Phnom Penh, Cambodia: On June 22, 2026, FFWPU Cambodia gathered its national leadership in Phnom Penh for a comprehensive, full-day Mid-Year Review and Leadership Retreat. The gathering served not only to celebrate recent milestones but to honestly evaluate current progress and prepare to meet the second half of 2026 with heightened clarity, accountability, and resolve.
Key Objectives
- Performance Evaluation: Conduct a thorough mid-year review of FFWPU Cambodia’s operational performance.
- Strategic Adjustment: Identify critical organizational adjustments required for a strong second half of 2026.
- Capacity Building: Strengthen leadership capabilities through focused training and peer-to-peer learning.
- Youth Guidance: Help students and second-generation members recognize their inherent value, develop a personal understanding of faith, and embrace their responsibilities as future leaders.
Leadership Review and Accountability
National and regional leaders evaluated first-half performance across four core pillars:
- Membership and Witnessing
- Financial Standing
- Media and Public Relations
- Blessed Family Development
Moving beyond mere statistics, the heart of the retreat centered on candid, transparent dialogue. Every leader was invited to speak openly about operational successes, systemic challenges, and root causes.
This collective honesty paved the way for renewed strategic direction. The session concluded with revised targets, the establishment of accountability pairs, and realigned resources. Before the final prayer, each leader made a public pledge, offering specific, dated, and witnessed commitments to carry the mission forward effectively.

Second Generation Youth Workshop
The following day, the focus shifted toward investing in the community’s youth. A special 1-Day Second Generation Workshop gathered young members aged 11 to 15, centering on three essential themes:
- Identity and Leadership: Encouraging youth to understand their unique value and potential as future leaders.
- Faith in Daily Life: Providing practical guidance on how personal faith and moral choices apply to everyday scenarios.
- Foundations of Blessing: Exploring what it means to build relationships grounded in strong character, mutual care, and intentional preparation.
Rather than presenting these topics as abstract ideals, the workshop offered them as a living inheritance of Heavenly Parent’s blessing, guiding participants to see how their daily choices actively shape the world around them.
Conclusion
At the midpoint of 2026, FFWPU Cambodia stands as a resilient community committed to rigorous self-evaluation, leadership accountability, and dedicated investment in the generation that will carry this mission into the future.
