As part of the National Headquarters’ efforts to encourage church growth, three young volunteer missionaries from the 1st and 2nd CIGCA waves, along with a volunteer second-generation youth from the Bohicon center in Benin, were deployed to Northern Benin—specifically to Ouaké—on August 23, 2026, for a one-month witnessing mission.
On the morning of August 24, a meeting to discuss and launch the special witnessing program took place in the presence of the National Leader, Rev. Woo Sung GUELI, the Secretary General, Ms. Yeon-Sun Ariane TOHA, the Ouaké center leader, Pastor Nazaire EDOUVO, and the four young missionaries.
On this occasion, it was agreed that by the end of their activities, the missionaries would aim to impact 210 local residents and organize at least two seven-day seminars.
Following this meeting, the missionaries began their witnessing activities that very same day. Within three days, they reached fifty-three people. On August 27, 2026, seven of them attended an introductory session on the Divine Principle. On August 28 and 29, 2026, a weekend seminar was held with eight participants, including two previous contacts and six new guests.
Throughout their activities, the missionaries warmly welcomed the invited guests, fostering a friendly environment well-suited for discussion. The participants showed genuine interest in the Divine Principle teachings and greatly appreciated them.
This first phase of the witnessing activities is encouraging and inspires hope that several participants will agree to attend the upcoming seven-day seminar, thereby contributing to the sustainable growth of the Ouaké Church.
