ULYANOVSK, Russia — From August 3 to 12, the city of Ulyanovsk hosted a transformative Divine Principle HARP Summer Workshop, gathering 24 vibrant sixteen-year-olds representing eight distinct regions and cities across Russia. The ten-day seminar seamlessly blended rigorous educational study with dynamic recreation, offering young people a dedicated space for spiritual discovery and cross-regional fellowship.
At the core of the workshop were immersive Divine Principle lectures that guided participants through foundational spiritual concepts, human purpose, and moral development. Rather than treating these concepts as abstract philosophy, the study sessions encouraged active dialogue, empowering the teenagers to ask deep questions, reflect on their own lives, and recognize spiritual laws operating within their personal experiences.
The daily routine balanced classroom learning with hands-on practice. Program organizers designed activities specifically aimed at helping the youth embody these values, integrating sports, physical challenges, and collaborative games into the curriculum. Athletic activities built resilience, trust, and self-discipline, while group challenges required participants to put empathy, selflessness, and honest communication to immediate work.
