The Annual General Assembly began in an atmosphere of deep spirituality, opening with holy songs led by Mr. César Regalado. Following this, missionaries performed a special rendition of the song “Now I Will Pray,” further elevating the spirit of unity and devotion among the participants.

Leadership Addresses and Vision

Mr. Bernardo, President of FFWPU Dominican Republic, opened the session to warm applause. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to True Mother, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, and shared a message from the continental office urging members to remain steadfast and exalt the name of our True Parents. He emphasized that members should take pride in the “lineage of the Blessing”—the fruit of the True Parents’ immense sacrifice—and noted that despite various tribulations, the community continues to move forward with determination.

A significant milestone was reported: 54 individuals signed membership forms after being introduced to the core principles of the Divine Principle. Mr. Bernardo concluded by sharing True Mother’s guidance, emphasizing that the Blessing is of paramount importance and calling for accelerated preparations for the Blessing Ceremony on May 2, 2026.

Regional and Departmental Reports

  • Santiago & Moca: Pastor Felix Antonio Garcia highlighted collaborative efforts in character education for youth and challenges faced in interfaith outreach. He reminded the assembly that prayers must be translated into concrete action to become true owners of Cheon Il Guk.
  • UPF (Universal Peace Federation): Secretary General César Regalado and National Director Leonidas Belliard reported on successful collaborations with political leaders and the commemoration of international days for Peace, Family, and Human Rights. They recalled the historic 2019 Santiago rally, which drew 12,000 participants, as a foundation for future victories.
  • YSP & CARP: Mr. Carlos Hernández reported on preparations for Cheon Won Gung and the integration of Central and Latin American providential efforts. He noted that four members recently completed a full year of training in Brazil. The 2026 priority for CARP is witnessing and bringing new members to the upcoming Blessing.
  • Youth & Second Generation: Leader Hope Gomez reported on two successful seminars and urged the second generation to be active participants in providence rather than mere spectators. He announced an upcoming Divine Principle seminar scheduled for January 23–26.
  • Women’s Federation (WFWP): Miho Okazaki presented a detailed report on character education projects in schools, leadership seminars, and community service with local firefighters.
  • Blessed Families & Tribal Messianism: Carmen Belliard set a goal to prepare 30 candidates for the May 2nd Blessing. Mr. Cándido Gómez concluded the reports by emphasizing the responsibility of parents to teach their children and sharing personal testimonies regarding the reaffirmation of marriage blessings.

Conclusion

The assembly concluded with vibrant cultural performances of dance and song. The day ended with a traditional game of Yut Nori, where prizes were awarded, closing the event in a spirit of joy, fellowship, and renewed commitment to the providence.
