Thirty young people from the EUME region joined the Pure Water Assembly 2026 in Korea for a transformative journey of spiritual depth, heritage discovery, and community building across 15 Days, from August 13 to 26, 2026. Combining profound pilgrimage encounters with energetic youth activities and high-level leadership dialogues, the assembly strengthened faith, dissolved cultural boundaries, and empowered the next generation of leaders.
Spiritual Immersion and Sacred Pilgrimages
The assembly’s spiritual foundation was established early at the Cheon Jeong Gung (CWG), where participants were deeply moved by the sacred atmosphere, overcoming initial language barriers through simultaneous translation tools and family support. Subsequent pilgrimages expanded this inner foundation:
Cheon Il Sanctum & Cheon Shim Won: Youth offered heartfelt personal letters to Heavenly Parent, observed traditional holy water practices, and maintained regular vigil prayer conditions.
Excursions & Nature: Participants experienced the breathtaking HJ Marina boat trip, the vibrant Begonia Garden, and the sacred peaks of Mt. Balwangsan in Yong Pyong.
Seoul Heritage Tour: The pilgrimage visited historical sites, including Heuk Seok Dong, the UPF Peace Embassy, and the original Cheongpa-Dong HQ Church, where youth reconnected with the sacrificial foundation of True Parents. At the War Memorial of Korea, participants from conflict-affected nations gathered for earnest peace prayers.
Educational Depth and Leadership Dialogues
Lectures throughout the program covered True Parents’ life course, Chambumoron, and the dynamic multi-part presentation of the Great Epic of the Chosen People by Secretary General Kim Jae-hyun.
A defining highlight took place on Day 9 during an interactive Q&A session with inheritors Moon Shin-Chul and Moon Shin-Heung. The session addressed deeply personal questions regarding identity, faith journeys, and the concept of “pure water.” Moon Shin-Chul emphasized that lineage labels matter far less than living in unity with God’s will and working together for world peace.
Special lectures by Rev. Doo and Mr. Imai further enriched the schedule, offering guidance on youth life of faith, personal sacrifice, and devotion to Heavenly Parent.
Fellowship, Cultural Expression, and Media Integration
Fellowship flourished through diverse team-building activities, sports, and media-focused workshops:
Action & Games: Teams united during the high-energy “Heavenly Squid Games,” alpine coaster rides, and outdoor sports matches.
Moon Hyo Jin Music Festival (MMF): Held at the CheongShim International Youth Center, youth explored interactive digital booths, media archives, and live musical performances by second-generation bands and Moon Shin-Chul, celebrating the artistic and media legacy of Hyo Jin Nim.
Creative Showcases: Participants highlighted their talents through the PW Action Challenge Showcase, Open Mic night, creative photo challenges, and high-dedication performances during Cultural Night.
Blessing Focus and Future Outlook
As the program drew to a close, sessions focused on internal preparation for the Blessing, featured candid testimony sharing from blessed couples, UPA program presentations, and continental reflection meetings.
The assembly culminated in a moving closing ceremony featuring diploma presentations, flower offerings, and an address by Moon Shin-Heung on the necessity of maintaining community bonds. Participants departed with renewed spiritual clarity, strong cross-cultural friendships, and concrete commitments toward future 40-day workshops and the Blessing.
