A Letter from Moon Shin-chul, Inheritor of Heaven’s Love and Blessing, Read at the 14th Anniversary of the Holy Ascension of Sun Myung Moon, True Parents of Heaven, Earth, and Humankind: Cheonsimwon Night Vigil Prayer, held on August 30, 2026, at the Main Hall of the CheonBo Training Center.
Beloved True Parents,
I believe that as you look upon us right now, you must be feeling great anxiety and concern.
You may worry whether our hearts are shaken by the situation True Mother is currently facing, whether we are hurting from the stones the world throws at us, or whether we—separated from our Parents for the first time—are trembling in fear. Looking at our situation, I believe you must feel a heart-wrenching pain. I sincerely apologize that we are not yet mature enough to bring peace and comfort to your hearts.
However, True Parents, please do not worry too much. As True Mother said, “We believe that Heaven is alive.” The roots of faith planted within our hearts are by no means shallow.
Just as the depths of the ocean remain calm no matter how fiercely a storm rages across the vast sea, the depth of our shimjeong (heart) is by no means shallow. The lamp of heart of us, your children, who started together with True Parents in 1960, is slowly yet surely being passed down from generation to generation.
And as I look at the birth of Jeong-seok, who came into our arms during such a time as this, I come to feel anew just how much Heavenly Parent and True Parents have loved me.
Seeing myself rejoice when Jeong-seok smiles and feel concerned whenever he seems to be struggling even a little, I come to understand more deeply the heart of True Parents, who embraced and waited for me even when I was lacking and wavering.
I come to know the parental heart that desires to pass down forgiveness instead of fear and resentment, love instead of hatred, and hope instead of frustration to my child. Rather than division, I wish to convey to him a heart that becomes one before Heavenly Parent and, above all, a heart of hyojeong (filial heart) that attends True Parents with complete devotion. Someday, when Jeong-seok looks back on us today, I want us to be remembered as parents who trusted Heaven through all difficulties and protected our devotion toward True Parents until the very end. That is why we cannot waver even more.
Heavenly Parent, True Parents, As True Mother said, “The truth will surely be revealed,” we will stride forward boldly before the world without a single shadow of doubt. Amidst the interference of any force seeking to shake us, our conviction to walk the righteous path will press straight ahead.
Therefore, Heavenly Parent and True Father, I make this plea to you. Please do not worry about us, but please look after True Mother.
Although we wish to be children who can fulfill True Mother’s words when she said, “Do not pray for me, but pray for your families, this nation, and this world,” as children, we cannot bring ourselves to do so when we think of True Mother suffering alone before the world.
So please, Heavenly Parent and True Father, stay by True Mother’s side. Please become a shade tree upon which True Mother can lean. Then, with all our hearts, we will go forth before this world.
“Heaven will surely realize His dream on earth. The second and third generations of the Unification Family who can take charge of that work are advancing toward the world as true children who attend Heavenly Parent.”
Therefore, our future will be radiant. Because Heavenly Parent, True Parents, and the Providence are with us, our future will be radiant.
