The Family Federation for World Peace and Unification Philippines, in collaboration with the HJ CheonBo Asia Pacific Branch, conducted the 2-Day Heavenly Asia Pacific Hyojeong CheonBo Special Philippines Event with the theme “Inherit Spirit and Truth from True Mother through CheonShim Won” from July 20–21, 2024, at FFWPU Metro Manila Family Church in Quezon City and online. The event was attended by a total of 476 blessed families and members, both onsite and online, from the Philippines. Australia, Thailand, and India also participated through online.
In the morning session, President Kim In Cheon gave a special ansu and consultation to the members. Members expressed gratitude for the transformative experience, citing newfound clarity and a renewed sense of purpose. Many remarked on the profound healing they had experienced, both within themselves and in their relationships with others.
The event commenced at 1:30 PM, with a warm welcome extended to all family members by the organizers. The atmosphere was charged with excitement and anticipation as participants gathered, ready to receive the spiritual blessings prepared for them.
Preparation and Special Cheonbo Video Presentation The programme began with the singing of holy songs, creating a serene and spiritually uplifting environment. This was followed by the presentation of a special Cheonbo video, which set the tone for the event by reminding participants of the significance of the activities and blessings they were about to receive.
The day opened with a heartfelt prayer led by Rev. John Rhodbert Gregorio, Area Director of FFWPU-NCR and Central Luzon. His prayer set a reverent and hopeful tone for the event. This was followed by welcoming remarks from Rev. Leo Angelo Halog, National Leader of FFWPU-Philippines. Rev. Halog delivered an impactful message to the blessed families and members of FFWPU, emphasizing the importance and significance of the event. His words provided assurance and confidence, establishing a sense of unity and purpose among the attendees.
Special Lecture 1: Dr. Julius Malicdem, Vice President of FFWPU-Asia Pacific, presented the first special lecture. Dr. Malicdem provided an inspiring and insightful lecture on the significance of participating in the Cheonbo great works. His words motivated and encouraged the participants, highlighting the profound impact these works have on their spiritual growth and development.
The Chanyang Yeoksa Session began, bringing participants together in a vibrant and spiritually charged atmosphere. The session began with 30 minutes of intense and active engagement, where participants sang together, clapped, and tapped various parts of their bodies. This physical and vocal involvement was believed to drive away evil spirits, purifying the participants spiritually. As the session progressed, the presence of good absolute ancestors from the spiritual world was strongly felt. Participants, united in prayer, fervently shouted in unison, their voices rising together to ensure they were heard in the Spirit World. This collective energy created a powerful spiritual experience, deepening the connection between the participants and their ancestors. Following this profound spiritual cleansing, Ms. Julian Isabelle Reyes offered a special song.
A special video presentation titled “Change Your Mind” was shown, offering a significant and transformative learning experience for all family members present.
Following the presentation, Rev. John Rhodbert Gregorio, the Area Director of NCR and Region 3, along with Mrs. Marilyn Oliveros, shared their reflections and testimonies. Rev. Gregorio spoke passionately about how the concepts from the video could be applied to daily life, emphasising the power of Cheonbo Greatworks and the impact it can have on one’s spiritual journey as we follow our True Parents. Mrs. Oliveros followed with her own heartfelt testimony, sharing personal stories of transformation and the positive changes she experienced by adopting a new mindset. Their reflections added depth and personal connection to the lessons from the video, further enriching the learning experience for everyone in attendance.
In the following programme, family members had time to write their reflections, communicate with Heavenly Parent and True Parents, share their testimonies, and write their wish papers within the Cheonshim Won Headquarters. After establishing a heartfelt connection with Heavenly Parent and True Parents, attendees proceeded to dinner while the organizing committee staff prepared the venue for the evening’s next program.
This was followed by a one-hour Chanyang Yeoksa session. The attendees participated with great eagerness, and many were moved to tears during the Chanyang and prayer sessions.
Rev. Edgar Tanate, a lecturer from the HJ CheonBo Asia-Pacific Branch, delivered the second special lecture, providing profound insights that inspired the attendees.
The 2nd Chanyang Yeoksa Session proceeded in the afternoon, setting the mode for the afternoon event. Rev. Edgar Tanate shared about “Collateral Liberation of Spirits and National Restoration,” and Rev. Leo Angelo Halog shared two lectures entitled “First Comes Witnessing, Second Comes Witnessing, and the Third is Also Witnessing” and “The Importance of Cheon Shim Won Prayer.” Rev. Halog reiterated the importance of continuous devotion to Cheon Shim Won, resulting in substantial results, especially in witnessing. He also emphasized the significance of the substantial connection to Heavenly Parent and True Parents by establishing a personal relationship with them.
Day 1 of the event concluded with a CSW Prayer Devotion. Members shouted together in a resonating prayer, uniting with True Mother. They left feeling inspired and eagerly anticipating the next day’s events.
The Day 2 program began by singing holy songs, and as the atmosphere was set, the program continued with prayers and messages. Mrs. Mariza David gave her moving testimony. Part 2 of the programme starts with the Cheon Shim Won song, which lifts up the spirit and ambience of the venue.
President Kim In Cheon delivered his message centered on how to achieve unity with True Mother and to accelerate witnessing and driving with the spirit and truth.
The afternoon program proceeded with the Ancestors Liberation Ceremony. Sixty (60) members applied for ancestors and collateral liberation, liberated 136 Central Evil Spirit, and thirty-five (35) offered wish papers.
The entire event provided an opportunity for all blessed families and members to experience Heavenly Parent and True Parents’ love and grace. At Cheon Shim Won, they were more determined than ever to help and console our beloved True Mother and offer sincere devotion. Within this year, this remarkable event will continue to go to other parts of the Philippines.
Reflections
Melchor Policarpio (360M – Metro Manila)
I experienced lower back pain that resulted in temporary paralysis that I find it hard to stand up or to sit down during this holy week 2024. I also find it difficult to sleep at night because of the pain in my pelvic bone. We went to a healer and therapist and found out that what’s happening to me is because of witchcraft. He gave spiritual and physical treatment but it’s not enough to bring me back to my original state. It’s fortunate that there is an upcoming HJ Cheonbo Event and we attend the chanyang session even though I can’t stand up straight and walk normally. That’s also the reason why I can’t offer half bow to Heavenly Parents and True Parents properly during the event. Surprisingly, everything seemed normal when I woke up the following day. It seems like nothing happened to me physically and because of this experience, I learned to appreciate life more and do more for the advancement of the providence.

Heavenly Parents and True Parent, first and foremost, i would like to express my gratitude and appreciation for giving me such a great opportunity to be here, for my testimony, i would like to say what have happened to me this past few years upon starting to change my path, last 2020 probably, i decided to leave home to start my center life, and i was able to grow internally little by little the moment I decided to do thing, and to sacrifice myself for the providence, though it may be small but for me i know in the future it will grow big.
I just want to share my experience about something, last time, a long time ago, I have this thoughts that my prayers will be answer for very long time, and that one time, I prayed for something and like a few days or just a day after i received the answer, I was shock, I felt that God was really listening to our prayer, whatever we do we should be careful of what we wanted, we may not like or regret it, it happen to me, so now I’ll be more careful.
Jude Cedrick Montifar (2023 HJ Cosmic Blessing)
Im very grateful actually, ever since there was a cheon shim won prayer room and vigil, because I could feel more close to Heavenly parents and True Parent, because, to be honest, when i was just doing a prayer in with just a picture or something, I could I am a youth pastor in our community in NCR, I have been lecturing the Divine Principle and True Parents words for a long time because I love True Parent teaching and Divine Principle. Although I am a youth pastor, I cannot say I have a consistently good relationship with my wife. Ever since we got blessed and started a family back in 2023, we have experienced really difficult situations especially in fighting. It would often escalate to us screaming at each other without end and us having resentment in our hearts toward each other. It has gotten to a point where we went on to live separately for 3 months and even when we are apart we do not stop fighting. This has been a difficult time for us where I considered just breaking the blessing and running away from the church and just living my life as I want.
When I heard about Rev. Kim will come to the Philippines for the special Cheon Bo event workshop. I felt something was pushing me to register. Me and my wife registered and applied for consultation and Ansu.
On the first day of the event I felt as if something big might happen but I did not know what. We were the last couple to receive a special consultation and ansu from Rev. Kim Incheon. So we were happy.
When me and my wife walked in the room and sat down. Rev. Kim talked to us as if he knew us very well, even though it was our first time meeting. He was able to see what resentments we have to each other, even our fights that we did not put on our consultation form. We were surprised that he knew everything even though he saw us for the first time! Our hearts moved when we saw him shed a tear because of our situation. I received the special ansu from Rev Kim and Dr. Tanate. Although the ansu was forceful I did not feel pain. Instead, I felt a strong heat and fire that was growing in the area they were tapping. I felt as though the inside of me was burning and it was spreading to my neck, my arms and legs. It was so hot that I felt sweat coming out from my eyes.
At the end of our consultation with Ansu, me and my wife could communicate properly for the first time in 3 months! I felt she was the most beautiful woman in the world and I felt lucky that I am her husband. I felt as though I am seeing her from Heavenly Parent’s perspective for the first time in many months. We both shed tears and hugged each other.
We prayed deeply in Cheon Shim Won sincerely and our tears would not stop even during the Chanyang Yeoksa session. I felt something inside of me getting hotter and hotter until it reached the tip of my fingers and toes. My chest and back in particular felt lighter. My wife applied for central evil spirits liberation and she felt True Mother’s heart at the event, not stopping shedding tears while being grateful.
For the first time in many months we went home together and shed tears together. I woke up the next day and my whole body was sore asf if I was holding a heavy load and suddenly it was gone but my body was sore because of holding it for so long. I woke up with bruises in my chest area and pain in my legs but I felt lighter and had more energy to do many tasks and clap more hard in chanyang yeoksa sessions!
I am so grateful for the special cheon bo event that was conducted. I felt without the miracle and grace of cheon bo works our couple would forever be in the dark. I can feel substantial change happening fast! Miracles are real! The spirit world is real! True Parents gave us so much grace! Thank you so much Heavenly Parent and True Parents!!
not feel my heart or you know the feeling of doing it, so now that we have the cheon shim won i feel like heavenly Parents and True Parent is really beside me. Aju Mansei!!!
