We held a “Family Peace Festival for the reaffirmation and blessing of marriages” on June 29, 2024, at Jimaní, Independencia for the Association of Evangelical Ministers of Jimani. The theme for the event was “Expanding the blessing with more couples in the Dominican Republic and fulfilling the HTM” and we had 45 participants.
This blessing was organized by the ministry of God, the Good Samaritan, headed by Pastor Jesus Peralta, an evangelical minister, who joined the federation of families after receiving the blessing.
In this ceremony, 7 couples from evangelical ministers received the blessing FFWPU Dominican Republic. Then, the minister and evangelist Macoris gave the invocation.
Then the welcoming remarks were given by the president of the association of evangelical ministers of Jimaní, Pastor Fidia, who thanked the FFWPU for the blessing and asked the ministers present to welcome this great blessing.
Leonidas Belliard spoke to participants and asked the evangelical minister couples present to continue multiplying the blessing of True Parents to all the people, which is what really brings salvation to all Christians. Lic. Cesar Regalado, secretary general of the UPF and in charge of education for the Family Federation, gave the main lecture on the value and meaning of the blessing. He also gave an overview of the life and achievements of True Parents.
This was followed by the blessing ceremony, with the introduction to the blessing by the national leader, and the entrance of the attending couples and officiators. Then we had the holy wine ceremony. After that, we had the holy water ceremony, followed by the blessing vows, blessing prayer, blessing proclamation, and the indemnity stick ceremony.
The president of the association of evangelical ministers of Jimaní, Pastor Fidia with his wife, representing all the participants offered bouquets of flowers to True Parents, in gratitude for the blessing of marriage.
Finally, Pastor Jesús Peralta gave congratulatory remarks and pledged to continue multiplying the blessing of True Parents to all his people.
