A delegation from the World Mission Headquarters, led by Director General Doo Seung-yeon and accompanied by his spouse, Director Kajikuri, and Vice Director Motoyama, recently completed a significant visit to Thailand—the hub of the Indochina region. Arriving on the evening of the 17th, the team engaged in an intensive four-day itinerary designed to strengthen the foundation of the local providence before departing on the 20th.
Strengthening Leadership and Strategic Vision
On the 18th, the visiting team held a series of strategic meetings at the Thailand headquarters:
- Morning Briefing: The session provided a comprehensive overview of the Indochina region, focusing on Thailand’s unique role and the specific objectives of the visit.
- Leadership Deep Dive: In the afternoon, the delegation met with regional leaders. The visitors demonstrated a profound understanding of the region’s complex political landscape and Buddhist cultural heritage.
- Core Guidance: The team emphasized the need for “contextualized” education, urging leaders to apply Divine Principle teachings flexibly. They advocated for outreach rooted in universal values—love, conscience, and family—and stressed that reclaiming inactive members requires genuine, long-term relationship-building rather than mere administrative outreach.
In the evening, the delegation met with senior members. The leaders expressed deep gratitude for the pioneers who laid the church’s foundation in Thailand, encouraging them to continue mentoring the youth to ensure the movement’s steady growth.

Spiritual Awakening: The Cheon Il Guk Family Meeting
The 19th marked the spiritual highlight of the trip with the “Cheon Il Guk Family Meeting” and a special worship service.
“Who am I?”
Director General Doo centered his message on this fundamental question, guiding participants to rediscover their identity as children of True Parents. Many attendees remarked that the sermon moved beyond intellectual theory, allowing them to feel a personal, heartfelt connection to the love and heart of True Mother.
Empowering the Next Generation
The delegation dedicated significant time to the future of the movement through two key events:
- Young Leaders Luncheon: During a candid Q&A, the visitors shared insights into True Mother’s current activities and the global direction of the World Headquarters, providing the youth with a clear sense of mission.
- Cranes Club Launch Ceremony: In a gathering of university students and young professionals, the leaders encouraged the youth to develop their professional talents with confidence. Director Doo and Director Kajikuri offered practical, resonant advice on marriage and family life, bridging the gap between spiritual ideals and daily reality.

A New Beginning
This visit provided a powerful boost of morale for members across the Indochina region. As Southeast Asia celebrates its traditional New Year, this gathering marks a meaningful “new beginning,” aligning the hearts of the Thai providence with the global vision of the World Headquarters.
