FFWPU Cambodia: After a month later of Interfaith Peace Blessing Ceremony event in Battambang city, FFWPU-Cambodia and UPF-Cambodia organized Interfaith Peace Blessing Ceremony (IPBC) at Phnom Penh, capital city of Cambodia. IPBC-Phnom Penh held two months later of International Youth Convention in Battambang city. With this result, Ministry of Royal Palace agreed to be co-host for this event.
This IPBC-Phnom Penh organized with the determination to fulfill first 430 couples in Cambodia those who completed 40 days separation and 3 days ceremony by before the coming of Seonghwa Anniversary in the end of August as offering best gift to True Parents. Whether it became little bit late for fulfilling this goal by 3rd Anniversary for True Father Seonghwa, but we set up the new goal that after this Phnom Penh event, we will organize for all 24 provinces for Heavenly Tribal Messiah foundation.
Since 1994 when True Parents sent 10 Japanese WFWP missionaries, Cambodia movement was started. At the time of 1994, there still remain the footstep of “Killing Field”, these 10 Japanese missionaries worked in Cambodia with life-death determination. Since these making effort for Japanese missionaries, already 21 years has passed. These 21 years, 10 Japanese missionaries together with National Messiahs laid the PR foundation. Later since 2003, from Thailand, Rev. Pasit Sirimalai started to laid the membership foundation. This membership foundation increased by Rev. Yang Su Kim from Korea. During these 21 years, German National Messiah Mr. & Mrs. Schmittat was continuously devoted for Cambodian Providence. On this PR + Membership foundation, centering on local National Leader Mr. Sophal Chamrouen, we could organize for IPBC-Phnom Penh.
Blessing Ceremony was held at Institute of Technology of Cambodia, at the center of Phnom Penh city. Chief guest of IPBC-Phnom Penh was Minister of Royal Palace H.E. Chhea Horn. And from our FFWPU & UPF side, Dr. Chung Sik Yong, Chair of UPF-Asia & Dr. Lek Thaveetermsakul, Vice Chair of UPF-Asia, came to encourage us. Dr. Yong encouraged people in Phnom Penh in his opening speech as joining and following True Parnets’ vision is the life-transforming opportunity. As the pre-program of Main Blessing Ceremony, Mr. Chamrouen Sophal, national leader to Cambodia, gave Divine Principle presentation “Family is school of love and peace”. This presentation is explaining about Principle of Creation, Human Fall and as the way of restoration, introducing about significance and meaning of Blessing Ceremony and 7 steps to become Ideal Family. Many of participants made up their mind to become the families who could encourage their community to expand heaven’s blessing through this presentation.
High light of this IPBC event was “Invocation of the Blessing”. We were using True Father’s prayer from Blessing Ceremony in Cheonshim World Peace Center, in March 2012. Because of the deep content of True Father’s prayer, all the participants were inspired, happy and grateful of Interfaith Peace Blessing Ceremony. Even as outcome of Blessing Ceremony, many people called to our office asking about following up for further learning of True Parents’ teaching during 40 days separation period.
Because of the guidance of our Continental Director Dr. Chung Sik Yong, we recognized that Heavenly Tribal Messiah activities are not only our members’ activities but also spirit world works together. Even when we do this, realm of Cain join our activities. We are so grateful to Dr. Chung Sik Yong, Asia Continental Director to encourage us to work out for Heavenly Tribal Messiah.
