In summary the Hyojeong Rang Special 40-Day Youth leadership workshop marked the beginning of a new Africa as the theme of the workshop suggested “The dawn of the New Africa”. Unlike other workshops in the past this leadership workshop was designed to really instil the heart of Hyojeong in all the youth leaders as well as equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills to implement the youth plans in their nation and sub region. We believe that we need to inherit first the foundation of our elders, so we had lectures and testimonies from our Cheon Eui Won Co-Chairs, Regional President, Sub Regional Directors. At the same time to prepare them to lead in the era of the Settlement of CIG nations The youth envoys also shared what they learnt during their training in UPA, including topics such as the Current Providence, membership care, leadership empowerment, vision and strategy making, business development and CIG tradition and culture. They also took part in Tong Il Moodo training, Korean lessons and even took part in a condition of Fundraising to create the foundation to begin the process of the African youth donation for the Cheon Wong Gung and Cheon Il Sanctum.
With the closing of this historic workshop bringing in the new appointments of the youth leaders, there is no doubt a lot of hope was felt by the leaders and parents as they could see the youth of Africa stand to take ownership of the providence. All honor and glory is given to Heavenly Parent and True Mother who has truly paved the way and provided the vision for this program to be created in the first place. We want to give special thanks to the Cheon Eui Won Co-Chairs, Regional President, Sub Regional Directors and all National Leaders and Blessed Families who have shown their utmost support in giving their donations, time and prayers for the success of this workshop and this leadership program. Lastly, we want to thank the youth leaders themselves for their investment, determination and love for our beloved Heavenly Parent and True Parents and for their commitment to take the baton to lead Shin Africa into the future.
