We conducted an online 2-Day Blessing and Marriage Education workshop for 1ST Gen. on June 5 – 6, 2024, from 8:00 PM to 11:30 PM Bangkok time. The event was opened with Holy Songs creating a warm positive spiritual environment. Rev. Santosh Paudel, Sub Regional Director of FFWPU South Asia, served as the Master of Ceremony, while Mrs. Rina Bhagawan Das, Acting National Leader of FFWPU Pakistan, led the opening prayer. Twelve Blessing candidates from Nepal and Pakistan actively participated in the workshop.
On the first Day Mr. David Mclackland, Lecturer at FFWPU Asia Pacific, delivered the opening remarks, and Mrs. Dulce Buyayo, Director of BFD Asia Pacific, provided special heavenly guidance. Participants also watched a video about the 2024 Cosmic Blessing in Korea. Mrs. Ursula, BFD Senior Advisor, delivered the lecture during the workshop exploring the significance and value of the Blessing. She highlighted the importance of blessings and the role of love and marriage in spiritual growth. The Heart and Attitude towards the Blessings overcoming self-centeredness and trusting in God’s wisdom in choosing a spouse.
Similarly, Mrs. Mclackland delivered a lecture on the importance of blessings from True Parents and the role of true love, truth, and action in one’s spiritual journey. Mrs. Ursula and Rev. Paudel also discussed the IG Matching Process, emphasizing selfless love, personal growth, and the importance of becoming an ideal partner.
Participants were encouraged to study and practice the Divine Principle, engage in daily self-reflection, and participate in the Cheongshim prayer. The importance of community service, witnessing, and the educational component of the program was also highlighted. The workshop outlined the process and requirements for becoming a member of the movement and a qualified candidate for the blessing program. This included a six-month education period, community service, donation, fasting, and registration. Emphasis was placed on the importance of good character, maturity, and a responsible lifestyle, along with the need for open communication within relationships and with matching supporters.

Mrs. Ursula detailed the spiritual process of the blessing ceremony to reconcile individuals with God’s love and forgive past mistakes. Rev. Paudel, Mr. David, Pastor Joseph Tariq, and Mrs. Divine emphasized the importance of continuous learning, seeking help, and following guidance for success in family life.
The South Asia 2-Day Blessing Workshop concluded with expressions of gratitude and farewells, as participants reflected on their newfound understanding of the Blessing, its core values, and its significance. They shared their commitment to following True Parents’ principles and their excitement about joining the matching process and receiving the Blessing. Participants emphasized the importance of preparation, devotion, and community involvement in their journey toward becoming Blessed Families and contributing to the providence of restoration and the establishment of an ideal world.
