From June 12 to 14, 2026, the Kongo Central region experienced a major moment of mobilization and spiritual strengthening through the holding of the Regional Leaders’ Assembly of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) in Matadi. Centered on the theme “ONE SINGLE PROVINCE, ONE SINGLE PROVIDENCE, ONE SINGLE VISION IN SERVICE OF HOLY MOTHER HAN,” this gathering was a continuation of the guidelines arising from the National General Assembly held in May 2026. It constituted an important milestone in consolidating regional unity and embracing the providential vision carried by True Parents.

The event benefited from the presence and guidance of several prominent figures, notably:
- Reverend Michel FUTILA di-MAYEKO and his wife, national leader of São Tomé and Príncipe.
- The National President of FFWPU DR Congo.
- The Urban President of WFWP Kinshasa.

Day-by-Day Highlights
Day 1: Administration, Accountability, and Prayer
- Pastoral Ethics: The assembly opened with a lecture on pastoral ethics and administration, highlighting the ethical and organizational demands associated with leadership missions in the current providential context.
- Mission Reports: Various providential organizations presented updates offering a comprehensive overview of completed activities, challenges encountered, and future outlooks.
- Leadership Workshops: An inspiring lecture on the theme “BEING A LEADER” invited participants to deepen their understanding of leadership centered on service, accountability, and setting a public example. This was reinforced by group workshops to develop concrete proposals.
- Prayer Vigil: The day concluded with the “ONE CHEON SHIM WON, ONE AFRICA” prayer vigil, where participants lifted their prayers for the African Providence, blessed families, and the fulfillment of Holy Mother Han’s vision.
Day 2: Internal Guidance and Strategic Resolutions
- Morning Devotion: The day began with Hoon Dok Hae, allowing leaders to meditate on the teachings of True Parents and renew their spiritual commitment.
- Providential Teachings: Lectures focused on “THE PROVIDENCE” and “THE MATERNAL HEART,” offering in-depth insight into the central role of Heavenly Parent in the history of restoration and the importance of a maternal heart in educating and transforming communities.
- Sector Panels: In the afternoon, participants took part in panel workshops to analyze the realities specific to their fields. This resulted in several strategic resolutions adopted across pastoral care, administration, UPF, WFWP, and the youth movement.
Day 3: Sunday Service and Rejuvenation
- Deepening the Vision: The final day featured a continuation of Hoon Dok Hae centered on “BEING A LEADER,” encouraging a leadership culture grounded in faith, sacrifice, love, and responsibility.
- Closing Service: The climax of the assembly was the closing provincial Sunday service. Spiritual music provided by the main choir and the ECODIM (Sunday School) choir of Matadi created an environment of profound spiritual elevation.
- Fellowship: Following the service, a fraternal meal was offered to all participants, fostering moments of fellowship, conviviality, and newfound unity.

Conclusion
As a whole, this Regional Leaders’ Assembly of Kongo Central served as a true framework for training, strategic reflection, and spiritual rejuvenation. It succeeded in strengthening unity among leaders, aligning the regional vision with national and continental guidelines, and consolidating a collective commitment to fulfilling the Providence.
