From 26 to 31 May, Rev. Doo Seong Yeon and Mrs. Doo Song Hee conducted a series of inspiring meetings and leadership engagements across Albania, Italy, and Spain, strengthening the connection between local Heavenly Parent’s Communities and True Mother’s worldwide providence.
Albania
On the afternoon of 26 May, the Albanian Heavenly Parent’s Community gathered at the Peace Embassy to welcome Rev. and Mrs. Doo. More than 130 brothers and sisters participated in person, while additional members joined online. The atmosphere was heartfelt and uplifting as Rev. Doo shared True Mother’s heart and conveyed her message of encouragement. He emphasized the importance of supporting True Mother through sincere faith, unity, and personal commitment to the providence.
Earlier that day, Rev. and Mrs. Doo, together with Dr. Michael Balcomb, Mr. Marion, and their team, held a special meeting with former President of Albania, H.E. Alfred Moisiu. During the warm and friendly discussion, President Moisiu fondly recalled his meetings with True Parents in 2005 during his presidency and his meeting with True Mother during her visit to Albania in 2019. The gathering reaffirmed the long-standing relationship between Albania and the movement’s vision for peace and interfaith cooperation.
Italy
On 27 May, a special meeting was held in Bergamo, Italy, bringing together approximately 90 blessed family members from both the first and second generations, attending in person and online. The event provided an important opportunity to share updates from Korea, information regarding True Mother’s health and recent guidance, and future directions from the World Mission Department.
The program began with a dinner attended by key leaders, followed by opening songs and prayer.
Reports were presented by FFWPU Italy, the Bergamo community, UPF Italy, and WFWP Italy, highlighting ongoing activities and achievements. Rev. Doo then delivered an inspiring address, followed by an engaging question-and-answer session. The meeting concluded with a gift presentation, closing remarks, a final song, and a commemorative group photograph.
Spain
On 28 May, Rev. and Mrs. Doo met with members in Barcelona for a special gathering focused on sharing messages and strengthening unity within the community. The program included welcoming remarks, songs, prayer, an offering of flowers, and an introduction to Rev. Doo. His message was followed by a lively question-and-answer session that allowed participants to engage directly with current providential developments. The event concluded with additional songs and a final prayer.
On 30 May, a leaders’ meeting was held at the Tongil Center in Madrid, bringing together national and regional leaders. The gathering featured presentations from the South-West Region, followed by discussion and an extensive question-and-answer session addressing future plans and challenges.
The visit culminated on 31 May with a Sunday Service and Leadership Transition Ceremony. During the service, Rev. Doo delivered the sermon, accompanied by songs, prayer, silent meditation, and a closing prayer. The transition ceremony officially inaugurated a new trinity leadership team consisting of Jiae Moon as Representative to Europe and the International Community, David Piqué as National Pastor, and Carlos Badosa as National Secretary.
The ceremony also honored the dedicated service of outgoing leaders Maryvonne and Miguel through messages of appreciation, certificates, and gifts. The newly appointed leaders offered remarks and received congratulations, flowers, and a celebratory cake-cutting. The event concluded with a collective prayer, final songs, and a group photograph, marking a hopeful new chapter for the movement in Spain.
Throughout the tour, Rev. and Mrs. Doo strengthened communication between local communities and True Mother, encouraged members through heartfelt guidance, and reinforced the vision of unity, leadership development, and continued growth across Europe.
