On May 16, the National Headquarters of FFWPU Brazil in São Paulo transformed into a vibrant hub of melody and community for the Voice and Art Choral Concert, hosted by the FFWPU Brazil Cultural Department.
The special evening brought together two incredible musical groups:
- The Sun Hak Choir: Directed by Maestro Lukota and made up of FFWPU members, known for their historic performances for True Parents.
- The Voice and Art Choir: A renowned guest choir conducted by the distinguished Maestro Rodrigo Hyppolito.
A Powerful Space for Culture and Outreach
The event drew a crowd of approximately 230 in-person participants. Notably, nearly half of the attendees were guests and non-members, alongside seven distinguished Ambassadors for Peace. The incredible turnout beautifully demonstrated how the National Headquarters is evolving into a true Hyo Jeong Cultural Center—a space where diverse cultures unite through the arts.
“Good music has profound benefits for both the mind and spirit.” — Mr. Lucas Barbosa, Director of the Cultural Department

Sharing the Vision
Following the opening remarks, Rev. Samuel Ota Linhares (National President of FFWPU Brazil) shared a brief, inspiring overview of the history and vision of True Parents. He highlighted how FFWPU uses every sector of society—including the arts—to actively build peace and realize the dream of Heavenly Parent.
A Diverse Musical Journey
The performances captivated the room from start to finish:
- The Sun Hak Choir moved the audience with a versatile repertoire, spanning sacred pieces like Banquet Song, traditional African rhythms, and the Korean favorite Sarang Hae.
- The Voice and Art Choir brought the magic of the stage to the headquarters with an uplifting setlist of classic Broadway and Disney musical themes.
The crowd was deeply moved by the talent on display, with the vast majority of guests leaving inspired and eager to return for future cultural events.
