Family Federation for World Peace and Unification Kenya supported by Youth and Students for Peace Kenya organized a 21-day workshop. It was a very comprehensive workshop in which the participants learned a lot including the Divine Principle, Tradition, Witnessing and Fundraising, and the Chambumo Ron, lectures on the status and value of True Parents in this age of the Completion of the Providence. Lectures were given by several leaders including the subregional director and national president and the regional Witnessing and Education Department director.
The workshop participants had the opportunity to engage in morning devotion at the Cheon Shim Won in the center. During this period, they read True Mother’s memoir and shared testimonies on how they were deeply moved by the the life course of our True Mother. The promotion of culture and arts was also emphasized and the participants had several opportunities to engage in sports and also showcasing their talents in cultural and art performances. This culminated in their presentation of two songs (‘Na ijae’ – I will Pray Now cheon Shim Won song and ‘I Know Who I Am’ that brightened up the atmosphere of the Sunday Service in addition to the coordinating the entire national Sunday service.
The participants had the opportunity to interact with two youths from the YSP USA – United Nations office team. They shared about youth activities in USA AND tips on how to improve YSP especially with external outreach. The team also gave a photography class that the work-shoppers benefitted from.
The 17 youth who participated in the workshop and 3 elder youth who coordinated the program all shared how the workshop moved them to a higher level of understanding of themselves and True Parents and the Providence in this golden age. The participants shared their reflections including their intensified desire to go for the Blessing and to witness and have spiritual children. In line with the theme of the workshop, the youth are determined to be the pure water that unites with the Only Begotten Daughter, our beloved True Mother for the victorious completion of the providence.

Reflection
One 2nd generation sister, Giwon Mwadime shared that despite the cold weather, the warm hearts of the people made the environment warm. She added that she has read motivational novels, but reading True Mother’s memoir was beyond them all, and invited everyone to read it.
Phillip Githiaya, a Jacob gen brother shared his gratitude to all who contributed everything to go smoothly and how he enjoyed the Divine Principle lecture competition.
Sister Yurie Karungi who traveled from Uganda for the workshop shared how sorry she was for not understanding the providence better before and that all her questions were answered and she has a better perspective of the church and the current providence centered on True Mother, the central pillar in this age.
