The Family Federation for World Peace & Unification Zambia hosted a 7-day workshop for seventeen Christian leaders, including Bishops, Pastors, and Evangelists, from August 4 to 11, 2024 at HJ Cheonbo Training Center, Barlastone, Lusaka. The participants came from different backgrounds, including Heavenly Tribal Messiah areas in Petauke, Eastern Province under Cheonbo couples and Heavenly Tribal Messiah victors from Scotland (Rev. Robert Williamson) and USA (Mrs. Elizabeth Phiri Aihe) and under some Cheonbo Couples in Lusaka, from Choma, Southern Province and within Lusaka.
We aimed to deepen the participants’ understanding of the core beliefs and responsibilities of the Divine Principle and True Parents. Topics covered included: Introduction to Divine Principle, Overview of the Divine Principle and its founding, Scriptural studies comparing the teachings of the Divine Principle with the Bible, role-playing to understand the challenges faced by Jesus, Other topics focused on spiritual growth and community building
The main lecturer was Rev. David Isaac Phiri, President of FFWPU Zambia. And Rev. William Chimfwembe was the coordinator assisted by Mr. Matthew Mumba.
We feel with this workshop we could achieve significant outcomes, including
- Spiritual growth: Participants reported a deepened understanding of the Divine Principle and its relevance to their lives.
- Community building: A strong sense of community was fostered, with lasting bonds formed among participants.
- Practical application: Each participant developed a concrete plan to apply the teachings of the Divine Principle in their personal, family, and community life.
Participants who were inspired by the content lectures praised this education program for its depth and quality of discussions, appreciating the balance between teaching, reflection, and practical application. Some suggested more time for personal reflection and one-on-one mentoring.
The 7-day Divine Principle workshop was a transformative experience for all involved. Participants left with a deeper understanding of the Divine Principle, a strengthened faith, and a clear vision for living out these teachings in their daily lives. The lecturers and organizers look forward to seeing the positive impact of this workshop in the participants’ communities and beyond.

Bishop Tembo: “My testimony is that when I first heard about this movement, I was confused and skeptical. The teachings seemed to contradict my expectations, and I thought, ‘What is this? I’ll stick to what I know.’ But as I continued to learn and our community began to share the message, something remarkable happened. I felt the spirit moving within me, my body even shaking with conviction. I knew in that moment, ‘This is the truth. The revelation has transformed me, and I will never be the same. I’m committed to sharing this truth with others, without hesitation or reservation.
The principles I’ve learned have been incredibly fruitful, and I’m grateful to have discovered the hidden mysteries of God, including the concept of True Parents. I want to express my heartfelt thanks to the Family Federation for sharing this new truth with us. Your humility and willingness to share have been a blessing. We appreciate your efforts and pray that God will continue to bless, uplift, and equip you spiritually, financially, and in every way. We’re eager to receive more of this truth and continue on this journey of discovery.”
