Report During Special Vigil Devotion at Cheon Shim Won on April 24, 2026
By Kajikuri Masatate, Director of Mission Department
Beloved and respected members of the True Family’s Four-Position Foundation, Cheon Ae Cheon Seung Chul (Heavenly Victors), and all Sikgu (members) from around the world who are joining us in heart and devotion—good evening.
I am Masatate Kajikuri, Director of the Missions Department at the World Missions Headquarters. As we strive to fulfill our duty of Hyojeong (filial heart) toward Heavenly Parent and True Parents, I believe that the great grace and works of Heavenly Parent will be with all the members, their families, and the churches represented here at the 1,550th Special Vigil Devotion at Cheon Shim Won. Aju?! (Aju!)
1. The Starting Point of the World Tour
Beloved Blessed Families and members across the globe,
Since his inauguration, Director General Seung-yeon Doo received these words from True Mother:
“Do not be a director general who only sits at a desk. Go and meet the world’s members directly and convey my current situation and my heart to them.“
Upholding these words—given to comfort the global membership who long for True Mother and offer devotions even in distant lands—this world tour began. Starting with Heavenly Japan at the end of last year, it continued through Heavenly Africa in February, Heavenly Central and South America in March, and has reached its fourth continent this April: Heavenly Asia-Pacific.
Today, I would like to share with you the grace of the tour through Malaysia and Thailand within the Heavenly Asia-Pacific continent.

2. Malaysia
In Malaysia True Parents established a long-standing foundation of devotion, beginning with their world tour in 1965 and presiding over six major rallies in Malaysia up until 2006. Today’s Family Federation of Malaysia is built upon that very foundation.
In particular, a standout feature of this community is its vitality and potential for the future, with young members under the age of 40 accounting for 40% of the total membership.
During this tour, the Director General addressed a gathering of approximately 200 members, conveying True Mother’s message:
“Do not worry. Do not worry; I will meet you soon. I will meet you in person. I hope that all of you will become Blessed Families who can fulfill your responsibilities in all things.“
At the moment those words were delivered, many members bowed their heads and shed tears. The longing and anxiety that had built up in their hearts over a long period suddenly overflowed. One member confessed, “I had been filled with great worry and fear, but now I feel determined to return to my position and do what I must do.”
During this service, personnel appointments for churches throughout Malaysia were also announced. Out of six churches, three—half of the total—were assigned young, future-generation Church Leaders who stood before the members to offer their greetings. This marks the first step of generational fusion in Malaysia, where the First and Second Generations are opening a new era together. Everyone, this is by no means a small change. In this era of the Entrance into Cheon Won Gung, please give a big round of applause to encourage the fact that the First and Second Generations are becoming one in Malaysia! (Applause)

Additionally, a Cranes Club meeting was held. About 40 representatives of youth communities active in Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Singapore gathered in one place. These young people had already been consistently active within their respective national communities, and this meeting served as a venue to connect those individual flows into one. The seeds planted by True Mother have taken root in each region and continue to grow even now.
However, everyone, a serious challenge occurred in Malaysia over the past few months. A critical book was published that distorted the Family Federation’s Blessing activities as forced conversion, and the Malaysian opposition party used this politically to pressure the Family Federation.
Yet, the Malaysian members did not waver. A core member who is both a Cheonbo Family and a lawyer immediately took legal action alongside the headquarters. Furthermore, the President of UPF Malaysia, Dr. Sudesh—also a Cheonbo Family and a university professor—actively testified to the public benefit of the Family Federation during police investigations, which shifted the atmosphere of the investigative agencies to be more favorable. Ultimately, the Malaysian Minister of Home Affairs, who has maintained a friendly relationship with the Family Federation, officially announced during a press conference that the Family Federation is an organization that poses no threat to national security. Currently, the overall situation has entered a stage of stability.
This was not merely a legal victory. It was made possible because the members, united with True Mother upon a foundation of desperate devotion toward her, fulfilled their responsibilities in their respective positions. Please send a round of applause of encouragement to the Malaysian members! (Applause)

3. Thailand
As we witnessed the flow of generational succession in Malaysia, that reality was revealed even more clearly in Thailand. Thailand is known as the “Land of Smiles.” Wherever you go, people welcome you with warm smiles, and it is a nation where Buddhist culture is deeply rooted. At the same time, it is a place that holds a history of tears; since the first missionaries shared Heavenly Fortune (Heaven’s Will) on this soil in 1965, the providence has endured imprisonment and persecution amidst political upheaval.
During this tour, we witnessed a scene unlike any other. Dr. Lek, the senior leader and Chairman of the Board in Thailand, is a symbolic figure who has guarded the center of the Thai Family Federation for over 30 years. He was the first in the world to complete the 430-family Cheonbo (Heavenly Tribal Messiah) mission, for which True Parents personally commended him. On the occasion of the Director General’s visit, he joyfully stepped down from the chairmanship and passed the responsibility to Moonnoi, a Blessed Second Generation leader in his early 30s, who is now the National President.
National Leader, Mr. Moonnoi, born of a Thai Japanese International Blessed Family, is a talented individual who graduated from Thailand’s most prestigious university. He has now been appointed as a leader responsible not only for the nation of Thailand but for the entire Indochina Sub-region.
As Dr. Lek passed on his position, he declared that as a Cheonbo Family and a True Child, he would fulfill his heaven-sent responsibilities until the very end of his life. His appearance recalled Moses from the Bible. Like Moses, who gazed upon the Promised Land while opening the way for the next generation, a history begins where the First and Second Generations walk together into Cheon Il Guk, centered on True Mother.
Currently, the leadership of the Indochina Sub-region is being led by those in their 30s. In Myanmar, which is currently facing a civil war, a female National President in her early 30s is continuing mission work focused on refugees (in Thailand) and compatriots in the border regions. Despite the chaos and danger, she witnessed to 12 people in just one year, cultivating a warm community of faith. Even in a place of despair, Heaven is beginning a new history. Everyone, it is because of such determination and devotion that Heaven’s providence continues. Please gather your hearts and offer a big round of applause for this precious dedication. (Applause)
I would like to share a story from the end of the service. The Thai members, famous for their bright smiles, found their eyes reddened with tears. As Mother’s words were delivered, tears of longing quietly soaked the sanctuary in place of smiles. One member confessed:
“Thinking of how Mother continues to worry for and embrace her children even while she is in a difficult situation, I reflected on how I have not sufficiently repaid that great love. Yet, at the same time, that love became the power that allows me to stand up again.”
Those tears were not of sadness. They were tears of accepting Mother’s love and of a renewed determination to rise once more.
4. Conclusion
Everyone, through our tour across four continents, the World Missions Headquarters has clearly confirmed one undeniable truth.
No matter where we went, the reaction of the members was the same. The moment True Mother’s words were shared, they shed tears—and then, they lifted their heads once more. Those tears signify their love for Mother and their firm resolve to repay that love.
At this very moment, the members in Malaysia, the members in Thailand, and all of you gathered here today are offering the same Jeongseong (devotion) with one heart. We are already connected as one. This is the true image of Blessed Families worldwide united with True Mother, and that is precisely our hope today. Isn’t that right, everyone? (Yes!)
The World Missions Headquarters will serve as the bridge that connects this hope. A bridge connecting True Mother to the field, connecting one field to another, and connecting member to member. We will offer our full devotion to ensure that all Blessed Families across the globe are linked as one upon that bridge.
I sincerely pray that your devotions will deeply move the heart of Heaven. Thank you.
