A special service was held in Central America and the Caribbean on July 14, 2024, to move the hearts of members in every corner of the region to stand up and introduce Heavenly Parent and True Parents to people all around. In this online and offline gathering, 150 members participated in person from the Dominican Republic, 180 members participated online from the Dominican Republic, and 152 members participated online from all Central America and the Caribbean.
The Sunday service was organized and conducted by the continental headquarters. The nations that participated online were Costa Rica, Mexico, El Salvador, Honduras, Honduras, Nicaragua, St Lucia, Panama, Belize, Jamaica, and Barbados.
The service began with an hour of devotion with holy songs led by the IAYSP of the Dominican Republic, the master of the ceremony was the president of the holy community of the Dominican Republic, Rev. Bernardo Cruz Peralta. The opening prayer was offered by the president of Sub-region 5 of the Heavenly Caribbean, Rev. Leonidas Belliard.
The main message of the day was given by the regional president Rev. Sang Suek Kim, with the title “Determination Ceremony for the Victory of Vision 2025 in Central America and the Heavenly Caribbean”. Rev. Sang Suek Kim inspired the leaders and blessed families and members from Central America and the Caribbean to work hard in the time remaining for the triumphant entry into the Chong Il Santun.
He emphasized the importance of devotion in Cheon Shim Won to achieve great results in our providential works. He also spoke about True Parents’ works and achievements throughout the Latin American continent. He said that True Mother while visiting Jardim expressed her love for the Latin American community and that she is confident we will make known the heart of Heavenly Father Mother and the value of True Parents and thus make our continent a heavenly continent.
After the main message, the IAYSP youth sang worship songs. Leaders and members from Central America and the Caribbean expressed their appreciation for all the love of God and True Parents expressed by Rev. Sang Suek Kim.
In the end, the prayer of blessing was offered by Rev. Jorge Luis Olivares, president of the holy community in heavenly Nicaragua.
