norbert Ndielle Moutsatsi.
The starting point of the march relating to this 7th edition of the peace road was the Loandjili roundabout, a roundabout of unity and history where the gathered participants attended and accompanied His Excellency Alexandre Honoré PAKA, Prefect of the Department of Pointe-Noire at the laying of the wreath in front of the stele of the Honorable Jean-Félix TCHICAYA, first Congolese parliamentarian. A minute of silence was marked and a pious thought expressed in memory of Our True Father, Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon, pioneer of peace and unification.
In his welcome address, the Administrator Mayor of District 4 Loandjili Mr Zéphirin NGUIE expressed on behalf of his population, his gratitude to the UPF, for the works of peace that it advocates because without peace, social cohesion and living together are not possible.
The Departmental Chairman of UPF Pointe-Noire and Kouilou, His Excellency Michel BOUNDA in his word of circumstance shared the new paradigm advocated by the True Mother, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon namely “governance centered on God” with for leit motiv interdependence, mutual prosperity and shared universal values. He fraternally invited leaders from all sides to adhere to this new paradigm in order to establish the Heavenly Congo. He exhorted each of the participants while outlining the steps to repeat within themselves “I am a partisan of peace. I must contribute to the establishment of the Heavenly Congo in unity and peace”. Finally, a respectful tribute was paid to the Mother of Peace who with dexterity continues successfully the work of peace of the True Father.
The release of seven (7) doves by the officials and the kick-off by the Prefect of the march of the 7th edition of the peace road, a sporting event which brought together nearly 537 people from all walks of the city of Pointe-Noire. On a course of about 7km from the Loandjili roundabout, Pointe-Noire sports complex, party box, Republic roundabout, Peace roundabout to the prefecture drop-off point. After 1 hour 21 minutes, the pilgrims reached the headquarters of the prefecture for another highlight, that of pleas in favor of a world without conflict and the presentation of distinctions on the peace road, including the banners. Thus the National Secretary General of the FPU, Mr Clément TSANA thanked all the authorities present and explained in detail the initiative of the peace road proposed by the Rev. Dr Sun Myung Moon in 1981. He also underlined that the peace road makes it possible to sensitize on the importance of forming true peace-loving citizens of the world through education in the culture of peace in order to establish the Heavenly Congo under the governance of God, the author of Peace.
The Congolese Federation Tong Il Moo Do amazed the crowd with its beautiful demonstrations. In turn, the Prefect of Pointe-Noire declared: “this is why the True Mother, Dr. Hak Ja Han Mon calls with all her wishes for inclusive governance centered on God for the realization of lasting peace of nations through the through education for a culture of peace, love of neighbor, equitable distribution of resources and living together. This is what the establishment of the Heavenly Congo is aiming for, and the adhesion of all leaders of all persuasions is more than requested, while banishing ethnic, religious, racial and political divisions. He ended his remarks as follows: “Thus, to allow the other departments of our country to benefit from the education in the culture of peace advocated by the UPF, the Peace Road activity has become as of today a rotating activity in our country, like the Olympic Games torch that circulates in each host country. And, the 8th edition will be organized by the Cuvette Department and the peace road 2023 banner will be sent to the Prefect of the said Department.
The event will continue with the presentation of distinctions from the peace road, including the banners. This reunion was crowned by the signing of the course and the presentation of special trophies to two great actors working in the field of peace, namely the True Mother of Peace, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, Co-founder of the UPF and His Excellency Mr. SASSOU NGUESSO, President of the Republic of Congo, trophies received respectively by the National Leader and the Prefect.
