The Philippine Blessed Children Department successfully conducted the BC Summer Camp 2024, a national event designed for blessed children aged 13-18 years old for the summer term. This year’s theme, “I Am Heavenly Parent’s Child,” aimed to inspire and empower young participants to realize their potential and grow spiritually, ensuring that blessed children understand and embrace their identity as Heavenly Parent’s children. Moreover, the camp sought to educate them on the significance of True Parents and the Unification Tradition. The camp was held in various regions across the Philippines to accommodate participants from different areas.
The Southern Luzon leg took place in Cavite from June 15-17, 2024, gathering 19 participants. The Visayas camp was held in Cebu from June 22-24, 2024, with 4 participants. In Northern Luzon, the camp was hosted in Baguio City from June 29 – July 1, 2024, with 40 participants. Lastly, the Mindanao camp concluded the series in Davao from July 6-8, 2024, with 31 participants.
Throughout the camps, blessed children participants engaged in various empowering lectures and challenge activities to develop their sense of identity and relationship with Heavenly Parent and cultivate a culture of living for the sake of others. The main lecturer for the Summer Camps, Mr. Hiroto Guingayan, the PBCD Head, delivered impactful sessions on topics essential for their age group. These sessions included Identity, Pure Love, Life of Faith, Overcoming Oneself, Goal-Setting, and Community Building. Additionally, the participants enjoyed team-building activities and group sharings, which helped them bond and build heartistic relationships with their brothers and sisters centered on the love of Heavenly Parent and True Parents.
The participants gained renewed enthusiasm and a profound longing for the blessed children community, especially for Heavenly Parent and True Parents. They realized the immense value of their Heavenly Lineage and pledged a heartfelt determination to keep their purity, receive the Blessing in the future, and become global leaders who can work alongside our beloved True Parents. Their resolve to reconnect with fellow blessed children and youth in their regions strengthened, sharing shared convictions to be more active in their community. Area Leaders, inspired by the dedication and spirit of the participants, have also committed to providing even more support to the blessed children community in their respective areas. The BC Summer Camp 2024 concluded with victory, signaling another chapter in the lives of these future leaders of the heavenly providence.
