We organized a 21-day Divine Principle workshop for members in Central America and the Caribbean, themed “Advancing as Celestial Soldiers United to Build an Ideal World of Peace,” which took place from November 29 to December 19, 2024, in the Dominican Republic.
We welcomed a total of 41 participants from seven different nations. Our distinguished participants and lecturers included Rev. Sang Suek Kim, the Regional President of Heavenly Central America; Mr. Carlos Hernandez, YSP Regional President of Central America & the Caribbean; Brayan Rueda, YSP Secretary General of Central America & the Caribbean; Rev. Leonidas Belliard, the Sub-Regional Director; and National Leaders Bernardo Cruz, Remberto Iglesias, Jacob Lim, and Dennis Salmon from the Dominican Republic, Honduras, Costa Rica, and Jamaica.
The workshop was divided into three parts. The first part focused on education, where participants received lectures on Divine Principle, the True Parents Course, Blessing Education, and Chabumoron over the course of seven days. This was followed by two days dedicated to learning how to be young people without shadows, guided by High Noon Education, effectively concluding the educational phase.
The second part of the workshop emphasized applying what the participants had learned through frontline missions over a period of six days. They engaged in fundraising and witnessing activities while also attending a lecture on “How to Be Successful as a Missionary,” delivered by Dr. Koji Matsuda, the President of YSP International. During this phase, 50 participants worked diligently to meet the requirements and also took part in a Cultural Event.
The final part of the workshop involved a three-day hike to Pico Duarte, the highest mountain in the Caribbean. Leaders and participants faced physical and spiritual challenges together, striving to reach the summit and strengthen their resolve to enter Cheon Won Gun victoriously next year.
The workshop concluded with a closing ceremony at La Finca, where participants shared testimonies and received internal guidance from the leaders.
We observed a profound sense of inspiration and determination among all participants, as they committed to restoring their nations by witnessing and encouraging new individuals to support our beloved Heavenly Parents and True Parents in realizing their dreams. Together, we hold the hope of building a world where all humanity can live as One Family Under God.
