A Letter from Moon Shin-heung, Inheritor of Heaven’s Love and Blessing, Read at the 14th Anniversary of the Holy Ascension of Sun Myung Moon, True Parents of Heaven, Earth, and Humankind: Cheonsimwon Night Vigil Prayer, held on August 30, 2026, at the Main Hall of the CheonBo Training Center.
To Beloved True Parents, and to my deeply loved and longed-for True Father,
True Father, with a humble and earnest heart before Heaven, I greet this day today.
Fourteen years have already passed since you ascended to the heavenly realm.
Throughout your life, True Father, you never lived for yourself. You gave your all for the liberation of Heavenly Parent and the salvation of humanity.
From the day you met Jesus at age sixteen and realized the sorrowful heart of Heavenly Parent wandering in search of Lost Children, you dedicated your entire life with a determination to fulfill Heavenly Parent’s dream, regardless of any hardship or suffering.
If your tears could comfort Heaven, and if Heavenly Parent could find hope for the future, yours was the life of a true saint who willingly walked any thorny path.
You traveled to the remote regions of Africa and South America for the hungry; you met President Gorbachev of the Soviet Union for world peace; and for peace in our divided homeland, you traveled to North Korea and sat face-to-face with Chairman Kim Il Sung.
Transcending the barriers of religion, race, nation, and ideology, you dreamed of the day when all humanity would attend Heavenly Parent and live as one family. Until your final moment, you burned your own life to enlighten the world.
Beloved True Father,
As she bade you farewell, True Mother pledged that she would complete Cheon Il Guk until the end of her life. Holding fast to Heavenly Parent’s Will that she shared with you, True Mother has walked tirelessly over the past 14 years.
Along that path, she restored the status of Heavenly Mother, dedicated Cheon Won Gung Cheon Il Seong Jeon where Heavenly Parent can be attended in reality, and finally opened the era in which Heavenly Parent directly governs on earth.
I believe that True Father in Heaven knows better than anyone else how much jeongseong (devotion) and devotion True Mother has offered. I believe you are with True Mother in her nobility and sublime vision.
Beloved True Father,
True Mother is now bearing the time and weight of cosmic suffering on behalf of us, her children. From her place as a parent, she is once again taking on the path of sacrifice so that we and our descendants can live attending Heavenly Parent.
As you look upon True Mother bearing this cosmic cross, how heartbroken and agonized you must be, True Father.
True Father, we are deeply sorry.
We will attend True Mother much better. We will understand her heart more deeply and become more united so that she does not bear this burden alone. No longer will we be children who merely receive True Parents’ love; we will become responsible children who protect that love and practice it in our lives.
True Father,
Even before the cold, harsh secular courtroom, True Mother did not hesitate for a moment.
“I have created the environment to fulfill Creator Heavenly Parent’s dream on earth.”
“A peaceful world of one family under Heavenly Parent, with human peace, will surely be realized.”
“Until the end of my life, wherever I am, I will continue to press forward toward that goal.”
Thus she boldly proclaimed.
We will deeply engrave True Mother’s dignity and loyalty toward Heaven into our hearts and inherit them. We will not let the tradition of love, faith, and the Blessing passed down to us by True Parents end with our generation, but will pass it on completely to our children and to the generations that follow.
So that True Father may look down upon us and say,
“Now you are attending Mother well. You are protecting her well.”
We will fulfill the responsibilities entrusted to us so that you may say these words. We will love True Mother—whom you love so deeply—even more profoundly and attend her with utmost devotion. And we will follow and continue the path that True Parents have walked.
Please watch over us as we walk this path.
