True Parents’ Benediction at the International Blessing of 400 Million Couples Fourth Phase, on July 13, 2003 at Yu Gwan Sun Gymnasium, Chonan, Korea
Beloved Heavenly Father! Today is July 13 in the third year of Cheon Il Guk, and we are gathered here in Yu Gwan Sun Gymnasium, where the fourth phase of the International Blessing of 400 Million Couples–of good men and women–is being carried out under the eyes of people from 186 nations of the world, blessed families both in the spirit world and the physical world, the Cosmic Parent and the Parents of Heaven and Earth.
We know that this occasion, upon which the eyes of people throughout the whole cosmos are riveted, is the place of blessing You have so wished for–the occasion where we are establishing the basis to find Your nation, and the starting base upon which You can build Your family. Therefore, please be present at this ceremony, and embrace everything here in its entirety, including the brides and bridegrooms, and the guests, surrounding them in Your bosom of grace. Please allow the Kingdom of Heaven on earth–the liberated physical world of glory, and the Kingdom of Heaven in heaven–the liberated spiritual world, to become one in heart, in mindset and in body, and bestow on us the grace to enter the era of the kingship of love and Your liberated Kingdom of Heaven on earth and in heaven, by leading us in this ceremony in person.
Father, because the original ancestors fell, this world could not become a world of goodness but instead was connected to hell, representing the world of evil. Please take pity on the people of the world who are seeing, living, experiencing and feeling this reality every day. In order to restore fallen mankind, the world should be restored to its original state before the fall, become the world of the ideal of creation that You have desired, in which You can eternally reside with us. But instead, Your kingdom was lost, and Your will for mankind to become Your sons and daughters, to make a family of love and become true parents, and for the Cosmic Parent and the substantial being of Adam to become the temple of God so as to establish the Parents of Heaven and Earth, was undermined.
Because of this, and because we have been living in an isolated situation, surrounded completely by the realm of Satan since we lost Your kingdom, we lost the foundation upon which we were to restore the sovereignty of Your kingdom, restore Your family in order to restore humankind that has been lost, set up sons and daughters centered on Your family and carry out the Holy Marriage Blessing of God and True Parents centering on Your kingdom which represents heaven and earth. We know of all this, and also that since the parents could not have the holy wedding ceremony centering on the nation, the foundation upon which the children’s births could be registered was lost as well. Father!
The whole of humanity, and even the ancestors who have gone to the spirit world, do not know that this fallen world resulted from losing the grandsons and granddaughters of God, who would have been the third generation of Your family, with You as the first generation and Adam as the second. But You have been carrying out the providence of restoration until now, and walking a path of suffering in order to restore Your nation and the family. Your plan was to set up the nation of Israel on earth, centering on Jacob’s family and the twelve brothers who could settle on earth. Thus, the realm of Israel was to begin. Along with that, the nation of Israel and the Jewish faith, centering on the Israelites, were to become one in order to establish Your nation, which could win over the satanic world and finally carry out the holy blessing. We know that this is the purpose for which You sent the Messiah to earth.
However, Jesus, who was to hold the marriage supper of the lamb, which is the final ideal of the New Testament, and digest and completely absorb Rome, the satanic world in the position of Cain, along with the tribes of Israel, could not complete his mission. Since the people of Israel and the Jewish faith did not accept Jesus, as we know, a lot of bitter pain remained in history, and the realm of the second Israel was lost.
That is why the people of this world had to become the tools of the Jewish faith centering on Jesus, and the tools of the people of Israel, and set up many different religious denominations and go through a history of conflict, so that by centering on the love, life and bloodline from the one God, these people could establish connected families, clans, tribes, nations and world and engraft the bloodline that had been defiled by the satanic world, so that the wild olive tree could become a true olive tree.
All nations centered on the one nation, which have been fighting with each other in the position of enemies seeking to destroy religion, were supposed to center on Jesus, the Messiah and center on Israel to make all religions and all nations one, find the Cain nation of the world and restore the sovereignty of God’s nation. However, the day when this was to be realized has been lost.
For this reason, another two thousand years of history had to pass centering on the purpose of the Second Coming, and finally the moment we have been waiting for has come: True Parents have come on the world and the cosmic level in order to make up for the mistake of Adam, who had lost the blood lineage. In order to digest and absorb this world, which has been defiled by the false love, false life, and false blood lineage of the false parents, our rightful relationship with the true love, true life and true blood lineage of the Cosmic Parent and the Parents of Heaven and Earth centered on God was to be remade to bring about the start of a new family. Then the clan, tribe, nation, world and cosmos–and heaven and earth united into one–were to become part of the love, life and blood lineage of God, digest the satanic world and make the orchard of wild olive trees into an orchard of true olive trees. It has been Your cherished hope to be able to fulfill all of Your will and to secure the harvest of fruit from that orchard of true olive trees for heaven.
Because the first wedding was solemnized improperly, things turned out as they have. True Parents therefore had to appear and, standing at this time at the highest point of the world, expand the blessing to become the wedding of rebirth, wedding of life, wedding of resurrection, wedding of nations, and even to the wedding of the liberation of the cosmos, through the marriage blessing and the second blessing. As You have given this place of blessing that represents all people of the world, the family, clan, tribe, nation, world and the whole of the cosmos–all of which can take dominion centered on Your kingdom, transcending nations and the world–are standing before You.
Now, the United States and the United Nations, along with Cain, Abel and the religious faith that Israel lost, as well as Israel itself are in the era of the Second Advent. The first, second and third Israels of the world have become one and united the UN and the Cain world into one, and are serving the Parents of Heaven and Earth on this foundation of unity. We are therefore very grateful to You for allowing us this place of blessing, where your ardent wish for the restoration of the sovereignty of Your nation to the ideal of creation can finally come true in heaven and on earth.
Please bestow the grace of liberation, resurrection and the restoration national sovereignty on the more than three thousand couples present here today from among the 400 million couples, and on the numerous blessed families in 186 nations around the world, and accept them with the joy of the blessing of the opening of the gates of heaven, through which the individuals, families and all the spirits in the spirit world will march through in fine array, with one heart, one mindset and one body, into God’s nation and the victorious Kingdom of Heaven. Proclaim to all the realm of resurrection of the liberation of all nations and people once more, so that the mind and body of individuals can unite as one and leaders of nations and religious leaders can also unite as one. Allow them to complete the miracle of opening the gates of the kingdom of heaven on earth and in heaven, so that they will march faster into the world of the blessing on the cosmic level.
As we have passed through the era of restoration through indemnity, we offer You our promise, at the scene of the blessing ceremony, to advance into the world of freedom, happiness and peace, in which Heaven, taking responsibility to lead, will be able to reign as it wishes. Please accept our offering. May You take the position of the owner of the blessing of the world, become the parent, teacher and king of love over all nations and all creation, and finally advance–to cheers of “eok mansei”–into Your global kingdom both in heaven and on earth to enjoy an eternal, unchanging, peaceful and prosperous reign. For these things I offer this prayer of blessing, this report and declaration. Amen! Amen! Amen!
