On September 13, 2026, a special regional worship service was held in Central Africa, hosted in the Democratic Republic of the Congo—the host nation that accommodated the Cheon Il Guk Citizens Academy for a full year. The purpose of this gathering was to unite blessed families across the Central Africa region amidst the various situations facing the Providence and the endemic issues affecting the region. It also served as a special closing moment marking the completion of a year of public mission accomplished by the Cheon Il Guk Citizens.

The event aimed to strengthen the unity of blessed families in the region, encourage them to stand firm against Providentially-related challenges, and mark the end of a year of public service carried out by youth through the Cheon Il Guk Citizens Academy.

During the worship service, Regional Director Reverend Sou Danwere delivered a deeply moving message. He reminded blessed families of the fundamental roles and foundation they are called to put into daily practice to contribute to fulfilling Heavenly Parent’s will.

In his address, he revisited the vows made during the Blessing, emphasizing that these commitments must serve as the true spearhead (“cheval de bataille”) for every family and couple. He encouraged blessed families to live out these commitments tangibly in their daily lives. Addressing the youth in particular, he insisted on the importance of staying close to Heavenly Parent, describing this bond as an essential key to succeeding on their path and advancing with clear direction.

A segment dedicated to testimonies and performances followed, allowing the youth who completed their public mission to share their experiences. Through testimonies filled with hope and determination, they presented the lessons learned and experiences gained throughout their mission. They also expressed their talents through various performances, bringing a dynamic and brotherly dimension to the gathering.

Messages of gratitude and encouragement were then extended to the young missionaries:

  • Continental Director Rev. Jean Pierre Kadima transmitted an encouraging message, inviting them to remain strong and continue moving forward with perseverance, using the image of “Pure Water” as an expression of their determination to pursue their path with consistency.
  • National Leader Rev. Rang Wan Lubaka encouraged the youth to work even harder, helping them understand that completing their public mission is not an end, but the beginning of a new stage. He specially invited them to view preparing for and receiving the Blessing as an essential mission to establish strong families capable of carrying forward Heavenly Parent’s will.
