The Heavenly Parent’s Holy Community FFWPU Zambia held a 21-day Divine Principle Workshop from December 10-31, 2023. The workshop took place at Cheonbo Heaven and Earth Africa Training Centre, Lusaka, Zambia from Sunday 30th August 2020. There was a total number of 54 second and first-generation participants from Malawi and different provinces of Zambia.
The majority of participants were youths. The workshop aimed to convey True Mother’s Heart to these young generations our nation, identify potential candidates for HJ Rang Cadets training schedule for January 2024, and prepare them for the blessing.
During the Workshop, lectures on the True Parents life course, Divine Principle, the value of blessing, Cheonshimwon Providence, Witnessing, fundraising and, sports activities, etc. and special lectures by the CheonEui Won Co-Chair Rev. Bakary Camara and Mrs. Mica Amalanman, the FFWPU Africa Regional Vice president shared onsite and one lecturer online and other sports activities as well. Also, During the Workshop, participants experienced one-day fasting to experience Heavenly Parent and True Parents’ hearts.
The graduation ceremony on Sunday, December 31, 2023, was attended by more than 150 brothers and sisters. In the opening of the ceremony, participants gave uplifting performances with local gospel songs which moved the audience. And in their heartfelt testimonies delivered by Brother Angel Mwangho from Choma, Southern Province of Zambia: “I am a changed person after undergoing drinking, the workshop was for me a panel beating”.
The second testimony is from Brother Ronald Gondwe from Malawi: ” The workshop was a great training fostering my faith in Heavenly Parent “.
In the opening remarks, IAYSP/YSD President and Workshop Coordinator, Mr. Soondo Mutewa highlighted to the families present activities carried out during the workshop and the cooperation of an amazing team of participants and contributions in multiple forms to support the workshop. He concluded with words of advice to the participants, to put into practice what they have learned during the 21 days.
FFWPU Zambia National President, Rev. David Isaac Phiri in closing remarks and of the workshop thanked participants for their endurance throughout the program. He encouraged participants not to relax at the end of the workshop but to consider it as the beginning of their mission.
The participants received their certificates of completion from Rev. David Isaac Phiri and Mr. Soondo Mutewa.
Participants concluded beautifully their graduation after attending with brothers and sisters the online Cheonshimwon Vigil Prayer celebration in the new year 2024.
The general feeling of the workshop was positive. Most of the participants were very curious to learn more and pledged.
