Cheon Ji Pu Mo Tongil Anchak Saenghwal Gwon Seonpo
In late July, Father called all Korean leaders stationed around the world to travel to Korea for a meeting which took place on August 1st. At the meeting, Father asked most of them them to remain in Korea until year’s end to focus on the restoration of their clans and tribes, something Father has emphasized very strongly to the members in Korea since the beginning of July (see Today’s World July 2002 issue from page 4). In the early hours of August 5th, 2002, Father once again called members together. The following are excerpts from Father’s speech that morning and the prayer through which Father made the declaration of the Realm of Life of the Unity and Completed Settlement of the Parents of Heaven and Earth. The final part of his speech was a specific call to action in keeping with the meaning of this declaration that the Unity and Completed Settlement of the Parents of Heaven and Earth permeate human life on all levels.
Are there twenty-seven regions? [Rev. Hwang: There are twenty-five regions.] Are the leaders of all the regions here? [Yes.] Raise your hands. [Regional directors in Seoul, please stand up.] I told you to bring ten people each. Have you brought them? [Yes, here they are.] Then, eleven of you should make one row. How many rows are there? [Twenty-five in all.]
What time did you leave Seoul to come here? It takes about thirty minutes. [To one leader:] What time were you informed? [I received the news at three in the morning.] Those from Gangwon province raise your hands! [They don’t seem to have arrived yet.] How is it they are not here yet? [It takes two hours to get here from Chuncheon.] Two hours? What time did you contact them? I informed you of this meeting at 1:40 this morning. They surely had enough time to come here. They could have come in four hours. Even people from Gwangju could have come here in that time. They all have cars, don’t they? They should have sped up in their cars.
You need this training. I’ll do this kind of thing several more times and see how many of you can come on time. You are leaders. Those who cannot make it on time will drop out. This is the time for such training. You should all move fast under my command. Shouldn’t you be better than the army? If you let yourselves get caught up in your own situations and do whatever you wish to do, you will surely drop out somewhere along the way. You will lose your nation. Everything will be gone.
Are you all ready? Those of you from Chuncheon and Gangwon Province should raise your hands! No one. Next, Chungbuk (Ãʺœ) Province! Which part of Chungbuk are you from? [We are from Chungju (ÃÊ¡÷).] Doesn’t it take just an hour and a half from Chungju? [It took us two hours.] (Laughter) Don’t you think I know how long it takes to come here? I have a map of the country in my head.
If you have seen everything you want to see and if you have done everything you want to do, what is left? If you heard my request to come here, you should have dashed here no matter what. You should not have taken time to wash. You should have run here in your underwear. No one would say anything bad about a man who came in his underwear to make it on time for a meeting I’d called. It’s summer now. You can explain to people that it is an emergency. You should be able to do that. (Father laughs.) The question is, who arrived here first? Do you understand? [Yes.] If I settle in Korea, I am going to train you this way whenever needed. Mokpo (¸ÒƘ) and Busan (ºŒªÍ) are the farthest from here, aren’t they? Busan and Mokpo are just about the same distance from here. In mobilizing people, you should make a record of how long it takes for the people to come here. You should do so area by area.
If you don’t get here in time, it shows your inability to contribute to public missions. You can’t do whatever you feel like doing. That time has come now.
It’s time to build the nation. The heavenly nation in heaven, starting with the five saints, will join in building the nation. If you include Socrates, there are five saints. Centering on the religious world, there are four saints. The religious world is at the center.
Those who live centering on the religious world can be united in the spirit world, regardless of national boundaries. People like Socrates are in the lower part of the religious world. This world and the other world must be united. It’s the only way.
Center yourselves on my four children–especially Heung-jin gun–in the spirit world, and the five saints! Those in the spirit world who testified will all be blessed! The entire spirit world is present at this meeting… What has happened to the spirit world? Centering on God, not only the 5 saints but also 120 others gathered and held what ceremony? What ceremony did they hold? [They wrote a resolution, centered on the representatives of the five great religions.] They held a ceremony to formulate a resolution.
Based on a certain standard, the entire spirit world made that resolution. That ceremony thus becomes the exemplary standard. The terms of the resolution should be absolutely kept to. Starting from God, the five great saints and all the blessed families in the spirit world… I allowed the Cheon Il Guk identification card to be issued in the spirit world. Because the spirit world was given permission, the physical world is also allowed to have this citizenship card.
Should you get the card sooner or later? Hwang Sun-jo! [Yes! It seems should get them quickly.] Why do you sound unsure? You must get them quickly. [Yes.]
You shouldn’t be left out of this mobilization. You don’t know what’s going to happen today, do you? What’s today’s date, August what? [The fifth.] What do five and eight mean? Eight plus five is thirteen, and eight times five is forty. These numbers are absolutely necessary in creating the unified nation and Cheon Il Guk and to unite the spirit world and the physical world. Do you understand? [Yes.]
As pioneers of a new beginning, you are still so used to your old habits of eating and living like maggots. You mustn’t live like that any more. If you exclude yourselves from the program of the spirit world and the plans of Heaven, don’t you realize you’ll face serious problems in the spirit world?
Are you concerned about what to eat and wear? What to eat and wear should not be your concern. Where to live is not a problem. In an emergency, soldiers have to live in a single set of clothes. Don’t you know that? Whenever there is an emergency order, people should put on…what was it called in the time of the Japanese occupation? There’s a kind of loose slacks with elastic at the waist and ankles that first became popular during the Japanese occupation. They are the kind you can keep going in for a long time. If someone thinks he’s going to be late for one of my meetings, he should hurry. Such is the urgent time that has come.
Can you hear me back there? [Yes.] If you eat, sleep and live as you wish–as you have done so far–there won’t be anything left for you. You can’t live idly, as you have been doing, any more. If you want to be heavenly warriors or heavenly soldiers in establishing the homeland nation for the sake of the unification of heaven and earth, you should always move ahead of those in the spirit world. Whenever instructions are given to you from headquarters, you should be ready. Whenever a direction is given to you through the Internet or e-mail, the entire nation, all of heaven and earth, must be able to move at the same time. Such a time has come….
Do those in the spirit world obey my orders or not? [They do.] Do they or don’t they? [They do!] Have you seen that for yourselves? [Yes!] You don’t know. You have no idea. You don’t know the spirit world and, at the same time, those in the spirit world don’t know the physical world either. People in the spirit world trust me. Those in the physical world and the spirit world don’t know each other so well. I am the only one both worlds can trust. How can those in the spirit world or in the physical world know what’s going on? If they believe in me, what kind of faith should they have? Absolute faith! Say it! [Absolute faith!] And what’s next? [Absolute love!] And next? [Absolute obedience!] This is the remarkable truth. From there, the entire cosmos can become united into one. Before He created the world and at the time He created it, God had this idea in mind: “In creating the cosmos, what I desire is not only the Word but also substantial beings who will be my object partners. And they will come to exist.” He didn’t think that it seemed that they would, but that they would. Do you understand? This was not maybe, not a guess. It was definite.
Absolute faith! That’s definite. Nothing can be higher than that. “Absolute” means it stands above everything. Does the word “absolute” have great or little significance? When you talk about absolute faith, it means more than just ordinary faith…. After absolute faith, there should be absolute love. God created materials for love. The things of creation are those materials. The world of heart is connected to the realm of all things. Materials, consciousness and other philosophical ideas are all divided into all directions. In order for them to be united into one, they should be connected to the realm of heart.
When God created, He didn’t create with anything else, but He had the idea and the purpose of creation. Besides that, He really poured His heart into the Creation. He poured out His love. Everything exists because of love. Do you understand? [Yes.] Why do we exist as man and woman? [Because of love!] Why do we have both a right and a left eye? Why not only one? Everything exists in relationships. The mouth and tongue are connected…. Everything exists that way, connected front and back, left and right, and above and below. The entire cosmos is connected because of love. Who is the center of cosmic love? [God is.]
What did I teach you the other day? God’s mind and body are united. Aren’t they? [Yes.] One heart, one body, one mindset represents God’s entire ideology. I’ve reached that final conclusion. One heart, one body, one mindset is the main ideology of God and the people of heaven and earth [the cosmos]! That’s the final conclusion.
The question is whether or not your mind and body are united. Centering on the unity of your mind and body, you should fulfill your purpose of becoming filial children in your family, loyal citizens [or patriots] of your nation, saints of the world and holy people of heaven and earth. Therefore, with the mind to be one with your parents, you must realize one heart, one body, one mindset. Because your path is destined to be that way, you must absolutely follow it.
Our life of one heart, one body, one mindset should be absolute, unique, unchanging and eternal! Do you understand what I mean? [Yes.] Say it. [One heart, one body, one mindset is the main ideology of God and the people of heaven and earth.] One heart! [One heart!] One body! [One body!] One mindset! [One mindset!] The people of heaven and earth. Not only people in heaven but also people on earth. The main ideology of the people of heaven and earth! It is the subject ideology. That is the final conclusion.
What is the main direction for your heart, body and mindset to be one? You should be children of absolute filial piety in the family. You should be absolutely loyal citizens of your nation, absolute saints of the world and absolute holy people for heaven and earth. The nature of God is absolute and unique. Each one of you must think as if you were the only filial child in the family, a unique filial child. And a unique what? Loyal citizen! Unique what? Saint! A unique holy person! What’s next? Unchanging and eternal.
And also in the position of a holy person, you should become a unique filial child. You should be a unique loyal citizen, saint and holy man. It was the same for Jesus. He had to be a unique filial son, unique loyal citizen, unique saint and unique holy son. All of those have to be concluded centering on a family! Do you understand? [Yes.]
Our Unification family is unique. What does that mean? Because you are in that family, you should become unique filial children. There is one nation that filial children want; you should be unique loyal citizens for that unique nation. You should be saints and holy people of the world. If God exists, such a one becomes a unique son, the eldest son. There is only one eldest son. It works the same way for daughters. Do you understand? [Yes.]
What is God? God is the Father. What does He want? He wants unique, filial children in the family! Do you understand? Filial children of a unique family, what’s next? Filial children of an unchanging family and of an eternal family! Centering on that, you must create the absolute, unique, unchanging, eternal families. You must be filial children, loyal citizens and representatives of the family of saints and holy people. That’s how you can cause God to dwell in you and how subject and object partners can be united.
We should create families, nations, the world and heaven and earth absolutely united, absolutely unique, absolutely unchanging and absolutely eternal to create the unified heavenly kingdom on earth and in heaven. Once the heavenly kingdom is created, Satan will disappear; the liberated world has nothing to do with the fall. The heavenly kingdom on earth and in heaven is where people live centering on God’s love. You must prepare yourselves for that….
Unless you have a nation, you cannot register a birth, a marriage or a death. Who gets hold of newborn babies? Can God take them? Satan does. Satan would really love for God to give up and throw everything away. Satan works very diligently for that purpose. Satan tries His best to stop people from registering births and marriages in the heavenly nation. Satan says to people, “Because you live in the fallen realm, no matter how much God hates it, you will inherit my blood lineage and be my sons and daughters, who bring destruction to the heavenly nation.” That’s how things are now. People can’t even register their deaths as it is now!
So, do you need to be registered? Have you all received the registration blessing? [Yes.] I’m issuing citizenship cards for Cheon Il Guk, but are you treating them like a child’s picture cards? You scoundrels! Even if you die tomorrow, you will do so without regret if you can show your identification card to God. All the saints and holy people want to have a citizenship card. There is nothing further for them to desire if they have Cheon Il Guk citizenship cards. Even if one is dead already, one could still have a chance to go to the heavenly kingdom with that. Do you understand what I am telling you? [Yes.]…
You Koreans always like to have fun and have everything for free. You Korean scoundrels! When you were called for this emergency meeting, you surely asked yourselves, “Oh what’s the matter now?” If you had this kind of emergency situation everyday, you would grow everyday. Don’t you think so? If you were to go through military training, you’d learn to dominate not only the high ground but also the highest peak. You should be trained repeatedly to dominate the highest peak. Those who are not trained will fall away.
Those who are from Kyungsang Province, raise your hands. Raise your hands those who came from Kyungsang Province this morning! Those who came from Cholla Province this morning!…
What time is it now? I was going to start the special heavenly proclamation ceremony at eight o’clock. Chung Won-ju!1 [Yes.] Did you bring the book that I asked you to–The Restoration of the Tribe and the Completed Settlement of Cheon Il Guk? [Yes.] Do you all have these? [Yes.] Did you buy them or were they given to you for free? [They were given to us.] How did you get them for free? Why do you like to have things for free? Don’t you know it’s time for you to pay tax? Now, we have our nation. You should offer 33 percent of your monthly salaries before Heaven to build schools for your sons and daughters and for the nation, but you have given no thought to doing that at all. You scoundrels! Those who have received the registration blessing, raise your hands! You must fulfill your responsibility.
What does Realm of Life2 mean? The title refers to life, the realm of life! The realm of life in relation to individuals, families, tribes, nations, heaven and earth! I’m talking about the realm of life. When you say “life,” it usually means life centering on yourself. However, didn’t we hold the Rally for the Unity and Completed Settlement of the Parents of Heaven and Earth? This stands above the nation. As we are positioned beyond the level of the nation, we should now hold a series of “Realm of Life” rallies. Certainly, you must clear up your everyday life so that you won’t have any problem in the heavenly nation. It means taking responsibility. If we have time, I’ll explain all the things that are relevant here, and we must hold a proclamation ceremony for the realm of life.
On earth, centering on True Parents, you should make a new resolution as was done in the spirit world. Centering on True Parents, all the leaders of the Unification family from all over the world have gathered here representing the world–because Korea is the center of our global homeland–to bring everything to a conclusion and to make a full resolution together with the spiritual world. In the position of older brothers on earth, you must show the example of finding the nation first. You must build the nation first.
Do those who have died and gone to the spirit world have a home nation? Do they have hometowns? You must not be beaten by them in this competition. It’s time to mobilize them. That’s why you must make a strong enough foundation for them to act by planting the flag on earth as the advance force. Do you understand what I mean? [Yes.] Can you hear me back there? [Yes.] I hope so. You must fulfill your mission and then you must take the responsibility of liberating the realm of life centering on your families. Am I right or not?
These next rallies will be the Speaking Tour for the Realm of Life of the Unity and Completed Settlement of the Parents of Heaven and Earth. The Parents of Heaven and Earth have settled [been established] on the national foundation. You must create the realm of life on the national foundation–the realm of life on the family level, tribal level, national level and worldwide level! Who should create them all? It has to be everyone here, right? Because no one objected, there will be no problem. That’s why you must gather your tribes together. You should make your tribes as the bones, and connect 275 other clans to yours to build up a nation and climb the ladder to the world.
Weren’t all the saints united? They went beyond the religious realm. Centering on the realm of God’s heart, I have blessed them all and bequeathed it to them. That’s why they could go up. The problem is the nation. We must establish the realm of life on the foundation of the liberated nation to create the heavenly kingdom on earth and in heaven. The liberated heaven and earth will come about.
Now, what’s next? We haven’t done hoondokhae, have we? [No.] We should do hoondokhae. Once we do that, it will be after eight o’clock. We should hold the ceremony at ten then, instead of eight o’clock.
Do you all have this book? Those who don’t have one raise your hands. You should certainly buy one. This next even is going to be the Speaking Tour for the Realm of Life of the Unity and Completed Settlement of the Parents of Heaven and Earth. We must use the word, “realm.” “Realm” can cover everything: individuals, families, tribes–all eight stages… “Life” means daily life. You mustn’t leave out the word “realm.” Do you understand? [Yes.]…
It’s an amazing fact that the Unification Church has a pledge related to the family. It’s a great treasure that there is a historic Family Pledge centered on God and that follows natural law. There are eight parts of the Family Pledge, but even if you could fulfill one of them, you would without doubt be able to enter heaven with Rev. Moon. If you can fulfill all eight parts of the Family Pledge, great saints such as Confucius or Buddha will come to do errands for you….
Do you know what we did in Cheong Pyeong yesterday and the day before yesterday? We set up family trinities of Japanese blessed members, Korean blessed members and American blessed members. In Adam’s age, three sons and three daughters did not receive the blessing. It was the same at the time of Noah, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. To restore all this, we must set up family trinities. Centered on three sons, we must establish brotherhood and sisterhood relationships, relationships that go beyond nationality, culture and tradition, brothers and sisters centered on the new culture of heart. The best brothers and sisters among all brothers and sisters.
The reason we must do this is because brothers and sisters born in the fallen world are in conflict and fighting each other, even as bloodthirsty enemies. This reality must be overcome because, in the world of the culture of heart, we are all brothers among brothers and sisters among sisters…. Japanese, Americans and Koreans are enemies. Even though Korea and Japan, America and Japan and America and Germany have been enemies, the time will come when, centered on these relationships, we must live as one family.
If Korean, Japanese, American and German families live together, they must be able to love the sons and daughters of those from other countries more than their own sons and daughters or siblings. They must embrace others with heavenly love and feel as kindred spirits among the four families. Attend God as the absolute Parent. If you are Korean, you should love your nation and your brothers and sisters, and bring all together into oneness. Only through the blessed families around the world realizing such an environment can the earthly world unite with the spirit world, which has become a unified heaven, and leap into the infinite world of a liberated heaven where songs of freedom and liberation will be sung eternally. This is the only way to create a happy family and happy citizens in a nation!
This is the will of God in heaven and of True Parents on earth; and now, having such hope, we are in a position to begin this. Because we have seen the dawning of a great age of transition, from now on, through making all the necessary preparations to go in that direction, we must not only find the independence of a nation, but also the independence of Asia, the unification of East and West, and then the completion of the unification of heaven and earth. These things are not far from becoming reality….
What is the fifth part of the Family Pledge? [Everyone recites Pledge no. 5.] Because you know this, as I do, you must bring people to this point, even if you have to be very persuasive or push people along. You have to bring the people of the world to unite with the spirit world. During army training, people must be forced to do what they must do, even if it means that some suffer pain in the process.
You have to know that even if you die, you must do so after having transcended national borders. In this age in which you can liberate yourself from the serious, desolate and miserable acts you have committed and from being caught up in Satan’s snare, you cannot be idle. There is no tomorrow. There is only today. Victory is won or lost in the moment.
From now on, you must stand above the Family Pledge that you have been pledging. Through standing above the Family Pledge, with a standard greater than that of a people united centered on the Family Pledge, we have established God’s kingship. Accordingly, on the foundation of the unity of the spiritual world and the physical world, centered on God, significant historical figures who are in the spirit world have made a proclamation in the name of God through their written resolutions. These central figures include the four great saints, contributors to the world’s great cultures, and many others who united in adopting written resolutions. On the basis of the making of these proclamations, the Unification Church held the Rally for the Unity and Completed Settlement of the Parents of Heaven and Earth. Who did we try to reach through that rally? Heaven, earth–and hell!
That’s why hell will disappear and Satan will be purged, the heavenly nation that knows True Parents and the physical nation that knows God will replace [the satanic world.] The realm of brotherhood and sisterhood can be found and settled beyond the national level with the proclamation of the Rally for the Unity and Completed Settlement of the Parents of Heaven and Earth in both heaven and on earth–throughout the entire universe. Will this come about or not? Even if you say it will not happen, it will happen. Isn’t the fifth part of the Family Pledge about this? We have to advance the unification of the spiritual world and physical world as subject and object partners. You have to get everyone across the border even if they suffer and have to be revived later.
Now is the time of a great housecleaning. Isn’t it like that in Korea as well? In the old days, we used to do a major housecleaning once a year, right? [Yes.] Now is the time in history for a major housecleaning, through which not one speck of dust will be left. Everything is being cleaned, so that we can create a beautiful garden of lilies and become intoxicated in the fragrance… . Isn’t the fragrance of a lily profound? It’s the same with morning glories. The fragrance from the flower does not travel in a vertical line. This is why the lily symbolizes the bride. It is like a searchlight. Such fragrance and light of love! Because it is white, it is easy to see at night. The fragrance spreads strongly from the white body of a bride, like the fragrance of the lily, who attends the groom and the Heavenly Parents. Only through this happening, when the bride and groom are dancing while singing “mansei” for a realm of peace for thousands and tens of thousands of years, and becoming eternal citizens of heaven, can they become liberated princes and princesses for evermore! Amen!
Do you want that? [Yes.] Do you want that with your eyes open or with your eyes closed? [We want it with our eyes open.] You should want it with your eyes closed as well! If it is day when eyes are open and night when they are closed, you should constantly want this… . There isn’t even any winter. In a world of eternal spring, when two people attend God and always dance, sing, eat, live and enjoy life in a place full of fragrance and then add their own fragrance to the mix, how happy and joyful a Kingdom of Heaven on earth and in heaven that would be!
This is a hopeful message, right? [Yes.] You want this, right? [Yes.] Should you truly, truly wish for this, or truly, truly fulfill this? Which one is right? [We will fulfill this.] If you just wish for this, you are a sinner. You must be determined to absolutely fulfill this. Is that clear? [Yes.]…
Blessed families, please raise your hands. Blessed families are expected to attend. Mind and body must become one… . You know all about that, right? Mind and body must become one, husband and wife must become one, parent and child must become one; and centered on the three generations up until the grandparents, you must reach as far as your uncles and cousins twelve times removed. To do this, you must go beyond seven generations of ancestors. If you create this foundation and have children, your family will be liberated.
Therefore, should you hurry up and bless your family and your relatives or not? You shouldn’t go this way on your own. You have to take all of your family and relatives with you. To take them with you, you have to have a national standard that transcends your native people. From there, you can rise and challenge the world. But I don’t need to tell you this, do I? I have already taught you this. You should think that without a doubt you will fulfill 100 or even 120 percent of your portion of responsibility. Even if your own generation is full of resentment, you can create a bright new age for future generations. Think that, before you die, you will create a royal place of peace that can be followed by heaven and earth. Do you understand? [Yes!]
Then you must know that the Family Pledge was given to blessed families who have fulfilled this or have resolved to fulfill this. The Family Pledge has the essence of history contained within its words. Therefore, the foremost expressions of the core Unification Church teachings are the same as the resolutions from spirit world. The first is the Family Pledge, the second is the speech from God’s Coronation Ceremony and the third is the speech proclaiming the Unity and Completed Settlement of the Parents of Heaven and Earth.
Because, beyond the nation, we have attended the Parents of Heaven and Earth, from now on we must mobilize the whole family to liberate the clan and the nation. Because we have established the Unity and Completed Settlement of the Parents of Heaven and Earth, we must now hold rallies for the Realm of Life of the Unity and Completed Settlement of the Parents of Heaven and Earth.
The Parents of Heaven and Earth are beyond the national level, right? Since we have placed the Parents of Heaven and Earth above the nation, our nation will be unchanging. So we must now live.
That’s why you must be willing to be absorbed into your families. You know that, don’t you? Individuals make sacrifices for the family and families for the tribe and go up that way. Why do individuals have to make sacrifices for the family? There could be ten family members living together in the same house. In a place like the Middle East you may have thirty or forty family members in one place. Most people are like each one of you here. There is no law asking many people in a group to make sacrifices for one individual. An individual should sacrifice for and serve the family. That’s the heavenly way.
Families must make sacrifices for the tribe. There are thousands or tens of thousands of Kim families from the Kim clan. If anyone says that those thousands or tens of thousands must make sacrifices for him or for her, he or she is the devil. That kind of individualism is a satanic trait. There are so many families of Kims. Therefore, an individual Kim family ought to sacrifice for the group of Kim families.
There are also numerous tribes in a nation. In Korea, there are 275 clans. Kims should be willing to sacrifice for the whole nation. They should sacrifice not only for Korea but also for the rest of the world. There are numerous nations, and living for only Korea is not enough. Korea must be willing to sacrifice for the many nations of the world. Do you understand? [Yes.]
You should be willing to go beyond the limit of the nation and fulfill the duty of saints. There are few nations of saints on earth. You must go beyond the realm of the four great saints and digest it. After that, you should go to God. God’s kingdom is one; therefore, the whole should be unified within it. You should offer everything to God and accomplish restoration through indemnity. After you have completed restoration through indemnity, God can bequeath everything back to you, saying, “You have victoriously offered to heaven the fundamental course of the providence of heavenly restoration; now everything is yours.”
Individuals should live for the sake of the family. Families should live for the sake of the tribe. Tribes should exist for the sake of the nation. Nations should exist for the sake of the world. The world should exist for the sake of heaven and earth. Heaven and earth should exist for the sake of God. Finally, God exists and sacrifices Himself for each individual. He wants to save each one of us. He wants each one of us to be His son or daughter. Because God comes to us after overcoming all the obstacles on the worldwide level, if you offer everything of yourself, God will say to you, “I didn’t create heaven and earth for me but for you. You should live better lives than I.” God who lives in the spirit world doesn’t need anything else. He wants to bequeath everything to us on earth. That’s how you can be liberated. I am living that course. I’ve made several billion won. I am counted among the wealthy in Korea, but I have no money in my pocket. Today, I did not even bring my wallet….
This is the third time that I’ve asked you to work to break through on the neighborhood level.3 You must do this work. I’m going to clear everything up. If I were to abandon Korea, all you people sitting here would be flicked away. The enemies would come. The communists would come and what would happen? Slaughter! Such a time is coming. If I turn my back on you, I won’t look back.
Knowing all this, because you are being measured by such a standard you need to accomplish things accordingly. If you invest yourselves fully, you’ll have no regrets and nothing to lose. You must run and run. You must fly and fly. You should be able to tell yourselves that there is no place or anything that you haven’t touched upon in life and that you are truly proud of yourselves before God. Only then can God say that you’re His sons and daughters. If you have nothing to show, how can God proudly say that you’re His sons and daughters? You are no better than those in the satanic world. Do you understand? [Yes.]
Those in blessed families must be able to say that you are God’s sons and daughters; you are better than any well-known saint or holy man in the satanic world. That’s how profound and precious the value of the blessing is. Older men think that they can eat what they want to eat and live the way they want to live, still believing that they can go to the Heavenly Kingdom. That isn’t what’s going to happen. You must educate your sons and daughters until you die.
Now, it’s time to reflect upon what you have done in your life. It’s time to check whether or not the Family Pledge is good by reciting it aloud. I am that way. I know when there are some changes in what I’ve said, even a word or colon. I check repeatedly to leave perfection behind when I die. You should be the same way. When you leave a historic inheritance to your descendants, you must make sure you’re leaving something flawless. That’s how you can inherit True Parents’ position. This is absolutely true. Otherwise, you can’t pass through the door into the spirit world behind True Parents. You’ll end up creating paradise or hell right before the doorstep of heaven. There won’t be any restoration for thousands or tens of thousands of years.
When I go to the spirit world, I don’t want to hear you crying, “God, help us!” I don’t want to hear you crying “Father, help us!” when I step through the heavenly door. It’ll be a completely different world. You should live in the original world, attending Heaven, having nothing to do with the fall, without any resentment or sorrow whatsoever. You should be able to do whatever you want in that world. I don’t want you to cry for help in the spirit world….
Look at the Family Pledge. What’s the first one? It is about recreating the soil of the original home nation. What’s the second? It is about fulfilling the duty of filial children, loyal citizens [patriots], saints and holy [divine] sons and daughters! What’s the third? It is about the four great realms of heart, the three great kingships and the realm of the royal family! There is no place for the fall in the spirit world; once one enters heaven, the obstacle of the fall does not exist. The fourth verse is about creating one great family in the cosmos in accordance with God’s ideal of Creation, and the world of freedom, peace, unification and happiness. This is creating people within the sphere of the family on the worldwide level.
Part five is about making progress in unifying the spiritual and physical worlds. They must be one. What’s the sixth one about? Centering on the Parents of Heaven and Earth, you are pledging to share heaven’s blessing with others by establishing families that move heavenly fortune. Isn’t that right?
What’s the seventh one? Connecting to the original blood lineage… What is the original blood lineage? It is the original blood lineage, without sin, that was in God’s mind before the fall, and which mankind could not establish. The Parents of Heaven and Earth have been doing this–they have been in the position of moving heavenly fortune. They are sinless and, connected to the original blood lineage, they have lived for the sake of others. I put the phrase, “through living for the sake of others” in the middle of this content. After completing it all, it says we pledge to “perfect a world based on the culture of heart.” Then, isn’t everything fulfilled?
What’s the eighth? The number eight signifies a new beginning. That’s why the pledge has to have an eighth verse. Centering on true love, as we enter the Completed Testament Age, God and people become one in love through absolute faith, absolute love and absolute obedience! No one is alone. God and people become united in love! We must realize the ideal of the heavenly kingdom on earth and in heaven starting from God and from each individual. After realizing the ideal, the liberation of the Heavenly Kingdom on earth and in heaven can begin. “Perfecting the realm of the liberation….” Then that’s it.
If you realize any one of the eight verses of the family pledge, you can enter the Heavenly Kingdom. The first and the second are about filial piety. The third and fourth are about the realm of heart. The fourth is about creating a grand global family. The fifth is about unifying the spirit world and the physical world. The sixth one is about bringing your tribes and nation with you when entering the heavenly nation, after you are blessed by Heaven.
Now, you have been asked to do just that. If you have brothers and they are not blessed yet… Haven’t they opposed you as enemies? Have your mothers and fathers opposed you? Aren’t they your enemies? If your last name is Kim, the Kim clans are your enemies; even your nation is your enemy. There must be intermarriage.
Through love, you bless your enemies. Saints and murderers have been matched and blessed. You must intermarry between enemies. You, Unification Church scoundrels! Now you’re allowed to be matched and blessed by your own physical parents. So, all of you have the heart of thieves now. You are supposed to intermarry with potential enemies, but you’re just trying to find the best possible situations for yourselves. You must know that those from enemy nations who intermarry will become the central figures of the world of peace….
Knowing this, we understand that the Rally for the Unity and Completed Settlement of the Parents of Heaven and Earth followed our having formulated the pledge and having established the realm of kingship. What came next? [The resolution made in the spirit world!] That’s right.
Because we have made the resolution, we must establish the realm of life to live in the heavenly world. Everyone should live together–as individuals, tribes and nations in heaven and on earth. Those who have never lived in the heavenly nation can join us by following the ways of the heavenly nation. That’s logical. Because it was realized by True Parents, others will follow the heavenly nation’s ways.
I alone have known this from my youth and have been predicting this would happen. This isn’t the first time I’ve told you this. I have been telling you this for several decades. It’s all falling into place. Am I right or not? [You’re right.] If you believe I am right, it’s your job to make it come true.
We’ll have to have the ceremony at ten. Do you know? [Yes.] Will you carry it out or not? [We will!] You should read this book from cover to cover. Next, you should read the book about South and North Unification. Then you should read the main speech from the Speaking Tour for the Realm of Life of the Unity and Completed Settlement of the Parents of Heaven and Earth. You should know all of this. You must know the content of the realm of life declaration ceremony. Do you understand? [Yes.]
You are truly blessed to be able to participate in this proclamation ceremony. [Father asks the photographer to take photos that will include everyone.]
From now, I have to organize and arrange the nation and the world to be assimilated into the complete settlement of the realm of life. That’ll be the final task. You must know exactly what will happen to you, so I must teach you. Today is August 5th. It is related to the numbers forty and thirteen.
I was given this command from Heaven while I was praying at dawn; I had to call you to this ceremony. You probably had to rearrange your schedules. You probably were very busy with something, but you must understand that participating in this meeting at this hour is an honor for you and something you can be proud of.
What’s the meaning of today’s ceremony? It’s the proclamation ceremony for the Realm of Life of the Unity and Completed Settlement of the Parents of Heaven and Earth. What the spirit world wants is for you to create such a realm of life on earth, starting within your families and expanding into your neighborhoods, your local communities, your districts, boroughs and cities, centering on the unified Parents. You should include congressmen, cabinet members and the president! From the smallest neighborhood divisions to the provincial level you must make a strong enough foundation for the spirit world to come down on earth to help you.
Some people in the spirit world have a foundation to represent the nation and others to represent the world. Don’t saints represent the world? [Yes.] Therefore, we must make a foundation for those people in the spirit people to work on earth. Only then can they come down and push down those who are at the top and push up those who are at the bottom. That’s how the realm of liberation of the unified Heavenly Kingdom on earth can quickly come true. That’s why I, as True Parent, have to hold this proclamation ceremony of the realm of life right now.
In the spirit world, centering on God who is the Parent of the heavenly world there, the five saints and all those there who are blessed participated in the proclamation ceremony to form Cheon Il Guk in the spirit world. Therefore, in order for them to be one with the physical world, they must have a substantial foundation with True Parents on earth through their own religious denominations. They should have the physical foundations that are equal to their spiritual levels. Otherwise, they can never work freely on earth. There are people who belong to the family level, neighborhood level, district level, city level, provincial level, national level, congressional level, ministerial level, the presidential level and above….
True Parents are teaching you about the practical foundation. The spirit world and the physical world must be unified as brother and sister to solve all the problems on the national level, to unify South and North Korea, and to narrow the gap between Eastern and Western cultures and between the rich of the North and the poor of the South, so that the whole world can be liberated. It’s True Parents’ task to proclaim those conditions. This is an important ceremony, therefore.
So, the proclamation ceremony of the realm of life is the final thing. No matter what happens, everyone from your families through all the city divisions to the cities, the provinces as well as all the congressmen, government ministers and the president should be one. We must create the worldwide, unified foundation so that saints can work freely with us. Only when such a foundation is made, can we unify all the nations, especially all the Christian nations. Do you understand?
That’s why there must be such a foundation…. Because Confucius took responsibility for China he can bring high-level ancestors and organize them. China is the birthplace of Confucianism. India is the birthplace of Buddhism. All things should be unified. The Middle East must be unified centering on their religions and Mohammed. The Communist world has been torn apart in various ways. It should also be unified centering on True Parents. All the different worlds must be united centering on True Parents on earth. I must hold a proclamation ceremony here to set the foundation for the physical world to work on.
That’s how important today, the fifth of August, is. If I add the numbers eight and five, I get thirteen. If I multiply eight times five, I get the number forty. On the foundation of four thousand years’ of history, the unified standard of the liberated heavenly and physical worlds centered on the established kingship must be connected to all the families on earth and in the heavenly world.
Although the spirit world is already unified, we don’t have a unified foundation on earth. Therefore, we must build our foundation, starting from the neighborhood level and expanding it to cover the entire nation. That is why we have to have a proclamation ceremony. Due to this proclamation ceremony, the people in the spirit world can be resurrected on earth and cooperate with those in the physical world to bring the providence to a conclusion. A system of cooperation will inevitably come about. Do you understand? You must grasp the importance of this proclamation ceremony.
It’s 10 o’clock. You should all stand up. Those in the front row should hold hands with the person standing next to you. Beginning with those in the second row, you should put both your hands on the shoulders of the person standing in front of you. You should stand straight!
Heung-jin gun and his brothers and sister, the four saints centering on Jesus, spiritual leaders centering on Socrates and all the people in the spirit world who have been blessed so far are here with us.
I have to proclaim this for you, so that you can take the responsibility to transcend the boundaries of the nation and of the world in your own areas in order to help realize unification. Unimaginable things will happen from now, so you must be confident enough to go forward and further forward. You should participate in this ceremony with that kind of attitude. Do you understand? [Yes.] You should all pay attention!
Benediction and Proclamation
Beloved Heavenly Father, today is the second year of Cheon Il Guk, August 5 of 2002. The four saints and sages centering on God in heaven are united together to receive the blessing. It is now time for me to order these people to march for the sake of their hometown and the liberation of our homeland. You have wanted to see this day. True Parents have wanted to see this day. We are truly, truly, truly grateful to see this hour while living on earth, Father.
You have allowed us to see the age when the [spirit world] resolution was determined, the holding of the Coronation Ceremony for the Kingship of God, and the Rally for the Unity and Completed Settlement of the Parents of Heaven and Earth, and with that, the “Realm of Life” centering on our family life. Each one of us is responsible to create the world of one heart, one body and one mindset through interaction between the spiritual and physical worlds.
All the saints and sages centering on the four saints in the spirit world, the leaders under them and laymen on earth must develop a brotherly relationship. They should be as close to each other as older and younger brothers and sisters. The ones who are older should not mind taking up the position of the ones who are younger and those who are younger should be able to take up the position of those who are older. Each person here is responsible to pioneer the course of liberation in the heavenly world.
We are within your sphere of protection and love, Father, You who are transcending the differences and creating oneness between South and North Korea, the East and the West, the South Pole and the North Pole, rich and poor people, and uniting the world divided into heaven and earth, which have been separated. Centering on this day, August 5th, the spirit world and the physical world are connected, together with the Heavenly Parent and True Parents. We are holding this proclamation ceremony for the sake of the settlement of the family ideal and the liberation of all the people of the universe who stand as one in desiring the realm of oneness called for in the [spirit world] resolution.
Father, I know you are with us. The blessed couples in the heavenly world, the True Children in the spirit world centering on Heung-jin nim, and Confucius, Buddha, and Mohammed centering on Jesus are all present with us. Together with those holding important positions in this nation, centering on and united with True Parents, these people have set the direction for a unified world. With Heaven, centering on the fifth part of the Family Pledge, we must advance farther and farther along the road of divine accomplishment.
Therefore, all things of the cosmos must be focused on this proclamation ceremony. In front of the unified realm of the heart of God and that of True Parents, saints and holy people in the spirit world and the nations, religious spheres and those who belong to WANGO and all people on earth must become one centered on the Unificationist community. Then, on Your behalf, God, we, the True Parents, allow these people to march forward to a unified spiritual and physical world within twelve to fourteen years.
From the moment You allow us, each one of our families must be connected to our entire tribe and our people to eventually be in unity with those who have been liberated from hell. We must clear the way from the level of the local neighborhood up to provinces and nations to the world. We must advance closer and closer toward accomplishing the unification between the heavenly kingdom on earth and in heaven. We, the True Parents, resolve and proclaim this on behalf of God. Please let the proclamation be realized!
We are truly grateful for the grace of the blessing. I sincerely pray all of this in the name of True Parents and proclaim this, proclaim this, proclaim this! Amen! [Amen!] Amen! [Amen!] Amen! [Amen!]
Everyone please sit down. We have concluded the proclamation ceremony for the realm of life. There is nothing for you to be afraid of and I hope that you will fulfill your responsibility in your respective areas. Okay? [Yes.]
When you return home, you must dedicate yourselves sincerely for the work in an organization about which I’m going to explain to you later. I hope that you will inherit the kingship with God’s blessing by becoming filial children, loyal citizens, saints and holy people. Please march forward to the liberated Heavenly Kingdom! Thank you.

Father Speaks (Second Session)
From now, you must give lectures with the mindset that you are living in the realm of life. You should give lectures on the worldwide level. You should understand the entire content of the speech I gave at the proclamation ceremony for the Unity and Completed Settlement of the Parents of Heaven and Earth.
The place is now packed even in the back. Have many people come late? [Yes.] Is anyone here from Gyeongsang Province and Cholla Province? [Yes!] Those who came late have louder voices! (Laughter) That’s good. It should be that way. Those who came late are almost like dropouts. However, if those who are from the southern provinces shout loudly and wake up everyone from the northern parts of Korea, then they are okay.

This is the message to be given at the rally for the Realm of Life of the Unity and Completed Settlement of the Parents of Heaven and Earth. You should learn the content well and put it into practice. The question is how well you can build the foundation and environment in your own daily lives. That is your calling and responsibility from now on.
You look so much livelier after having had breakfast. Before, it seemed from your eyes that your spirits were not there. (Laughter) I’d better have a look at the faces in the back, to see if there are some capable people….
If forty million South Koreans and forty million Japanese were to intermarry, they would be able to liberate North Korea. If South Koreans married Chinese in the same way, we should be able to move North Korea. Once we have that many Chinese on our side, Russia could also be moved. If Koreans, Japanese, Chinese and Russians are all intermarried, we could then include the U.S.A. That is how the unification can be carried out, automatically.
Because that is the fastest way, I urged you to intermarry when I told you that I would no longer match you. Leaders of each nation should be examples. Those who have a high social standing should be married to those who do not, and vice versa. You should intermarry!
Intermarriage between people in higher and lower strata of society and between those from enemy nations will surely produce a new race, a people of peace. God can prepare a kingly foundation with them. If enemies on the vertical and horizontal levels, left and right and front and back marry and create families of peace to create God’s new blood lineage, He will surely come and bless this royal foundation. Do you understand? [Yes.]
If there are Korean families willing to sacrifice their lives for the sake of the enemy world, they can dominate their enemies’ ancestors. Those ancestors will save their lives in return; put them in the elder brother’s position and help them enter the heavenly nation. That is the Principle point of view. This isn’t something I made up. Do you understand? [Yes.]
Now the time has come when sons and daughters of the satanic world and sons and daughters of the heavenly nation must intermarry and create families without any boundaries. In that way, South and North will be one. What comes next? Japan is the enemy nation of Korea, isn’t it? Once Koreans and Japanese intermarry, there will be progress toward liberation on the worldwide level. That way, the tribal-level enemies, South and North Korea, and the national-level enemies, Korea and Japan, should be united through marriages. Not only the mother nation and the father nation but also the elder son nation must be included in this movement for intermarrying.
Even if all the people of Japan and Korea were to get married to Americans, there would still be a lot of people left in the U.S. There are about twice as many people in the U.S. I am saying that if all the people in the world intermarry, a world of peace will surely become a reality….
Now we must make a new organization in Korea. We are the family home association that builds world peace and unification beyond the bounds of religion, nationality and NGOs. We must be the family home association that rises above political struggles between the ruling and opposition political parties. We should solve the world’s problems and liberate each nation in that way.
What does the family home association mean? Once people receive the right education they become the children of God, abandoning the fallen blood lineage and breaking down all the walls in the world following the command of the Parents of Heaven and Earth.
When Adam and Eve fell, they didn’t have their own nation. Do you understand? Because you don’t have your own heavenly nation, you must expand God’s influence from your families to your tribes. If your heavenly tribe could form a community or village, you’d be able to start the simplest level of civic organization. The block you live on is the formation level, your neighborhood is the growth level, and your city district is the perfection level. In the country, clusters of homes are the formation level, small villages are the growth level and townships are the perfection level….Centering on your tribe, you should digest everything where you live from the block up to the province, until you’ve digested the entire nation. After restoring it all, you can be in the older-brother position and organize marriages up to the city level. Then, a unified world of peace will be realized….
Everything will be fulfilled if you live the way I do. Things will work out for you. Everything fits logically. Because in Adam’s family Cain killed Abel, I have been hit by Cain on the worldwide level. However, they couldn’t kill me. Individuals, families, tribes, peoples and nations on the worldwide level, and even the UN, opposed me but they couldn’t get rid of me. The Lord of the Second Advent stands above the realm of dominion based on accomplishments through the Principle. Therefore, no matter to what extreme Satan goes to in trying to destroy me, he cannot. Do you understand? [Yes.]
The Korean government did all sorts of things to destroy me. Among other things, they put me in prison. The American government also wanted to get rid of me by sending me to prison. They must have drunk champagne to celebrate finally putting me into Danbury prison. However, it was not I but their government that declined…. The United States, Japan and Korea do not have true owners. I’m trying to raise true owners in those three nations.
God may look humble and have nothing, but He stands in the position of the king of liberation going beyond any boundary with heaven and earth under His control. True Parents are in the same position. So you watch what I do. You may not believe me, but wait and see. Those who don’t believe me will drop out. When I move this way, you should be one with me and move in the same direction.
Centering on God, a young man and a young woman get married, the fire of their love bursts out, and they give birth to sons and daughters with God. Those who are born from true parents with God can go straight to the heavenly nation. They can make a huge leap. The time has come when things like that are possible.
I’ve explained everything to you very clearly. I’ll leave up to you whether or not you decide to live or die. A former president of the Unification Church and many members of the Church have passed away, but I never visited them on their death beds. You must understand how serious I am.
From now, you have to be the heads of your block, neighborhood, district or village associations. Do you understand? All the members must be involved in this. You have to bless your relatives. With those blessed relatives, you must organize within your own hamlets and villages. You can help capable people to become the heads of villages.
There is the Professors World Peace Academy, and many other organizations made up of quality people. You should get them involved, too. Some registered blessed members are here from overseas, and people who used to be government ministers back in their own countries will also come. You should get them all involved and put them in charge of this movement.
No one wants to take on the job of neighborhood association chief. When I told you to become the leaders of your districts, you all wanted to go straight to being the district chief without passing through the stage of being the head of a neighborhood association. Many of you missed your chance, therefore. Do you understand what I mean? [Yes.] You should start at the bottom by being the head of a block association and then advance to being the head of your neighborhood, district and so forth. This would progress automatically.
However, all the district divisions and administrative positions are already in place. Therefore, you should try being assistants to the heads of block or neighborhood associations. If three of you become assistants to the head of a block association, you’ll be able to turn the block around in no time. Do you understand? If we had more people, we could do the same for villages in the suburban areas.
There are many homes in one block. You should really focus on one block and educate people. You should educate people with Unification Thought, Victory Over Communism theory and the Principle. You should use those books as your textbooks….You should distribute them throughout the entire country. You must educate people on your blocks and in your neighborhoods with those books. You should have people buy them.
Who are you expecting to help you in building your own nation? You mustn’t owe anyone. You have been living freely off of me! Now you have well-known people living on your blocks. You have national messiahs, ambassadors for peace, and professors. All blessed families must work with the block and neighborhood associations. You should go up from the bottom, from hamlets to villages and districts, and then get provincial governors and congressmen involved. That’s how you should organize things….
Those who are in Abel’s position must teach those who are on the Cain side. When three of you work for one village, one should teach the Divine Principle to the head of the village; the second person should be in charge of the political aspect and the third person should be responsible for the economic aspect. Three people should really work hard together for one village. You should help your Cain elder brother by doing things for him. In that way, you can establish yourselves in that village or city district. Then everything will be okay.
We must support the Cain realm as Abels. We should support those who are really capable, irrespective of their political position. Do you understand? [Yes.] We must educate provincial governors and other important leaders as soon as possible. Do you understand? [Yes.]
What is the purpose of all this? The purpose of our education is to raise important leaders for the era of a unified South and North Korea. That’s why we must educate both the ruling and opposition party politicians. We are the family home association, educating people regardless of differences in people’s political positions. Parties are like families. If the opposition party is like the mother, the ruling party is like the father. If the opposition party is like the younger brother, the ruling party is like the older brother. If the opposition party is like the wife, the ruling party is like the husband. They are all families. That’s why we have to be the family home association! We must teach people that fact and establish a national level organization according to God’s desire.
We have national messiahs. They are appointed as viceroys, like Abel-type kings. National messiahs are in the position to mobilize Ambassadors for Peace and to guide their nations to the heavenly side. Some day, the UN will function according to heavenly law.
Things will happen as fast as within several months or even several weeks. Once people understand the point of view of the Principle, they will support anyone belonging to our organization.
You should establish yourselves as people who can freely go in and out of the government administrative offices and educate both the ruling and opposition parties. Each province has its own ruling party and opposition party organization. You should educate them at the same time. And you should support those who are capable of being true leaders in positions at a high level of responsibility and congressmen in the age of a unified South and North Korea.
It is the responsibility of the family home association to raise the leaders of a unified South and North Korea. Do you understand? [Yes.] We are the family home association, which transcends the ruling and opposition parties for the sake of world peace and unification!
If you organize things systematically, we can liberate the nation as God wants. Once we have a few nations established like, that I am confident the world will turn around within forty days.
No one knew it until now and no one has dared to make use of what we have. I’ve gone through all kinds of struggles to gain what we have. The sixteen richest conglomerates in the world have tried to destroy me but they ended up losing. There are so many stories I could tell. I can’t be defeated. I have worked to embrace all kinds of enemies while taking the lead. Of course, there have been so many high, steep mountains that had to climbed in the course of my life. That’s why so many of our numbers dropped out.
We have made all the legal preparations to stop those who oppose us. So you can all go out and pioneer your course with no worries. That’s my prayer for you! Amen! [Amen!] (Applause)
You should complete the blessing of your relatives within six months. You won’t face any problems. Your uncles, your brothers and in-laws are all blessing candidates. So everything will work out well. You will have victory in everything you do! You must believe that God will be with you and march forward. I truly want you to receive God’s blessing by bringing the victory to Him.
I’m going to miss all of your faces! All the blessed people, including the four saints, in the spirit world who have received the Cheon Il Guk citizenship card are very happy now. They will do their best to work harder than you do. They will be totally united together, but are you all united? You aren’t united, are you? You don’t have a nation, do you? Because you are working to go beyond the national boundary, you should at least pray that you’ll work harder than those who are in the spirit world. If you’re at least willing in your heart not to spare your sweat and blood for the providence, you won’t be defeated in competition with the spirit world.
You must absolutely believe in Father. You must love Father more. You must obey the Parents of Heaven and Earth. Do you understand? [Yes.] I hope you’ll do your utmost to gain power and be victorious.u
