Over the weekend of May 23 to 24, 2026, the FFWPU Germany community gathered at the Neumühle Training Center in Bad Camberg for its annual Pentecost Festival. Continuing a cherished tradition that began in 2007, this landmark 19-year anniversary gathering brought together generations of families from across the nation. The absolute highlight of the weekend was a profoundly moving, open-hearted sermon delivered by Rev. Seung Yeon Doo, which ignited a powerful spirit of revival, unity, and renewed vision for the community.
Since its inception in 2006, the Pentecost Festival at the Neumühle Training Center has served as a spiritual cornerstone for FFWPU Germany. Pentecost—traditionally a time celebrating the descent of the Holy Spirit and the birth of a unified community—provides the perfect backdrop for this annual pilgrimage.
Nestled in the serene nature of Bad Camberg, Neumühle once again transformed into a vibrant village of faith, culture, and reunion. From elders who attended the very first gathering twenty years ago to the energetic third-generation youth, the atmosphere was charged with the joy of homecoming.
The beautiful spring weather allowed for outdoor activities, shared meals, and deep conversations, bridging generational gaps and strengthening community bonds. The band INTUNE elevated the collective spirit with powerful musical performances that set a deeply reflective yet celebratory tone. Parallel sessions focused on the role of the family in modern society, offering practical and spiritual guidance for parents and young adults.
The definitive highlight of the festival took place during the main service, when Rev. Seung Yeon Doo took the stage. Moving away from rigid formalities, Rev. Doo delivered an incredibly candid, open-hearted sermon that resonated deeply with everyone present.

Key Themes of the Sermon:
- Radical Vulnerability: Rev. Doo shared personal reflections and challenges, instantly breaking down barriers and creating an intimate atmosphere of trust. He reminded the congregation that true spiritual strength begins with honesty and humility.
- Rekindling the First Love: He called upon the community to look past routine and reconnect with the original passion that defined the early days of their faith movement.
- A Culture of Empathy: Emphasizing the core values of FFWPU, he urged members to practice an “open-heart policy” in their daily lives—listening to one another with genuine empathy and unconditional love to heal past wounds and build a resilient community.
“The Holy Spirit does not descend upon grand structures or perfect legalities; it descends into the open, vulnerable hearts of people who dare to love one another genuinely.” — Rev. Seung Yeon Doo
The response to the sermon was tangible. Tears, nods of deep resonance, and standing ovations reflected a collective awakening. It was not merely a speech, but a shared spiritual experience that breathed new life into the German movement.
As the festival concluded on Sunday afternoon, members departed Bad Camberg with a renewed sense of purpose. The 2026 Pentecost Festival did more than honor a 19-year tradition—it recalibrated the compass of FFWPU Germany.

Appointment of Karen Pock as Youth Director for FFWPU Europe and the Middle East (EUME)
The Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) Europe and the Middle East (EUME) has formally announced the appointment of Karen Pock as the new Director for the Youth Department. Moving into this pivotal regional role, Mrs. Pock brings extensive hands-on experience in youth ministry, character education, and missionary leadership.
Her appointment signals a continuation of the region’s focus on raising the “Second Generation” and young adults to become dynamic leaders capable of addressing contemporary cultural, spiritual, and theological challenges.
Prior to her appointment as Regional Youth Director, Karen Pock—alongside her husband, Andreas Pock—served with distinction in critical leadership capacities within the EUME youth providence:
- EMPOWER EUME Missionary Program: As Directors of the EMPOWER program (the region’s Special Task Force / missionary initiative), the Pocks successfully supervised young adults from dozens of countries, guiding them through intense spiritual training, community service, and deep personal faith development.
- HJ Youth Academy: Mrs. Pock served as a core staff member of the HJ Youth Academy. Her work focused heavily on operationalizing “True Mother’s” (Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon’s) vision to raise a pure, purpose-driven next generation that can act as “flowing water” to cleanse and revitalize society.
- Educational Outreach: She has actively co-led major foundational workshops, including the prominent 14-day Divine Principle Workshops in Gaflenz, Austria, and regional youth pilgrimages to South Korea.

As the Director for the Youth of FFWPU Europe and the Middle East, Mrs. Pock will oversee a diverse and vast geographical region. Her primary responsibilities include:
- Strategic Overhaul of Youth Witnessing: Developing modernized Divine Principle and character-education content tailored to the sensibilities of today’s young people—addressing complex topics such as mental well-being, ideological confusions, and healthy relationship frameworks leading up to the Holy Marriage Blessing.
- Synergy Across Youth Sub-Organizations: Coordinating initiatives between CARP (Collegiate Association for the Research of Principles), YSP (Youth and Students for Peace), HARP (Highschool Association for the Research of Principles), and the EMPOWER missionary track.
- Sustainable Membership Frameworks: Building clear, supportive pathways for young adults transitioning from full-time youth activities into careers, family life, and ongoing church membership.
The appointment of Karen Pock marks a refreshing chapter for FFWPU EUME’s next-generation ministry. Known for her patient, investment-oriented, and heart-centered leadership style, Mrs. Pock is well-positioned to bridge the gap between traditional movement ideals and the contemporary challenges faced by young Western and Middle Eastern members today.
The regional leadership requests the full prayers, cooperation, and support of all community leaders, parents, and youth as she steps into this crucial responsibility.
