As part of Youth and Students for Peace Zimbabwe and Heavenly Top Gun, we organized a two-day Revival Workshop with eight dedicated young participants (four brothers and four sisters). On the first day, Friday, September 27, six youths attended, with two additional brothers joining on Saturday morning.

The purpose of the workshop was to identify youths who are ready to respond to True Mother’s call and to determine who can contribute to the church’s growth and providence.

Our National President in Zimbabwe, Reverend Mushati, delivered the welcoming remarks on the opening day. Here are the roles various team members played during the workshop:

  • Pedro handled the registration process at the beginning.
  • Tigere served as the MC throughout the workshop.
  • Osnage and Lehlohonolo led the media team.
  • Natalie managed the participants’ activities.
  • Josefina was in charge of preparing meals for everyone.
  • Augusto, Ling Yi, and Sayuri collected and managed reflections and testimonies from participants.

On September 28, before sharing testimonies and reflections, we danced together following a video presentation. These ice-breaking activities encouraged team unity.

Following this, one of the Heavenly Top Gun missionaries shared her inspiring testimony about her success at Sun Moon University and her six months of mission work in Zambia.

Thanks to True Mother, we have been blessed with two exceptional Second Generation missionaries from Heavenly Top Gun, who inspire our young people. Their testimonies were touching and encouraging, and we hope that our youths will learn and grow by working with these missionaries.

To close the day, we all participated in the Cheonshim Won vigil, which was vibrant and energizing. In the evening, our National President, Papa Mushati, gave concluding remarks, thanked all the youths for their participation, and encouraged everyone to maintain a proper life of faith.

We concluded the workshop by attending Sunday service via Zoom. This two-day Revival Workshop served as a starting point to identify available youths, determine areas of focus, and build relationships by getting to know each other better.

Feedback from participants indicated that learning from others through testimonies was very important. They have recognized ways to improve their spiritual lives and understand what True Parents desire from each person. The participants also realized that youth is a crucial stage for laying a strong foundation.
