With the participation of 120 members in person and 70 online, the celebration of the 12th anniversary of Father’s Seonghwa or ascension to the spiritual world took place in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, on August 25, 2024.
The ceremony began with opening remarks by the national leader, Bernardo Cruz Peralta, who thanked the members for their love for True Parents. This was followed by a holy song ambiance. The opening prayer was led by Mr. Cándido Gómez, director of the Heavenly Tribal Messiah Department.
Next, there was a video presentation of True Parents’ life course. The testimonies of Japan’s national messiahs captivated the hearts of the members, bringing them to tears.
Rev. Takashi Kono expressed his gratitude to True Parents for giving direction and purpose to his life. Rev. César Regalado Muñoz, secretary general of the UPF in the Dominican Republic, gave a moving testimony of his life at True Father’s side.
This was followed by a heartfelt offering of flowers, with tears of missing True Father. Pastor Williams Caro led the closing prayer, and the victory ovations were led by Mr. Cándido Gómez.
Finally, all members shared their determination to continue True Parents’ legacy by spreading their blessings throughout the nation.
