On June 8, 2024, we held the 3rd HyoJeong Special Family Service and kick-off ceremony for the 3rd 40-Day National Witnessing Campaign at the Peace Embassy in Naxal, Kathmandu. The theme for the event was “Blessed Family Revival Service and Determination for 120 Youth Witnessing”. 120 participants including FFWPU Senior Leaders, Blessed Families, Second Gen and Peace Ambassadors, and youth members attended the Family Service. We are going to held a 3-day Divine Principle workshop for 120 youth leaders on July 11-13, 2024.
The HyoJeong Special Family Service was hosted by Mr. Shiva Ji Khadka a senior blessed family, with the purpose of revival service for blessed Parents, second generation, and single members. The Family Service ended up with a new determination of youth witnessing to raise potential youth leaders.
The event began with the singing of Holy Songs, Kyeongbae, Cheong Il Guk Anthem, reciting of the Family Pledge, and Opening Prayer by Senior Blessed Family Mr. Shivaji Khadka. There was also an entertaining cultural dance performance by Second Gen Miss Shin-Hye Khadka and Sadhana Khadka.
National President Rev. Prakash Babu Thapa gave a sermon on the power of devotion and shared his personal experience regarding devotion. He emphasized the need to spiritual elements to us to remain stable and grow spiritually healthy. After the sermon, Hon. Milan Kumari Rajbanshi, Former Member of Parliament, Secretary General of UPF Nepal, and Secretary of IAPP Nepal gave special remarks addressing the human spiritual values and moral duties. Similarly, Rev. Santosh Paudel, Sub-Regional Director FFWPU-South Asia gave a special message on family values and our determination on youth witnessing. The event ended with cheers of Eug Mansei by Blessed Family Mr. Lokendra Thapa and a group photo.
After the end of the HyoJeong Family Service kick-off 3rd 40-day national Witnessing Campaign determination ceremony was done with the goal of 120 youth witnessing led by the National leader, Rev. Prakash Babu Thapa. The family worship service made a good revival to Blessed Families and members and created spiritual environment becoming closer to each other and conclude with a new witnessing determination to restore Nepal.
Reflection
Mr. Shivaji Khadka and Mrs. Hari Maya Gurung – Senior Blessed Family and host of the 3rd HyoJeong Special Family Service
First of all, we are so much grateful to Heavenly Parent and True Parents given us a precious blessing in our lives. We Thank to our National Leader Rev. Prakash Babu Thapa for giving an opportunity to serve blessed families as a host on 3rd HJ Special Family Service. After a long time, we got an opportunity to meet, greet, and sponsor lunch for all. We got a chance to share our love with Blessed Families, Second Gen, and brothers and sisters through this HyoJeong Special Family service. “Food is Love” our beloved True Father has mentioned it on As a Peace-Loving Global Citizen. My wife was involved in cooking with her friends and served fresh meals. We felt they accepted our love and returned beauty to us. It was a special and unforgettable moment for us. “The family is made from the mother and the world is made from the family.” Our beloved True Mother mentioned it in her Memoir, Mother of Peace. Through this, I realized Mother’s role is very important in each family. My wife alone raised our two daughters while I was in the USA. I realized that I couldn’t appreciate her enough. I also realized that husband and wife shouldn’t separate for a long time. This HJ Special Family Service helped us to improve our relationship. Our daughters got an opportunity to perform dance during Service. Audiences were happy while they performed. Our daughters shared their feelings with me, it encouraged them to go forward and made them responsible. And the Kick-off ceremony for the 3rd 40-Day Witnessing Campaign determination ceremony made me feel that Nepal has hope and still has the potential to do witnessing. I believe that if we can unite and move together centering on True Mother then we can bring miracles and surely restore Nepal. Aju!! and thank you very much.
Miss Serena Dangi – Second generation
The 3rd HyoJeong Special Service was held on June 8, 2024, unlike from regular weekly service was a special one where many of us gathered to attend Heavenly Parent and True Parents. The service was full of our great leaders, members, and 2nd generations. We all were guided by our National Leader, Mr. Prakash Babu Thapa regarding the power of devotion and, he encouraged us to do devotion which is a key to growing spiritually. Mr. Shivaji Khadka, one of the Elder Blessed Family of Nepal, and his family hosted this event. They sponsored food and a healthy learning environment for everyone present in the service today. Today’s HyoJeong Special Service made me refreshment and blend us as one Heavenly Parent’s Holy Community.
At the end of the service, all members were guided about their goals for the upcoming 3-day Divine Principle Seminar of 120 youth participants, being held from July 11-13 under the guidance of our senior and youth leaders. All of us were highly motivated and enthusiastic about the events being held in Nepal after a long time. I want to thank all who worked hard to make his event successful and take the initiative to do youth witnessing as a nation witnessing campaign. Thank you!

Today at the 3rd HyoJeong Special Family Service I saw many senior Blessed Families and 2nd Generation attending Heavenly Parent and True Parents. I was moved by the gathering and the commitment of witnessing 120 young people in the 3-day Divine Principle seminar going to be held from July 11 to 13, 2024. Today I felt if we unite for a higher purpose then positive results will come.
Today’s HyoJeong Special Family Service and the determination of the youth witnessing gave me new hope and commitment to work harder for Heavenly Parent and True Parents providence. I want to give thanks to all leaders and brother and sister who is doing volunteer to uplift the Heavenly Parent and True Parents providence. I want to make a commitment to do youth witnessing and encourage all members to mobilize in the mission ahead.

First, I want to thank Heavenly Parent and True Parents and leaders who allowed me to share my reflection about the 3rd HyoJeong Special Family Service and Kick Off 3rd 40 Days National Witnessing Campaign. After a long time, I saw many Blessed Families and second-gen with their parents, brothers, and sisters attending jointly HyoJeong Family Service. I am very grateful to all leaders, brothers, and sisters who prepared to conduct this event several days before.
At this unified family service, the Blessed Family and members from far away joined, met each other, and shared their feelings, emotions and which made them closer. Today I realized that devotion is the key to becoming one and growing spiritual. I am inspired by our National Leader Rev. Prakash Babu Thapa who continuously does devotion and always encourages us to do devotion. I also felt that we need to do this type of unified HyoJeong Family worship service from time to time to revive ourselves which also makes us feel we belong to Heavenly Parents’ Holy Community. And I also committed myself to do youth witnessing in the coming days.
