The Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) Philippines successfully hosted the 7-Day Spirituality Workshop for Philippine Leaders from July 13–19, 2026. Gathering 60 pastors, youth leaders, and ministry heads from across the region, the workshop took place at the International Peace Leadership College (IPLC) in Tanay, Rizal, with its concluding activities held at the FFWPU Philippines Regional Headquarters.
The workshop was organized to deepen participants’ relationship with Heavenly Parent and True Parents, strengthen their spiritual lives, and cultivate leaders equipped to advance God’s providence in the Philippines.
Program Highlights & Devotional Conditions
The program commenced with an Opening Ceremony on July 13, marking the beginning of an intensive week of spiritual training. Throughout the event, participants observed a disciplined daily schedule that included:
- Holy Ground Prayer & CheonBo ChanYang Yeoksa
- CSW Special Prayer & CSW Night Vigil Prayer
- Daily prayer practice, group devotions, self-reflection, and meditation
- Offering 120 full bows daily
These devotional conditions were offered with sincere hearts as acts of filial attendance to Heavenly Parent and True Parents, expressing collective devotion, gratitude, and unwavering support for True Mother in her ongoing providential course. Despite the physical challenges of the demanding schedule—especially for older leaders—participants embraced each condition with gratitude and perseverance.
Key Lectures & Mentorship
Participants attended special lectures delivered by key leaders:
- Dr. Kim In Cheon emphasized Cheon Il Guk leadership rooted in absolute faith, filial devotion, and sincere attendance.
- Dr. Julius Malicdem highlighted the heart of a true shepherd—marked by humility, sacrificial love, and dedication to mission—reminding leaders that true authority is demonstrated through service and a parental heart.
- Rev. Leo Angelo Halog and Rev. Yutaka Yamada offered guidance on developing the spiritual character needed to advance Heaven’s providence.
The workshop also incorporated reflection sessions, group prayer, a Q&A forum, and reflective writing activities, such as writing Letters to My Future Self and Letters to True Mother.
Three-Day Resonance Workshop & Conclusion
On July 17, participants transitioned to the FFWPU Philippines Regional Headquarters for the Three-Day Resonance Workshop, culminating on July 19 with a Final Reflection Sharing and Closing Ceremony.
During the closing ceremony, participants received certificates of completion. In his congratulatory message, Rev. Yutaka Yamada urged the graduates to embody the spirit of the workshop in their daily lives and ministries by maintaining a life of prayer, attendance, and service, sharing the love of Heavenly Parent and True Parents across their families, churches, and communities.

“I attended this workshop while undertaking a 7-day fast to prepare for my Matching application. Recommended by our church pastor, I accepted this opportunity to grow and learn more about Heavenly Parent and True Parents.
Initially, I doubted whether I could keep up with the intense schedule. However, throughout the workshop, I felt immense strength and encouragement flowing through the lectures and prayers. The sessions made me realize that despite being a youth leader for a long time, I had not fully grasped how to resonate with Heavenly Parent and True Parents. I had let busyness and burnout create a barrier.
Hearing the prayers of our brothers and sisters reignited my heart. As a Sunday School head and youth leader, I had begun to feel exhausted and unmotivated. This workshop helped me realize that my tiredness stemmed from a lack of daily prayer and personal communication with Heaven.

“This Spirituality Workshop was deeply necessary for all frontline leaders. Too often, we become consumed by responsibilities and external results, forgetting that we are simply instruments of Heaven. We get absorbed in ‘reality’ and neglect the internal aspect of our work.
As full-time missionaries, we must never lack sincere devotion, tearful prayers, and daily communication with God. This workshop brought us back to the core spirit of our early church days—a time centered on daily conditions and studying True Parents’ speeches.
Human beings are spiritual beings with physical bodies, not physical bodies with spirits. Therefore, nurturing our spirit self must take priority. A healthy spirit produces lasting victories that cannot be claimed back by Satan.
Through this workshop, I was reminded that God is alive and eagerly wants to guide us. In this CIG era, offering devotion in CheonshimWon mobilizes the spirit world to support our individual, family, and national missions. To be truly successful leaders today, we must cultivate absolute faith, love, and obedience to True Mother, standing on a foundation of absolute purity and filial devotion (hyo jeong).”
