Mother’s Message for Worldwide Members

The following is a summary of True Mother’s speech to the heads of the major providential organizations, given at Cheon Jeong Gung on 5.22 by the Heavenly Calendar in the 12th Year of Cheon Il Guk (June 27, 2024)

The completion of the providence and dream of our Creator, Heavenly Parent, is to create life in the heavenly kingdom on earth with the blessed children through the True Parents, who are victorious among fallen humankind. It was for this that God started the Creation. God created all things in heaven and earth in the divine image, and finally, he created a man and woman who could become our first ancestors. Uniquely with human beings, God waits for us to grow through our own effort to achieve perfection. As you all know, Adam and Eve could not accomplish this and humankind became fallen, having no relationship with the Creator.

The 6,000 years of human history have had no relation to Heaven, and for that 6,000 years, human history has been one of war and conflict, without even one day of peace. However, as the Creator began this work, he had to see it through to the end. God had no choice but to carry out the providential history of salvation to redeem fallen humanity. How hard it was for God that it took 4,000 years to select the chosen people of Israel and build a foundation from one individual up to a nation!

You will know well the history of the people of Israel through the stories in the Bible. We cannot consider that Mary, who after the passing of 4,000 years conceived Jesus by the Holy Spirit and gave birth to him, fulfilled her responsibility. She did not know the principles of creation, the essence of Jesus, or the essential nature of the Creator. Ultimately, because Mary and those around her could not accomplish their responsibility, Jesus went to the cross. Yet he said he would come again. He said that when he came he would hold the Wedding Feast of the Lamb.

Christianity began with the apostles, who had received resurrection through the Holy Spirit and were waiting for Jesus, who had promised to come again. However, as we all know, the Catholic Church committed many errors because it did not understand Jesus’ essential purpose. How could the communist concept that “God is dead; there is no God” arise from among people who believed in God?

This is why the Reformation was unavoidable. Rather than serving Heaven within a man-made system, those in the Puritan movement wanted to freely serve God in their own homes. They made unity among the pastors, elders and deacons, evangelists, and ordinary believers and served God together. It developed rapidly as a result.

 But according to the principles of creation there is man and woman. The only begotten Son Jesus Christ was born, but the only begotten Daughter could not be born. She could not be born through the people of Israel. Why not? Because an indemnity offering is required over the death of the person who was to become the father of all humankind. For 2,000 years the people of Israel lived as a people without a nation…. The people of Israel today do not understand why this happened. Since they are still unaware of God’s providence, Heaven must bring things to a conclusion and to completion.

Though the selection and training of a new chosen people, the foundation was in place to give birth to the only begotten Daughter. It was around the time of the Second World War that American Protestant Christians brought the works of the Holy Spirit to the vicinity of Pyongyang. Korean Christianity thus saw an active increase in these spiritual works centered around Pyongyang. It was Christian intellectuals who had encountered this new culture and led the movement for Korea’s independence.

In 1943, the only begotten Daughter was born within a Christian environment. Yet no one knows of this. What you need to know here is that at the conclusion of the colonial era in 1945 with the end of World War II, Korea was divided into South and North, between democracy and communism.

Geopolitically speaking, the Soviet Union is close to North Korea. The United States of the free democratic world is far from South Korea. In such a situation, the Creator had to protect the only daughter whose birth he had brought about. I was born in 1943 and the year I turned six, we learned that my maternal uncle, who had studied abroad in Japan, had not returned home but had joined the South Korean military. From the North’s perspective, his joining the South Korean military was the act of an enemy. So [as his relatives] we had no option but to go south.

The day before yesterday, June 25, the (South Korean) government marked the 74th anniversary of the outbreak of the Korean War. When I looked back and thought of the unspeakable inner suffering of our Creator, our Heavenly Parent, tears came to my eyes. (* Mother is in tears.) I was eight years old when the Korean War happened, but I remember it so vividly. Refugees were already leaving Seoul on the evening of June 24. I remember it drizzling. I was with my grandmother at that time. When those living next door fled, she followed them, but then for some reason she came back home.

At dawn that day [when the North Korean invasion began], there was no way to contact anyone by phone. My uncle drove up in a three-quarter [3/4-ton truck] and said, “Let’s go, quick; there’s no time!” While we were crossing the Han River Bridge, I noticed that the only people on the bridge were soldiers, not ordinary civilians. My uncle drove to a safe spot, got out of the car, and shouted, “Lie down.” At that moment, the Han River Bridge was destroyed. My heart still hurts, thinking of what happened to all those soldiers. (* Mother is in tears.)

My maternal uncle was an army officer and was in the medical supply unit, so he was in the first group to evacuate. Since the army could not go any further south by road, they had to take the train. Oh! People were even climbing up on the roof of the train and traveling south like that. What would have happened to them when the train went through a tunnel? Thinking about that evacuation, and about what people faced in their lives as refugees, could only strengthen my resolve.

This was because I knew how much Heavenly Parent had wanted to embrace fallen humanity and had thus carried out the providence. However, I knew that if the victorious True Parents could not appear on earth, neither Heavenly Parent’s dream nor humanity’s hopes could be realized. So I waited for the right time.

What if we had begun with [teaching] the essential nature of the Creator and the essential purpose for which Jesus came? Why was the providence of restoration necessary? God created both a man and a woman. Consequently, in 1960 I made up my mind: “If I don’t do this, things will be more difficult for Heavenly Parent. This is not a position that I am seeking, but if I don’t do this, we will not be able to liberate our Heavenly Parent!” That was my determination. That is why True Parents appeared in 1960. That is why many blessed families have come into being.

According to the principle of creation, the day when the victorious True Parents receive the Blessing is the day when Heavenly Parent came to dwell in them. That is the principle. You need to be aware of this. Because I was there, because I maintained that same position without wavering, progress could be made on the external front.

Heavenly Parents’ dream is to live on earth. Life in the heavenly kingdom on earth. In order for this to be possible, we had to have Foundation Day and open the era of Cheon Il Guk. In such a situation, God instructed me to open Cheon Il Guk—because the providence could not be prolonged. I was 70 years old [* in 2013]. Most people live for about the same amount of time on earth. If one opens a new era at the age of 70 and seeks to bring it to settlement, it will take several more decades. But the time in which I can continue working is very limited.

Although I cannot adequately express everything, no one around me understood God’s providence at that time. As a result, I have always explained how I had to find a small needle in an environment similar to a sandstorm in which one can barely open one’s eyes, ears, or nose…. I am saying that I couldn’t find a single person—one small needle—who could work with me for Heaven’s providence.

In my time on earth, I must create the environment in which people will attend and honor Heavenly Parent. As a result, I cannot rest. Among the 200 or so nations of the world, I needed to restore at least seven nations, plus seven religious groups, and a continent in order to create such an environment for Heavenly Parent. It was, however, difficult to accomplish this in a Christian environment. This is why I chose Senegal. 

Even as Christianity spreading throughout the world based on the Bible, Christians made many mistakes in Africa. In light of this, I decided to first inform the Christian world of who I am, so explained to the ACLC pastors that I am the only begotten daughter. They welcomed me.

I could not stop. I had to move forward. So I went to Senegal. Senegal’s religious leaders are Muslim. When I revealed to them that I am the only begotten Daughter, they told me that the Muslims welcome me. After I told the president of that nation [Senegal] about the providence, he replied, “I will become your son.” In the same manner, I gave the Blessing in the name of True Parents in Niger, a Muslim country. This was done in the presence of the president of Niger and all the government ministers. That is why I could declare the firm settlement of Cheon Il Guk.

I have declared that the Creator God is the Heavenly Parent. In order to embrace all people throughout the world, I announced Heavenly Parent’s Holy Community and expanded missionary activities. For people to attend Heavenly Parent, however, there must be a home where they can do so. In the past, the Israelites had the tabernacle and the temple, but Heavenly Parent was not always there. Heavenly Parent resides within the realm of True Parents’ victory.

I cannot let the providence be delayed. When I am already more than 80 years of age, I will be dedicating the Entrance to the temple where we can attend Heavenly Parent. This is a blessing of the greatest magnitude, the first of its kind in the history of God’s providence.

The environment in which all people live in a pure state as before the Fall must be realized, one in which blessed children attend Heavenly Parent. After announcing the Entrance Ceremony for the Cheon Il Sanctum in Cheon Won Gung, I could not sleep. I feel tremendously sorry to Heaven. In conclusion, if you become one with True Mother, the only begotten Daughter, you will be able to enter the kingdom of heaven on earth and in heaven. This is something you need to know.

Therefore, I reflected on Moses’ course. Moses was a great man whom God chose. He led the Israelites out of Egypt. In the course of their journey, Heaven performed many miracles. Why, however, did they have to spend forty years in the wilderness? Even though Canaan was within easy reach, why could they not enter, but could only die [in the wilderness]?

This is now the final step in the history of the providence. This is the last… There can never again be a time like this. That is why this moment, this place, is so significant. The providence will be fulfilled. Because I am here, it will be brought to fruition. 

However, the problem lies with you. After all your hard work following the providence, you must not end up like Moses. Do you understand? Therefore, I plan to leave for South America on June 28. If you ask me why I am going to this difficult environment, it is because of [True] Father.

True Father dreamed of unity when he carried out the providence in four countries in South America. I am aware that it was to create an environment in South America that would facilitate the unification of North and South Korea and the saving of North Korea’s top leaders without there being any bloodshed.

Our Unification Church, the Family Federation, is currently lacking in strength. In advancing toward the restoration of nations and the realization of a heavenly unified Korea and heavenly unified world, I did not want to let go of that providence, which True Father had conducted.

It is for this reason that I am going there to offer devotions. In relation to this, Hwang Sun-jo, Song Gwang-seok, Lee Hyun-yeong, and Yang Chang-shik… Is that five names? I would like all of you to attend the 40-day spirituality workshop with your wives from June 28. Over these 40 days gather your sincere prayers at Cheonshim Won and ask Heaven and True Father to directly help us as we strive for national restoration and a heavenly unified Korea.

This is our last opportunity. The final chance. Is Kim Seok-byeong here? Please all of you attend the 40-day spiritual workshop with your wives and offer devotions at Cheonshim Won over this 40 days. You must do this. Do you understand? You must fulfill this.

To achieve national restoration, I have said that I must embrace Christianity, haven’t I? Therefore, please pray that Christianity will rush in as a rising tide. Please offer devotions.

 Heaven performed miracles when Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt. It is now the time for the providence to be completed. Blessed families whom True Parents blessed should be able to live in the kingdom of heaven both on earth and in heaven in a state of health and wholesomeness. 

In addition, all [providential] organizations and those in charge of them must become one with me centered on Cheon Mu Won. You cannot enter the kingdom of heaven in heaven if you cannot do so. Therefore, it is essential to resolve all issues on earth; to settle all matters on earth. We live in the most pivotal of times. This is the final stage in both human history and providential history. The final stage.

From Heaven’s standpoint, this is the time when we can fulfill our duties as filial sons and daughters and loyal patriots, so that when we reach the spirit world Heavenly Parent will be able to say, “You have truly worked hard!” This is that one time. Right now. You must not be self-centered. We must practice true love, living for the sake of all others and moving toward the goal of being one together. Can you understand?

Please consider this your last opportunity to follow the path to becoming completely filial sons and daughters and loyal patriots. It is your last opportunity to practice true love—a love that lives for others’ sake. Haven’t I restructured our organization through Cheon Mu Won to prepare for the upcoming year when we will live with and attend Heavenly Parent on earth? You must without fail become one with Cheon Mu Won. Please do not evaluate it based on your own point of view. I will be at the center of Cheon Mu Won. *
