The Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) Metro Manila Community had the privilege of hosting the Moshim Workshop and Pastoral Visitation from May 27 to 31, 2026. This marked the fifteenth and final congregational culmination of the nationwide Moshim tour across the Philippines. This meaningful initiative, which combined workshop sessions with personal home visitations, aimed to strengthen pastoral care, deepen members’ understanding of the current providence centering on True Mother (Holy Mother Han), and cultivate a culture of sincere, heart-centered relationships within the church community.
Pastoral Visitations (May 27–28)
The pastoral visitations were conducted for eight Blessed Families, led by Philippine Regional Director Rev. Ronnie Sodusta alongside the National Moshim team. The first day of visitations was especially blessed by the presence of the Asia Pacific Continental Director, Rev. Yutaka Yamada, who personally joined the home visits. Families expressed their heartfelt joy and gratitude for the rare opportunity to welcome representatives of True Parents into their homes and receive intimate updates regarding True Parents and the current providence.
The Moshim Workshop (May 30–31)
The Moshim Workshop was held at the Metro Manila Family Church in Quezon City, gathering 88 Blessed Families and members.
- Day 1: Vision & Synergy: The Moshim Team presented the vision and significance of Moshim as a pastoral care system that promotes genuine care, family-centered guidance, and spiritual growth. The lectures helped participants gain a deeper understanding of each member’s role in nurturing a supportive faith community. Interactive group discussions and breakout sharing sessions allowed participants to exchange local experiences, identify ministerial challenges, and explore practical solutions.
- Day 2: Unified Sunday Service: A Unified Sunday Service brought together members from nearby churches both onsite and via Zoom. Rev. Yutaka Yamada delivered a special message emphasizing the core values of building families of true love to establish Cheon Il Guk. Following this, Rev. Ronnie D. Sodusta delivered the Sunday sermon, highlighting the personal responsibility of every Blessed Family to cultivate their spiritual lives and deepen their relationship with Heavenly Parent and True Parents, thereby contributing to the development of the local church.
As the final community to host the Moshim tour, the Metro Manila Family Church concluded the nationwide initiative with a renewed commitment to implement these pastoral principles. Members expressed deep appreciation for the team’s dedication and resolved to fully support and unite with our beloved True Mother.
Member Reflections
Mr. Jun Young Teves, Blessed Family Member “Thank you for organizing this workshop. Personally, the parts I found most helpful were the National Update by Rev. Ronnie Sodusta, the Membership Database resource by Mrs. Mary Grace Carumba, and the message on the current providential course by Dr. Julius Malicdem.
The National Update helped me better understand the current direction of our movement, while the Membership Database session was highly practical—Mrs. Carumba wonderfully addressed real concerns during the Q&A. Finally, Dr. Malicdem’s message gave me a clearer view of our parallel mission concepts today and helped me understand exactly where we stand in providential history. Overall, the workshop was excellent for keeping us updated.”
Mr. Gilbert Datay, Blessed Family Member “Through attending this Moshim Workshop, I learned that witnessing is more than just speaking about beliefs—it is showing them through our actions, attitudes, and daily life. It invites us to be examples of hope and love. Effective witnessing comes from humility rather than pressure, listening rather than judging, and serving rather than seeking recognition.
I also gained a deeper appreciation for tithing. It is an act of worship, gratitude, and trust. When we give, we acknowledge that everything we have—our resources, abilities, and blessings—ultimately comes from Heavenly Parent and True Parents. Tithing is an invitation to grow in faith and stewardship, reminding us that true wealth is found in how faithfully we use what God has placed in our hands for His purposes.”
