Bulgaria Hosts “The Next Wave” Workshop for Blessed Families
By FFWPU Bulgaria
From September 4 to 7, the Bulgarian Blessed Families community gathered in the mountain resort of Pamporovo for an inspiring workshop centered on the theme “The Next Wave.” Designed to pass the torch from the first generation to the second, the gathering brought together around 25 members to prepare the youth for greater responsibility in guiding the future of the community.
The educational program centered on lectures highlighting the deep significance of the Matching and Blessing, offering practical and spiritual guidance on how second-generation members can prepare for this pivotal step. These presentations were paired with open intergenerational discussion sessions, establishing a supportive space for honest dialogue, shared insights, and deeper mutual understanding.
In the evenings, participants gathered to listen to moving testimonies from both generations. These personal accounts provided a meaningful opportunity for members to learn from one another’s life experiences, strengthening generational bonds and fostering emotional connection.
The retreat also prioritized dynamic fellowship and team-building. Attendees ventured out for a mountain hike and participated in a paintball activity, providing plenty of laughter, camaraderie, and opportunities to create lasting memories. By the conclusion of the workshop, participants departed Pamporovo renewed in spirit, closely connected, and ready to embrace the future together.
