Objective: To integrate young academics into the practice of the Public Mission and to provide guidance on life after the Mission.
On Saturday, September 26, 2026, in Kinshasa, a welcoming and orientation activity was organized for the Young Academics, citizens of Cheon Il Guk, from the 2025–2026 class, following a one-year public mission training program. A total of 27 young people attended the meeting. Its aim was to welcome the youth at the end of their training program, listen to them, encourage them, and support them as they prepare for the next stage of their lives after the Academy.
On this occasion, the National Leader, Reverend RANG WAN LUBAKA, engaged in a heart-to-heart dialogue with the young missionaries. He began by presenting the vision of the nation and explaining how FFWPU–DRC works to fulfill its responsibility. He also detailed the various challenges encountered in the field, the organization’s expectations of the youth, and the different avenues through which young people can contribute.
,The National Leader particularly emphasized the importance of carefully reflecting on life after training. He encouraged the youth not to view the end of their Public Mission year as the end of their commitment, but rather to maintain the missionary spirit in their daily lives. He explained how to balance their various responsibilities—including studies, work, family life, and other activities—with their commitment to serving Providence.
He further encouraged them to continuously keep the desire to serve HOLY MOTHER HAN in their hearts, regardless of their occupation or field of activity. The youth were invited to leverage the skills, knowledge, and experience gained during their training to continue contributing to Providence. Finally, the National Leader urged them to cultivate true leadership qualities and to become proactive individuals capable of mobilizing, supporting, and guiding other young people forward.
Following his address, several open discussion sessions allowed the young academics to express their thoughts and feelings. They shared their experiences, concerns, aspirations, and reflections regarding their future after training. These discussions provided leaders with an opportunity to better understand the youth’s expectations and to guide them in defining their future paths.
As part of this program, the young academics were also introduced to the various departments of FFWPU–DRC. They were able to explore the existing areas of work and express their interest in the departments where they wished to get involved. Each participant was thus able to select an area based on their capabilities, interests, and how they wished to contribute to the growth of the organization and its youth movement.
This welcoming and orientation activity marked an important milestone in the young academics’ transition into life after training. It provided them with direction for their future commitment, allowed them to share their hearts, enhanced their understanding of FFWPU–DRC’s needs, and helped them begin defining their area of responsibility within the various departments.
In total, 27 young people took part in this event. The meeting laid the groundwork for a new chapter for the young academics, encouraging them to translate the experience gained during their Public Mission year into concrete and lasting commitment. The emphasis placed on leadership, service to HOLY MOTHER HAN, integration into various departments, and youth mobilization contributed to preparing them to take on greater responsibilities and continue contributing to Providence beyond their training period.
