On August 18, 2024, the FFWPU-Antipolo had the inauguration and dedication ceremony of the Antipolo Youth Witnessing Center in Morong, Rizal. This Youth Witnessing Center is located near the University of Rizal System (URS), one of the biggest universities in Rizal province. There were a total of 19 attendees with the presence of our National Leader, Rev. Leo Angelo Halog, and Rev. Froilan Matbagan, the Area Director of FFWPU Southern Luzon.
The opening of the Youth Witnessing Center marks a significant milestone in our church’s ongoing mission to reach out to young people and guide them toward a life of faith, hope, and service. This initiative is the beginning of a new chapter in our efforts to create a positive and nurturing environment where the youth can grow spiritually, emotionally, and socially.
Rev. Leo Angelo Halog led the prayer and ribbon cutting then proceeded to the blessing of the entire youth center through the holy salt ceremony. Rev. Halog delivered an inspiring keynote address, emphasizing the importance of empowering the younger generation to become children of filial piety and developing faith centering on True Parents. He highlighted the challenges faced by today’s youth and how the center aims to be a beacon of hope and a place of refuge for those seeking guidance. Ms. Anabel Pang, the HTG Missionary in Antipolo shared her testimony and determination for the victory of the Youth Witnessing Center, and the four cheers of eog mansei was led by the newly appointed Center Leader of Morong Mr. Emilio Granada. The program ended with a cake cutting and group photo to commemorate the historic moment in Morong.
The Antipolo Youth Witnessing Center represents a new hope for the young people of our church and the wider community. It is a testament to our commitment to nurturing the next generation of believers and equipping them to be effective witnesses of True Parent’s love. We look forward to seeing the continued growth and positive impact of this initiative in the years to come.
